2024 Mayoral Elections: What do the public think?

The mayoral elections on May 2nd will see over a third of England's voters head to the polls, including in many of the large cities outside London, and in some places to elect a mayor for the first time.
Ahead of the elections, Centre for Cities is polling nine of the regions that will be heading to the polls to find out what the public think - do people know they have an elected Mayor, will they vote, and what's driving their decisions?
