    Bob and Brad, I really appreciate your videos. They are very informative for self help, especially when you have ongoing issues like myself. My friend who is a physical therapist that has been taking care of me several times over the years for issues I had until we moved away, she put me on to your videos and highly recommended you. I am in my 70 and as you know things sort of go down hill at that age 😊 I am in PT therapy right now for my SI joint but you have a lot of videos that are ment for me and I want to thank you again for educating us.😊👍❤️

    Great information - thanks. And the other one you just did on back pain is very helpful for me. Will you please do one on hip joint pain, too? It bothers me in bed and sometimes wakes me up with pain on both sides so it's hard to find a comfortable position. Oh, by the way, "adhese" is not a word. I think the word you're looking for is "adhere." The noun is adhesion, but the verb is adhere.

    If you have knee pain that came from nowhere you should consider Vit D deficiency. That's my personal experience. For 8 years I had pain at the top of my kneecap. I could only feel it when climbing steps and especially in the winter. I tried physio and various sports but no change.
    I started taking Vit D3 8000iu and K2 MK7 200mcg (daily). Three months later the pain disappeared, just like that! 😂 magic

    Hi I've had a knee replacement, I can't bend my knee past 90 degrees, which is a problem for walking downstairs and I can't do a full revolution on a bike because it can't bend enough, I can feel the muscle behind my knee go really stiff and not move. • @TheOmnipresent12
      @TheOmnipresent12 2 роки тому +1

      I'd suggest to 'work around' the area and 'close in' on it if no improvements are felt. Breaks the rules a little in regards what B&B say in this video but if you finally have no results by proxy'... I'd 'move in' if gently to the very specific area. B&B 'might' even agree with this with the proviso' that you (GENTLY)... go outside the circle a little. Let us know how you go! Hope you'll get some reprieve!

    • @menevar7529
      @menevar7529 2 роки тому +1

      @@TheOmnipresent12 so, it’s been several days. I’ve stopped exercising completely to heal the knee although I do take walks. I stopped icing and just massage. I found pain comes from the hip and groin areas. I do massage behind the knee and keep the massage gun on the soar areas for about 20 seconds. I can already feel improvements.

    • @TheOmnipresent12
      @TheOmnipresent12 2 роки тому

      @@menevar7529 Maybe do a little work at each end (and across) your iliotibial fascia/areas. In your case I wonder the the uppers iliotibial area may to some degree be affecting you towards the deeper/inner groin. B&B often say not to go near the bursa and I agree, however I go a little 'outside the circle' on this one and VERY gently 'tap on' the bursa. I'm perhaps breaking the rules on this a little, but I do feel it works *for me*... If you try this do so at your own risk and again... ONLY DO very, very lightly. In your case I would also add that *I* do VERY light 'tapping' right on my kneecap. But again, B&B don't advocate this. I find that this has the effect of 'loosening' up the knee cap. I fully imagine this may not be possible for some and may have no effect at all. Note also that B&B advise to ONLY go around the outskirts of the patella and even then to 'go easy' when/if doing so.

    Love the videos guys. Well, I've got my 'gun' now and have been having some *great* results over the last few weeks. But just wondering... with respect to my thighs... I have some areas of skin that are hyper sensitive (ever heard of an awful condition called Meralgia Paresthetica?). Thus I'm feeling that when using my massager that not only are we massaging muscle (deeper trigger points and such) but also massaging can I say the not so deep 'fascial adhesions' layer. I'm actually feeling that by 'proxy' in loosening up adhesion affected areas that it is 'allowing' the femoral nerve and more particularly the lower branches of the nerve to once again move more freely and/or receive more/better blood flow. Certainly my pain has reduced quite a lot since utilising the massager. I have to set the power to 'one' and only lightly percuss super hyper-sensitive areas BUT I feel that these areas are 'loosening up' and also the hyper sensitivity is (slowly but surely) reducing. In areas that are not hyper sensitive I'll massage deeper into muscle and increase the power setting to encourage blood flow if especially nearer to hyper sensitive areas.
    My theory is that in loosening up my higher than normal amount of fascial adhesions around the Fem' nerve that it turn, its nerve branches are being stimulated by or with more/better blood flow moving more pervasively throughout and around the affected areas. There is most definitely a 'no pain no gain' basis in the case of my particular degree of success and I'd suggest to others to ONLY start doing this *very* lightly on out-skirting hyper sensitive areas, but certainly to increase pressure and area as much as you can bear. Thanks
