So in other words, proactive tasks are what you know you have to do to chase your goal, and reactive tasks are the promblem-solving tasks that enable you to get to those practice tasks so you're essentially "reacting" to your excuses? If so, I think something that might help is to make an excuses brainstorm column in the middle and then draw an arrow to the solution in the reactive column? So that later you don't look at your list and wonder what you were thinking and what the motivation is. It's basically building a tool box for when your plan springs a leak, so you gotta know the purpose of the tools to justify owning them.

The fact you look excited to rehash something you didn't do well the first time I think shows what kind of teacher you are❤ I love these videos, good job!

💊 Proactive task: A direct action towards the goal (e.g., actually writing).

I am so GLAD I found your channel. It is so helpful and the tips you give, rarely someone on UA-cam is giving

  • @liana2136

Your videos are so helpful... thank you.

  • @vincenzolandino

Amy Landino is the productivity queen. Thank you for this explanation!

Well look at you! Thank you so much for giving us clarity on this. I felt like I couldn’t move forward properly from the other video without understanding. This was my first time voicing my opinion of wanting a video from someone I follow on YT and then it happened and I’m like, “wow, she actually listens to her subscribers.” This is pretty cool and makes me more excited to continue watching and learning. So thank you, Amy! ❤

This is MAGIC. I totally recognize that I have some sort of excuse to not start something. I go through those excuses in my head and tell myself that's not an actual reason to not start and i can conquer some tasks that way, but other tasks are harder to go through this mental block. Writing it down like this would be very effective!

Wow. This is a great content. I think many people have a lot of good ideas that could help the rest of the world, but they don't share them for one reason or another. In this case, you got such a good idea about the organization and how to achieve our dreams considering our real life. So, THANK YOU FOR SHARE IT, it will help me a lot! I'm 24 and I'm from Colombia. I don't have enough money to study for a bachelor at this moment. My biggest dream is to study in Germany. , I'm working on my language and saving money to travel and study. And I'll use your method to achieve this.

You are a true teacher. You teach something. People didn't get it fully. You didn't just clarify a doubt. You went down the same chapter once more, explained it atom by atom, clarified the doubt by simplifying the example part, went deep on that one example and made everyone happy, satisfied and well of course understood❤

I have been given a lot of advice in my life and this is truly the most amazing thing I’ve ever done to organize my adhd brain.

  • @chloetsang5649

so proactive is when you know what you have to do, and reactive is eliminating the friction, thanks for the video!

  • @oogvoorhetpaard

Thank you so much for the in-depth explanation. I was just waiting for that.

I have an issue that made me want to give up on a task. Then, after watching this video I decided to do the best I could to work on the task. It took me a lot longer than usual, but I got some of it done. Now I'm going to work on another task, which again will take longer than usual, but I WILL get it done. I guess the result is that if you do nothing, nothing will get done. Thanks for your videos.
