In fact, as a person who has worked in the legal field, and the MA court system all my adult life, I think the case should have been tried in another county. This is unfair to the Defendant, and the victims family. This Judge is bias, she should have recused herself in the beginning. A complaint should be filed in the SJC with respect to the judge, and the prosecutors. What a half assed investigation, which was corruption at its best. This includes Special Agent Higgins who is a disgrace to his profession. This case should be thrown out, starting with the exoneration of Ms Read. What a disgrace to the good people of Canton, excluding the Alberts, the McCabes, and Special Agent Higgins. Especially Jenn McCabe, and Brian Higgins, who lied throughout their testimony. The Alberts are obviously hiding the truth, and the lead investigator Michael Proctor, has made huge errors, including not disclosing his relationships wuth the witnesses etc , let a dignified agency like the FBI investigate these clowns, so that our tax money isn't being wasted. I’ve said this more than once, but this judge is clearly bias, she sustains the objection when her lawyer mentions that you didn’t need a lawyer with Proctor but you did in the other interview, clearly shows he had nothing to worry about with Proctor, knowing he’s corrupt and controlling the narrative. Yet in the other interview he did need a lawyer, and once again this questionable judge sustains the objection in favour of the prosecution. Cases like this are we the people absolutely do not trust police or the so called justice system….if this was the like the 1800’s it would be a civil was scenario. Except now we can’t do that because there is no impartial justice system and there are more corrupt cops than decent ones (who again can’t even stand up to the corrupt cops). This kid on stand is another joke of a so called human being.

The fact that he refers to the decent as "that guy" just shows how little, if any respect he has or had for John Okeefe, Karen Read, and John's family. He and his over the top dramatic wife, think they are smarter than everyone else. The inconsistencies from both of them just shows how rehearsed or coached their testimony was It was. It was actually very hard to listen to. I hope John Okeefes family is now seeing what most of us are seeing. Karen Read is innocent, what happened was clearly a cover up in which the decedent was brutally beaten up, and not by some 110 pound woman either by hand or vehicle.

Body language from Judge towards Karen Reed when giving "Good morning greetings" is contemptuous and dismissive! She is smiling before addressing defence, immediately drops the smile when saying good morning directly to defence. She leaves her chair and says "Good morning Miss Reed" when facing jurors. Doesn't even look Karen in face. Her bias is unmistakable, especially when she gives a beaming smile, immediately afterwards when saying Good morning to jurors. The world is watching you Bev!

If this kid with the scraped knuckles murdered Okeef, he sure is confident. Would think he would not hold up this well under a good cross exam. The sad part of all of this is the murder will never be solved. When you do not investigate the witnesses for years later, destroy evidence such as cell phones, text using Snapchat, get rid of the dog, sell the house and remodel it etc, it won’t be solved.

I don’t get why this judge sustains an objection but I guess she doesn’t want to sustain more than 2 in a row, so she asks the question herself “ Did you?” Or “Is it true?” What’s the point of her asking of the attorneys? Sustain it or overrule it. I have never seen anything like that in a trial.

The whole case is confusing. If the house party folks all came and went at various times, how in the world would they be able to all conspire to make up a story to cover up a murd*r ? Why did they dump his body outside on their own property? I’m not saying Ms. Reed is responsible. It’s just I’m not understanding what happened.
Because there is 0 evidence of conspiracy. Frankly. I dont understand how the judge allowed all witnesses to be crossed examined as if they were on trial for conspiracy or cover up. Anything they did or said was misconstrued. That is why there was a hung jury imo.

It was Karen Read who changed her initial ' i hit him 3x' statement to multiple ppl including the paramedic'. What motive would fellow cops have to kill him as soon as he got there & then decide to drag his body on their front lawn for public viewing? Makes no rational sense. The evidence indicates she was in a druken rage ( listen to her voice msgs to him after)& went in reverse @ 24 mph hitting him on a side swap & he collapsed onto the snowless ground. She was last with him & first to find him exactly where she left him . She may have not recalled what she did, but she sure did it!

I’ve said this more than once, but this judge is clearly bias, she sustains the objection when her lawyer mentions that you didn’t need a lawyer with Proctor but you did in the other interview, clearly shows he had nothing to worry about with Proctor, knowing he’s corrupt and controlling the narrative. Yet in the other interview he did need a lawyer, and once again this questionable judge sustains the objection in favour of the prosecution. Cases like this are we the people absolutely do not trust police or the so called justice system….if this was the like the 1800’s it would be a civil was scenario. Except now we can’t do that because there is no impartial justice system and there are more corrupt cops than decent ones (who again can’t even stand up to the corrupt cops). This kid on stand is another joke of a so called human being.
Seems to me the judge impose too many restrictions on the cross examination and cause the trial to be very lengthy...even simple necessary questions....and she .make the defense work twice as hard as necessary....the trial is not flowing....

This “wolf in judge clothing” acting like she’s trying to even the playing fields cuz she knows the prosecution doesn’t stand a chance. My husband was in the German army and is an ex-boxer and used to have a security firm. I showed him the picture. He says no way his injured knuckles happened from a fall. He says it is 100% from a fight. He says such an injury takes longer to heal.
