- Recipe: adventuresineverydaycooking.co... Beer bread is such an easy thing to make from scratch, you'll wonder why you EVER bought a packaged mix. And, when you throw in a handful of mix-ins, you have something no other mix can give you!
Beer Bread
Ingredients using self-rising :
3 cups self-rising flour
1 bottle of room temperature beer 12oz
¼ cup honey (or sugar)
¼ cup of melted butter, brushed over top
*optional add in ideas: herbs, cinnamon/sugar, cheese, chocolate chips
Ingredients using all-purpose flour :
3 cups all-purpose flour, wheat flour, etc
3 tsps baking powder
1 teaspoon of salt
1 bottle of room temperature beer 12oz
¼ cup honey (or sugar)
¼ cup of melted butter, brushed over top
*optional add in ideas: herbs, cinnamon/sugar, cheese, chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease your loaf pan.
Mix dry ingredients, honey, optional mix-ins, and beer together in a bowl. Pour into the prepared loaf pan and brush with melted butter.
Bake for 45-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean or internal temp is 200°F/93°C. Allow to cool on a wire rack before cutting.
Air Fryer Directions:
Find a pan that fits in your air fryer (this is not a small feet, make sure it's oven safe).
Pour your bread batter into your prepared pan.
Set the air fryer to 330°F and air fry for anywhere from 12 to 45 minutes depending on how much batter you use (don't use too much or it won't cook all the way through). It's done when you insert a skewer and it comes out clean.
Substitute Directions:
You can substitute beer with any carbonated soda.

What i love is ONION BREAD
These look SO delicious! I have to try them. Cheers!
I make loafs of bread using self rising flour and milk. I made one with cinnamon and sugar and I didn’t know if it was done? So I put in garlic powder in my dough to make a garlic bread too. I love the idea of making it beer and cheese and butter too.
great directions.
You just kicked me um...to the delish zone! Always ready to taste new dishes! Yummy, yum! Doing the air fryer way.
Waving to you from south Georgia-land of best Peaches, boiled Peanuts, & Vidalia onions!
;
Oh mercy!! Another, I am going to have to try!! Great video!!
I'm drooling 🤤
Just watching your video and looking for help to try a beer bread for my 1st time. I was initially just thinking of the beer flavor in a bread. But now watching you adding flavors, I thought of something I've had here berore from our shops in Ontario. There is a tasty strawberry beer called fruuli I believe. I think it is an import. Might be a nice one to try out for a strawberry beer bread. I know the beer on its own is very nice.
That sounds amazing!!
Apples with the apple pie spice👍🏻
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!
Those are real nice new ideas for beer bread. On mine I put marachino cheries and some of the juice and flip an egg ....well doesnt last 5 minutes...
Oh yum!
You're so much fun to watch! What size are your pans, please?
They are similar to the USA Pans at 5.25x3x2.25. amzn.to/3GZOFKV
New to your channel just watched the air fryer video and I was curious on all the other loafs you said you made. That pepperoni bread I will be making. For that cinnamon one is a simple powder sugar glaze good enough?
Welcome to the channel! :) I think a simple powder sugar glaze would be amazing. Add a splash of vanilla and you've got a vanilla glaze!
Can you tell me where to buy your plunger measuring cup
Luv it im in Australia
Thanks bread looks amazing

What do you think about baking it in the DAF? I hate heating up my kitchen and was thinking I would need to lower the temp to 350 and bake for 15-20 mins, Thoughts? They all look great 😍
Sounds like an adventure to me... stay tuned ;) LOL Maybe I'll do a mid release video ;)
@@AdventuresinEverydayCooking That would be awesome!
I made it today... the results here... hmm. Well, video coming. It working... mostly. LOL But there will be a learning curve!
How about bacon instead pepperoni? Yum!
Yum!!!
questions as an occasional baker,(and the price of flour is going to go way up ) is there a date to use info, that the baking powder is no good in self rising flour?
That is a great question. 1 year in refrigerator. 2 years in freezer. 3-6 months at room temp.
How did you prepare your pans please?
My pans are nonstick so I believe I did nothing. BUT I would totally butter them. More butter is better right?
Did I miss something? I didn't see where she said how many cups of self rising flour to use.
Good afternoon! All my recipes are linked in the info, but it was 3 cups :)
Are you using a 12 oz bottle of beer? I use a 2% Rainier beer and add jalapeños and cheddar cheese, sharp cheddar and scallions. Oh so good. I make dinner rolls too. One loaf equals 9-12 rolls or small muffins.
That is a great question, I don't even know how many ounces are in a bottle of bear (runs to check)....yes 12oz LOL
What are those little paper things in the pans?
Those were my markers. In case my mix-ins dropped too low and I couldn't tell what was what LOL
Can I use Bisquick?
You know, I bet you could. I'd be willing to try it! Would probably be much more buttery!
Can this be a sandwich bread?
It's a little dense for sandwich bread, but it does work!
