Hi guys! Something I realized I completely forgot to mention in this video is the thermal spring water in the LRP cleanser (not used by Cerave). I let you know the research I found on that ingredient in my cleanser holy grails video 😊
Wash your facial skin with cold water - it works wonders for your skin, giving it a natural glow. Splash cold water on your face first thing in the morning, and when you come back from office, and prior to bedtime. Avoid using hot water as it can cause your face appear dull. Always use a gentle face wash like Littlleextra Ricebberry Face Wash, infused with black rice water, which is ten times more beneficial than normal white rice water. It keeps your skin hydrated, removes excess oil and dirt, avoids pimples, and leaves your face glowing after just one morning wash.
Pro tip for people that want that “clean feel” with the LRP - dry cleanse first with it. I usually use 2-3 pumps on my dry skin, massage it, and it lathers like a normal foaming cleanser would. Once I’ve massaged it in for about a minute, I add water. Once I have washed it off, it leaves my skin cleansed and without a stripped feeling
I like La Roche Posey better too. I feel like it gets my skincare and sunscreen off better than Cerave. I have oily skin and prefer dry skin cleaners because I feel like my skin is hydrated after cleaning instead of stripped when I have used cleaners designed more for oily skin.
I love the LRP cleanser. I have combination, acne prone skin and am currently using dermatologist prescribed topical creams for my acne and I love how this cleanser is so gentle on my skin. The topical creams I use can be a bit drying at times, and other cleansers often make my skin even drier, but this cleanser doesn't. Its gentle, yet leaves your face feeling really clean and smooth. I use it twice a day (morning and night). If you're looking for something that cleanses, without drying out your face, then this cleanser is for you!
@@selin2447 I feel like it definitely played a role in helping my acne, but it was a combination of that and other stuff I'm using like the dermatologist prescribed creams. If you struggle with acne, I def recommend the Paula's Choice 2% Salicylic Acid Toner, it's helps with acne and I use it 2-3 times a week!!
I had the same problem with the cerave product doing that “stinging/burning” feeling & I believe it was the preservatives in the product (parabens). Y’all should try the Pacifica vegan ceramide face wash, it’s top tier, no fragrance, no oils, no parabens… etc

My all time fav is the Biologique Recherche Lait E.V. It’s gentle and hydrating yet leaves no residue on my skin. I think you need a first oil or balm cleanse to get rid of sunscreen and makeup in addition to any hydrating cleanser.
I have slightly oily mild acne and love both of these cleansers, I know most oily people don't like non foaming but they are my favorite. I get dehydrated from foaming like the Cerave foaming but never from these.
I have very oily skin and thought I was really loving the foaming cleanser from Cerave, but now realize if I don’t punt moisturizer on RIGHT away, it feels so tight and uncomfortable! I am thinking of trying a hydrating one.. maybe from LRP!

In my opinion it cleanses skin really well, although I use coconut oil for my eye makeup removal. I was using the Hada Labo Gentle hydrating cleanser before, which is another great one, but I feel like I don’t have as much breakouts usuing the CeraVe one. Such good product! I recommend it for people with dry and sensitive skin, because my skin is that way and I don’t have a problem using CeraVe. Thanks for the video. :) xx

That cerave cleanser drys out my skin very badly. I can tolerate retinol, AHAs etc but not this cleanser! I heard they had a formulation change recently.
Great video, I luv different products from both brands, hard to choose. But I always luv the ceramides in Cerave. By the way what lip product are you wearing I really like that color

I have one question. My aunt brought for me a CeraVe hydrating cleanser. but that one is for dry to normal skin. I saw all hydrating cleanser but there is no cleanser for normal to dry skin. Is this one good for me I have dry skin?
I use an exfoliant cleanser twice a week to clean out pores. I don't need to clean pores daily. I just use the gentle cleansers every day and if I ever feel like I have a clogged pore build up I'll use an exfoliant cleanser
I just bought LRP and it doesn't remove my makeup at all. It like smears it on my skin and no matter how much I rinse, my mascara is still in a thin layer all over my face. If I wipe a cotton pad over it after I cleanse, it's all dirty with leftover makeup :( Am I using this wrong?
Cerave leaves residue,so this is just not doing what is it supposed to do - cleanse. applying other products after becomes innefiecient, because maybe they dont penetrate so well thought that left residue. Does LRP also feel like something is left after cleansing?
i used to not use any cleanser for the simple fact that i never really suffered from acne but i started using the cerave hydrating one as a for of self care i guess and started breaking out within the week of using it. is this normal? cause i’m not used to seeing so many pimples on my face
I have dry skin I use the cerave hydrating cleanser and the cerave moisturizer cream, and my skin feels tight and I grew new pimples should I keep using it?
I couldn’t use the Cerave cleanser as it was too drying for me. If your skin feels tight stop using them. I would use Vanicream to calm your skin down and then try the cerave cream again.
@@Gamn_kn for cleansing I use bioderma’s micellar for sensitive skin and or albolene which is a moisturizing cleansing cream. Let you skin heal up. Sometimes I put an Hyluronic Acid on before the Vanicream if my skin is really dry.

La Roche posay Toleriane Dermo-cleanser might be for you. Very gentle, not very good at getting rid of makeup but great if you need a mild and refreshing cleanse.
I’ve been having the same problem...even sensitive and dry skin cleansers feel awful and drying on my skin. I just ran out of Versed gentle cycle cleanser, and even though while I was using it I wondered if it was doing anything, I think I’m going to have to buy another. It doesn’t remove my sunscreen adequately so I oil cleanse first. But I need something to remove that residue and the versed cleanser leaves my skin feeling lovely. I’ve previously used Alpha H balancing cleanser too, and it felt pretty nice, but I prefer the versed.
Any tips on removing makeup? I’ve tried both of these but have major trouble when double cleansing. I’ve tried starting with the inkey list cleansing balm but LRP and especially Cerave don’t do much to remove the oil. My skin has really been breaking out since trying Cerave. I’m so confused why everyone loves these. Help!

That cerave cleanser drys out my skin very badly. I can tolerate retinol, AHAs etc but not this cleanser! I heard they had a formulation change recently.
So interesting! I haven’t heard that yet now I’m curious
Great video, I luv different products from both brands, hard to choose. But I always luv the ceramides in Cerave. By the way what lip product are you wearing I really like that color
Which would u recommend for dry sensitive skin?
Hi 👋 hope you’re all having a great day! Would you consider trying Earth to Skin cleansers? They’re very economic and very gentle.
I’ll look into them 😊
they was prolly talking ab the cream to foam hydrating cleanser that removes makeup
Oh so you mean you'd use the Cerave Hydrating Cream to Foam Cleanser as a first cleanser to remove makeup/sunscreen, before the Hydrating one...?
My skin type is like something in balance around my nose are so flaky and dry
My forehead also get some break out
What cleanser should I use??
I would love a review on the Malibu C hard water treatment and even their shampoos for hard water build up.
La roche tolerone cleanser burns my skin a bit
I experience that as well!
Samee
Has scent irritates
Hey!! Love your video, like always!!! Thank you so much!! I actually love both of them!!! But it's always good to know more!!
Your skin + make up, looks flawless!! Keep safe❤
Thank you so much ♥️
Abbey please please tell me what you think about the Acure rejuvenating whipped night cream with peptides. Is it really a drunk elephant protini cream dupe??
Hello. i have dry skin and pimples on my forehead. Should i use La Roche Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Facial Cleanser?
It’s a good one!
Love this background setup!
Yay so glad! the temporary one was a hit 😂
I have one question. My aunt brought for me a CeraVe hydrating cleanser. but that one is for dry to normal skin. I saw all hydrating cleanser but there is no cleanser for normal to dry skin. Is this one good for me I have dry skin?
Yes it would be good for your skin.
I love them both.
has anyone with combination skin tried LRP cleanser? please tell me how you feel about it because i’m thinking of buying it
I have combination skin.oily t zone and dry on the other areas. I switched from the cerave foam to LRP hydrating cleanser and I love it.
@@LoveConquersAll888 have you tried the Cerave cream to foam cleanser? Thats the one best suited for combo skin
@@LoveConquersAll888 i use cerave and ill try it out! , ty
Can you review products for your body skin like exfoliants, moisturizers, for soft glowing skin
I don’t use exfoliants aside from sometimes using a dry brush. Body lotions I love are Hempz & Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream!
Are the surfactants good enough to cleanse the pores, or are they to gentle
I use an exfoliant cleanser twice a week to clean out pores. I don't need to clean pores daily. I just use the gentle cleansers every day and if I ever feel like I have a clogged pore build up I'll use an exfoliant cleanser
I just bought LRP and it doesn't remove my makeup at all. It like smears it on my skin and no matter how much I rinse, my mascara is still in a thin layer all over my face. If I wipe a cotton pad over it after I cleanse, it's all dirty with leftover makeup :( Am I using this wrong?
That’s because you need to use a make up remover such as a cleansing balm before you actually cleanse your face.
I would use a light oil to remove makeup and follow it up with the cleanser.
Do you have any advise for dark eye circles? Products and routine...
What about sunscreen removal?
i use both
Cerave leaves residue,so this is just not doing what is it supposed to do - cleanse. applying other products after becomes innefiecient, because maybe they dont penetrate so well thought that left residue.
Random but.... love this sweater on you! :-)
I have dry skin I use the cerave hydrating cleanser and the cerave moisturizer cream, and my skin feels tight and I grew new pimples should I keep using it?
I couldn’t use the Cerave cleanser as it
was too drying for me. If your skin feels tight stop using them. I would use Vanicream to calm your skin down and then try the cerave cream again.
@@debd6451 what should I use with vanicream?
@@Gamn_kn for cleansing I use bioderma’s micellar for sensitive skin and or albolene which is a moisturizing cleansing cream. Let you skin heal up. Sometimes I put an Hyluronic Acid on before the Vanicream if my skin is really dry.
@@debd6451 what about for dry patches, I have a mini dry patch on my nose?
@@Gamn_kn I use the ordinary’s glycolic toner and try to gently exfoliate. Follow the directions. I would wait on the toner until your skin doesn’t feel tight. Tight not only means but can be a reaction to ingredients. This is what works for me and may not work for you.
Please reply I'm so confused that i bought the fake la roche posay hydrating gentle cleanser as it smells like pencil. Does the real one smells like pencil or not?
Thank you for your video I know this might be old but I was looking into the LRP clenser after having some irritation which wasn't there when I used the expensive one my derm gave me a sample of that I can't afford
Both of these dried me out :( ugh so frustrating.
La Roche posay Toleriane Dermo-cleanser might be for you. Very gentle, not very good at getting rid of makeup but great if you need a mild and refreshing cleanse.
Ceramedx might be good for you
I’ve been having the same problem...even sensitive and dry skin cleansers feel awful and drying on my skin.
Is it good for men?
How much of LRP do you use? I cleanse in the shower AM and PM and rinse off under my showerhead with cooler water.
Help!
Hi.
I do a first cleanse with baby shampoo.
Extremely gentle.. good for make up removal.
Then, I use the Cerave for the second clean.
Do a double cleanse with the hada labo oil (Amazon) and then use one of these to then wash face.
Have you tried any Bioderma cleansers? Specifically their Sébium Foaming Gel or the Sensibio Foaming Gel?
Sorry.. I was first as I already finished watching in the very first minute😜
😂♥️
