Lyrics
Well, I can find my way
I know my left from right
Because we never close
I'm open day and night
I know my way around
I walk towards the light
I'm open 'round the clock
I don't get lost at night
(Chorus)
You never used to be afraid of days like these
But now you're overwhelmed by your anxieties
Let me help you out, let me be your guide
I can help you reach the love you feel inside
Well, I can find my way
I know my left from right
Because wе never close
I'm opеn day and night
(Chorus)
You never used to be afraid of days like these
But now you're overwhelmed by your anxieties
Let me help you out, let me be your guide
I can help you reach the love you feel inside
I know my way around
I walk towards the light
I'm open 'round the clock
I don't get lost at night
(Chorus)
You never used to be afraid of days like these
But now you're overwhelmed by your anxieties
Let me help you out, let me be your guide

"I don't work at being ordinary" - Paul McCartney
I didn't think this sounded like Paul at all, sounded egotistical. I looked up the interview it's from, 1984 Playboy interview. He was saying he's just ordinary, he doesn't have to work at it, he's just an ordinary guy who gets along with ordinary people, he doesn't think of himself as more special than anyone.
@@sup9542 That's exactly how I interpreted it. It didn't sound egotistical to me, quite the reverse.

@Variant Strain Actually, it kind of sounds like Beck.
I’ve never expected that I would be alive to see young Paul McCartney stoned
My father wouldn't believe that this is actually a McCartney's song, and he's more than 60's and has been a Beatles fan since forever
I AM more than 60's and I find this cool. :)
It sounds heavily influenced by Becks style. One thing I loved about the Beatles was picking out what I thought were influences by the individuals in different parts of the songs, and the ones that were OBVIOUSLY more Lennon, Harrison or McCartney. Ringo had a lot of input as well, but his was generally more subtle and about timing; I think I heard one of them mention that in one of the many documentaries I enjoyed with my mom.

Happened to me also, only in the Supermarket
Was Paul dropping LSD in 1964? LOL
@@FlamingoKicker I believe him and John were consuming a bit of pot at that time and after the Beatles met Bob Dylan who introduced them to pot cigarettes they became full blown druggies and later on in pre-1967 they experimented with LSD which gave us Sgt. Pepper's and Magical Mystery tour
I'd personnaly say 1966
24 yo Macca
@@liberxionzion5959 Yeah 1966 was when they were experimenting with LSD also so that would fit. It's actually a good visual piece although I doubt Mac ever moved like that. Wasn't something young people of his generation really did although if he was growing up now he might do those robot-style break dancing moves. But if John saw him doing that he would give him a right good thumping I'm sure and laugh at him.

Totalmente!!! Un genio!!!
Paul had his first hit song in 1962. His work with the Beatles in the 1960's is legendary. In the 1970's he had a solo career that produced such mega hit albums as 'Band On The Run' and hit singles such as 'Live And Let Die' and 'Let Em In'. During the 1980's he continued his hit making route with songs such as 'Ebony And Ivory' and 'No More Lonely Nights'. The 1990's gave us his amazing world tours and Grammy nominated albums like 'Flaming Pie'. In the 21st Century he has continued to complete mega world tours and produce critically acclaimed new music on albums such as 'Chaos And Creation' and 'Egypt Station' as well as hit collaborations with newer artist's such as Rhiannon. His last album, released Xmas 2020 went straight to No 1 on the UK charts. And now this amazing song - 'Find My Way'. After 60 years of making music and having hit albums and sold out tours, I think Sir Paul McCartney deserves his title of 'legend'.
Rhiannon
He’s been Legendary
Only because he was a Beatle these songs aren’t good you wouldn’t be listening to them
"Only because he was a Beatle these songs aren’t good you wouldn’t be listening to them" Said someone who apparently has never listened to anything paul mccartney did post beatles
@@aunch3 You are entitled to your opinion about what defines 'good' in respect of popular songwriting. However, regardless of whether or not Sir Paul McCartney composed this song, I would still enjoy it. It is as good a song as anything currently in the top 40. That is my opinion. His last album was as inventive as anything produced by many younger artists within the last 12 months. And Sir Paul's 2018 album 'Egypt Station' is my favourite Macca solo album since 'Band On The Run'. If you have not been paying attention to some of his more recent solo efforts such as 'Chaos and Creation', 'Flaming Pie' and 'Memory Almost Full', then you have missed some excellent recordings from a craftsman of popular music.
I still have Give My Regards to Broadstreet cassette and the songs are in my playlist to this day. I listen to it every night. I used to own every Beatles album on cassette as well but I loaned them out to an aunt decades ago and never got them back. She passed away last year. So I'm not going to ask her family for them back. If she got joy from them, that is just fine with me. Anyway, my dad(May he rest in peace) got me the Abbey Road 8track when I was 5 and I have been a Beatlemaniac ever since. Thank you, Paul, for the memories... and for everything. Regards.
PS - It would be amazing if this comment got a "heart" from Paul. I don't have much longer to go and it would complete my life.
Got this album ‘McCartney 3’. So great to hear quality musicianship again.
Paul looking good like a millennial!
Edit: What I meant by my comment is that Paul would have also looked good if he were born in this generation :))
Because of a computer graphic. His face is from 1965
Lol
Paul always a millenial, never an inmillenial!
Not millenial !! CEntenial !!!
@@elsantogrialdelima995 Let's say he's timeless.
It's different but that's one of the best things about Paul McCartney. He's still trying to evolve all these years later.
While I'll always be 60s/70s rock fan I love artists who keep changing like David Bowie and Paul McCartney.
no hes not, its called being WOKE and pushing the agenda fool
Personally I love his passion for music , he has loads of money , fame , respect infact more.than any musician ever but then too he does it that means despite all of it he loved and still loves music...cause there are 100 celebs in the market there who pick.up music for the girls
@@Truthall firstly, ma'am Paul McCartney could tell me Margaret Thatcher was right about Ireland and I'd buy his next album. The Beatles were woke way before it was trendy. You can respect and appreciate a musician and enjoy their music even if you don't agree with their politics, views on the world or religion. John Lennon wasn't a role model. I still love the White album. And you're the true fool if you can't accept that.
@@Truthall lmao wtf is "woke" about this song or video?
I could watch and listen to this over and over again. It is delightful and funky! And because the verses are simple and repeated over and over again, one picks up the words easily. Love it!
