Jacob & Stasia Larison - We camp on the south end of Joshua Tree National Park and hike the Cottonwood spring loop. After windy conditions, we pack up and head to Dos Pico's County Park in Poway, California. We learned that free boondocking sites are hard to come by in Southern California.

No water in California? This year there is plenty of water, but when you are in the middle of the desert, you're definitely not going to find a spring like there is in the mid West! You're in the desert.
