    What's bugging me right now is not the planning, it's the actual doing. Getting up out of this chair and going and doing. What's bugging me is that I'm using planning as a form of procrastination. Instead of writing the task and ✔️. I've got to find the sticker. If there's no sticker, I've got to print one. And migrating tasks that are for projects that should be on the some day maybe page, because I really would like it, but not that much. 💖🌞🌵😷

    The reason why writing it down is so helpful is because when we write we become an author of those thoughts and feelings that we wrote down. The words author and authority both come from the word auctorem which means master, founder, leader. 😊 great video!

    Amy's breakdown of the CCC method is nothing short of brilliant. As someone who's always on the lookout for productivity hacks, this video exceeded my expectations. The emphasis on clarity as the first step really resonated with me because it's something I often overlook. But Amy's explanation drove home the importance of getting clear on what needs to be done. Plus, her encouragement to take small, actionable steps towards our goals is incredibly motivating. Highly recommend this video to anyone looking to boost their productivity!

      I have so much content recorded, but it needs to be edited and posted. I feel so behind! Hiring an editor is more work than help right now. I need a better system, for getting my videos out. Batching my time to edit them gets exhausting. Recording for me is easy, but no one ever gets to see them! 🤦‍♀

    I love the example of “open a canva account!” I feel like my biggest issue - now more than ever before- is making the next actionable step too broad and too big. I feel like even with limited capacity due to health reasons that if I make that step small enough, I can do it. If it’s too big, I get discouraged and nothing gets done. I think I just need many small tiny steps that are very doable. On good days I can do a few, while on “bad days” I just do one - but it is one tiny step forward I wouldn’t have taken otherwise. 🎉

    Seriously, getting a project down on paper, clarifying things, and getting to your next action is a big deal, but I don’t have the time to keep rewriting projects that get a little bit detoured by the unexpected. And that happens with a lot of projects.
    I also want things on paper. So I need to put it into a program that allows me to print it out. I may print it on the back of scratch paper, or on fresh new paper. But I want it printed out and I can scribble in adjustments as needed. If I run out of room, I can update the document and re-print it.
    I use a disc binder so that it is easy to replace pages with my own paper and a punch.
    I still have Microsoft OneNote 2010 on a computer that is now my off-line computer. (thanks to no new security updates) and the newest version I have doesn’t perform this function (at least not in the free version. I don’t know about the paid one). But this program lets me tag the next action, with a quick click, and untag things, just as easily. When I put one project on each page, and put the title of the project as the title of the page, I can print out this fantastic list of the projects in bold, with the very next actions indented below it, actions that I consider available immediately. (not every project has only sequential steps).
    I can call up this summary and see exactly what my options are for moving forward on all the projects that I asked to view (by virtue of the section or the notebook that I put them in.)
    I can either print that or I can select from that list and manually transfer it to The planner that I am using that day, whether it’s a digital one or a paper one. And sometimes I just take a screenshot of the computer screen.
    But it is really helpful to see the entire scope of a project at one time. It’s easier to think of missing steps that should be inserted. It’s easy to go get the phone number I need and jot it down on that project page, and in my phone. I will typically do it in more than one place because during weather emergencies, I don’t have reliable cell service, but sometimes my spouse’s phone does. And having things on paper is really good when there’s no power. There are certain kinds of projects that are great to do when there’s no power, but it’s hard to remember all of them and what the next action is, if it’s all locked inside of a computer that won’t turn on.

    🙌 Very Simple! I have so many to do lists that I feel like they never get done! Gotta work on the projects vs tasks part. 🤔 BUT I am great about taking action on projects just not always finishing them. I have a saying that "Perfection is the enemy of done" so I always aim for done vs perfect that way at least I have something started that I can review and perfect. Excited about the next video! I'd LOVE to see an updated video about how you write, record, and edit your videos. I saw the 12 week planning process! I have tons of videos recorded, but not sure how to catch up on editing and publishing them! How far in advance do you record vs edit and upload, publish etc... So many questions Amy! BTW you're looking amazing love you! 😘

    Diversify income would be a huge help for those of us who have little to no Experience. Having one central place to track more of not only what we expect to be doing, but to track the chaos that has came up in life in a realistic way along with meeting expectations while finding time to plan daily goals or at least take small steps towards progressing.

      Diverse income streams are helpful if you are first spending wisely. If you spend money like water flowing through your fingers and you have outstanding credit to pay, it doesn't matter how many income streams you have, your spending will still be out of control. 💖🌞🌵😷

    You stated exactly what the issues is with my feeling disorganization-it’s the not knowing what to do with new information. I will remember something in my personal life I need to do or have work meetings and get new tasks or projects and I don’t have an immediate place for me to store that new information. I put it in a Notepad on my computer - all my notes for the day and it stays there. Gets lost 😞

    • @bitrudder3792
      @bitrudder3792 4 місяці тому

      Mental discipline is the answer to your dilemma. And there are definitely times when it is more difficult to exert yourself in that direction. Generally, people have to start with the idea that their thought process has to change from negativity, or global, thinking, the idea that you can’t do some thing, and that you can never do it. That’s the beginning of a spiral downward. Sometimes people add negative self condemnation onto that, very unhelpful. And basically not really even true unless you… Make it true by acting in accordance with it.
      Some people are like this, naturally, because they never learned to think differently. Others regressed to this, because life has come out them with both barrels and circumstances are extremely difficult. Either way, it is still a mind game.

    The thing with the trash happens to me every other week.😢 And it is only collected after 14 days. Thats why I have to figure out how to recycle the most whenever I can. 😂
    What I wanna say it could be worse than that. We have a pretty good life❤

    • @bitrudder3792
      @bitrudder3792 4 місяці тому +1

      Here’s a trash tip if you find it helpful: some trash doesn’t smell. The stuff that does smell after a few days can be double or triple bagged (I use shopping bags from the grocery store), and I put it in a designated corner of the freezer until trash day. Or maybe the night before. If I forget to put it out, one week, it’s not going to be disgusting by the next week. Other than that, composting, if it’s produce, and rinsing out any packaging that might stink after a couple of days - only after rinsing does it go into the trash bin. I am also careful to clean things before they go into the recycling bin. I don’t want to mess up the recycling process.

    I am stressed listening to this video. If people would just slow down and stop doing and buying so much, production wouldn't be so important.

    Bae, 14 seconds in, not hate, just a thought XO I don't like the slightly sped up of the voice, it sounds a little weird, it might be a to keep engagement thing but i just like to hear you talking properly to, you have a keep us engaged voice (gossip girl) lol and i honestly feel like it spoils it just a touch, not enough that i don't watch but... thats my opinion, love you regardless, constructive criticism xxxx
