personally I like echo of the elements cuz its easier to keep riptide up on everyone so chain heal is buffed on everyone for the most part and I like that earth shield totem personally, I feel like on the trash pulls in mythic plus anyway is nice to help get u setup with all ur ramp up heals like rain and totems taking up gcds they take less dmg for a sec, although in raids that vigor might b better and Idk y I never really read that cloudburst talent but that seems pretty spiffy tho haha might play around with that
not sure how to feel about a guide from a 839 resto sham. not saying ilvl is everything but it's an indicator on what content you've done and how much you've played.judging by your artifact and ilvl I can't think you've done competitive mythic+ or raiding as a sham.
234kwon I can see where your coming from, but do you agree with the stat/artifact trait priority, and the spell breakdown with rotation/prioritising? if you have other ideas on specific things I would love to hear about it, best way to learn afterall is to listen. Also to answer you're question I only have raided this xpac on heroic I have no real interest in mythic right now, mythic + is my jam and I currently run +6-9 with my group. but your right I haven't done that level on my shaman, highest I've done is +5 on sham.
EternalFire Gaming if add that your talent build is much more suited for raiding and mythic+ has a very different build. I've done +10 and found undulation is much better then torrent. also cloud burst is insanely good in raiding but very underwhelming in higher mythic + so I run with echo. with echo I'm able to do a RT-HW-HS RT-HS-HW and keep the group up during moderately heavy group wide damage. also for the last tier I prefer ascendance since chain heals aren't casted that much in mythic. I recently got Jonat(legendary chain heal ring) and experimented with a more chain heal oriented build but found the throughput isn't enough in higher mythic. I think The biggest advice about competitive mythic+ is that you shouldn't be afraid to use Healing Surge because of its mana cost.
+234kwon agreed, same when I farmed CMs as resto druid you would spam regrowth, when in raiding spamming your fast expensive heal is a big no no. Wow awesome input man thank you for the comment! I will have to play around with those with those talents
skillfulactor09 use healing surge for emergencies, and healing wave for stable incoming dmg. don't forget to always keep riptide on tank and other players taking dmg. healing rain and chain heal for big aoe dmg, and don't forget your healing totem cds.
+skillfulactor09 yea there is a lot to manage with resto sham but it's a pretty fun spec to play with practice. If you have any questions let us know. Based on the comments we have some knowledgeable resto shamans in this comment section
thanks man i thought about mist weaver also they seem so fun but so many to choose from ehhe do you think dps can carry a raid more then healer or tanks carry a raid if fully geard i know it might be a hard question but yeah
The talent are a bit weak for 5 man's. if you want some more healing power you should go for Torrent Wind Rush Totem, Lightning Surgee Totem Crushing Waves or ancestral Guidance ( they are both really good) Earthen Shield totem (really good for then your team is taken aoe damage) or Ancestral Vigor ( I used this for a long time but found out that life was better with the other one) Echo of the elements ( this will help your artifact trail pop more often) Ascendance (Might be one of the best spells, it gives you two great aoe spells.) This is the best if you use the artifact trail where you follow the sides the the top (and with this build you'll never use Chain Heal; Thanks god) :D Best regard Noemata
This felt more like a video trying to prove your build to be the best when you went through you talents and build, you never told us why you chose said talents or why crit should be second to haste and so on. In addition, reading the talents while presenting them felt cheap, a bit boring to listen to, maybe write a script next time? Just some positive criticism. Though I can't wait until you level up your weapon and get some gear and realize how strong some of the other talents are!
for mythic plus you wanna use the following talents
ulduation
WR/gow/GS - any one works
LST
Crashing waves or AG - i Prefer CW
AV
echo
ascendance
Saw that guy contantly jumping of the cliff?😂
anyone notice someone keep running off the edge? lol
deluge, cloudburst, hightide for raiding. gotta go with the riptide tidal wave build for mythic + cause chain heal takes too long to cast all the time
Thanks for the input man i appreciate it.

234kwon ilvl don't mean shit with all the Titan forged and warforged shit
i lov your ilvl :D
so what is the rotation for dungeons ? im not sure? like what is good for emergency and what is the one should be used all the time ?
skillfulactor09 use healing surge for emergencies, and healing wave for stable incoming dmg. don't forget to always keep riptide on tank and other players taking dmg. healing rain and chain heal for big aoe dmg, and don't forget your healing totem cds.
its so much active ness on restro shaman in 5 man i feel like im to active like al over the place compare to druid just hot the target and relaxing

+skillfulactor09 i think it really depends on too many variables to answer that question lol
What frames are you useing?
+Ron Wilson ELVUI
does this work good for 5 man dung this guide talent?
skillfulactor09 this build will work for 5 man's but I encourage you to try other talents as well, let me know what you end up preferring.
