@@GeekPsychology Well, when I'm in a good place (that zen state), and when my Ni is in control, I can use Fe to pick up what my clients are feeling, usually what is going on underneath what they are verbally facially expressing or often what they are not even aware, and I use Ti to decide the focus and direction of the session, and I usually "know" it the moment I see them. Ti also helps to confirm what Fe is sensing from the client more logically. Also, Ti, when it's behaving, helps me to distinguish what is my own feeling and what is not. When I'm under stress or anxious, Ti often takes over and I become a big overthinking mess, getting swallowed up in the swamp of emotions, and I can no longer tell which is mine and which is not.
Appreciate your focus on our unconscious cognitive functions in this presentation. If you do more presentations on the mirror shadow functions it would be helpful if you point out order of functions (1-8) in the cognitive stack. In your INFJ case , the Fe is function 2 (Auxiliary) and Ti is function 3 (Tertiary). So your end-of-life councilor is using his mid-stack attributes. For an INFP (which I am one) our Fe and Ti are our unconscious shadow functions 5 & 8. I think this orients the listener if you bring this out at beginning of this type of presentation.
If only I knew I was gonna talk about that... lol I’ve been trying to have just a basic outline of the main point to cover. I’m trying to get better at speaking more fluidly about it.
Geek Psychology You’re doing a great job Matt! Enjoying your presentation method. Don’t change your convincing “from the heart” delivery. Just suggesting similar theme setting “open” (graphic & oral) for each presentation to unify and bolster channel’s overall purpose (using role play to understand and improve personality) in viewers’ minds. Once we learn the mechanics of MBTI and RPG, I think we just want to find out how to apply this knowledge to improve ourselves. You’re doing that. Thx!
Would a similar dynamic exist between Te wanting to keep everyone on the same page (providing clarity) to complete a task/goal and Fi wanting to voice their personal values if/when they conflict with the Te approach?
Thx for the video! Being an INFJ and a therapist, balancing Fe and Ti has always been my challenge.
What’s it like for you?

I kept thinking "Exactly!" all the way through this video. I'm an INTP, feeling validated. :)
Great! Glad to hear. Ti makes sense logically to me, but I always feel like I’m missing something when I talk about it. :)
A faulty sensor in the system can cause serious damage if left unchecked for a long time, supervision required... 🤣
🤣🤣🤣💯👌

Who is your mentor?
I hate feeling like I’m on the ledge (hypothetically speaking) and can’t see where to go next but HELLLLL.
