I like how professionals at anything are a lot less dispassionate about the topic than amateurs. starting out, I noticed that a lot of more seasoned amateurs felt really passionate about wrapping your hands one way or another, but this professional man is way more chill. I like what he said, "There's lots of ways to do it. As long as you're protecting your knuckles, your handbones and your wrists, it's okay. Every fighter is different". I love that.
Man, boxing may be "el deporte de los pobres", but the sheer amount of details, work, and discipline that goes in to it, makes it complex as hell. A team work from the boxer to the cutman. Respect for Coach Jeff and El Yuyu.
Literally has it down to a science… I appreciate ANYBODY that takes their job seriously like this!!! Another thing I caught is when he said “the commission will be watching several people wrapping, then you get their attention when you ready from them to inspect” explains why some many people cheat with the gloves
El Yuyu and Coach Jeff. What a team! Glad to see the big guy behind the madness. Looks like you caught him off guard for a second with that punch toward the face around 20:38 or so. Great reaction a half second late. Coach Jeff said and I quote " Woa Whoa". Hilarious. Great videos George.
This helped out greatly! I am fine tuning my wrapping skills, as I am now on the other side of the ring. Instead of competing, I am now in the corner giving the instructions instead of taking them. I can wrap my hands (at least) three different ways effectively, but for some reason still have an issue wrapping fighters hands. This was informative and detailed to the point. Thank you for putting this instructional out.
Insightful... there's a lot of padding to protect the hand and also padding against the opponent. Discovered this video to research the controversial topic of "stacking". My understanding of stacking is alternating padding and tape, I'm failing to see how that gives a fighter an advantage and is dangerous to the opponent. If anything is would make the fitting more snug and less loose. Can anyone explain?
You’ll have to play around with it to get the right fitting. If you’re using 10-12oz gloves you may have to make a smaller knuckle pad other than that it should be fine! Thanks 🥊
Just curious to know what your opinion is on Wilder accusing Fury of cheating by removing padding from his gloves - Do you think it’s still possible for boxers or trainers to tamper with boxing gloves or hand wraps to gain an advantage? I hope not, but I really wouldn’t know.
I haven’t really kept up with Fury-Wilder drama. Is it possible to tamper with gloves and wraps of course it is but I think it’s difficult to get away with nowadays because you have inspectors and your opponents team watching in the locker room as you wrap hands and tie gloves
@@ElYuyuBoxing I appreciate you sharing your thoughts on this. I also think it would basically have to be a perfect scenario or “crime”, and we all know detailed plans never really work out exactly how we designed them to be.
i was planning to leave after 2 or 3 min in but it was just way too ASMR... relaxing voice and way of talking, and background noise. Idk something's VERY ASMR.
At this point, if you need this much padding under a massive ass pad of a glove, why are you even fighting? Ive boxed for the longest time and have never used wraps and did just fine and have never hurt my hand. If your that pansy, just stay out the ring🤷🏼♂️
This is the Bob Ross of boxing, very satisfying and good tips.

Came for the wrapping, stayed for the moustache
I'm just impressed on how his left hand was able to capture all of it throughout the process.
Best hand wrapping video on UA-cam. Very informative.

One of the finest hand wrapping I’ve seen.

Such a great video and explanation. The bond of a fighter and a trainer is special. RIP to my coach Robert Ross.
Perfect video, I was hoping there was something like this but that was great! Thank you!
Wow, this was so insightful. I learned so much about wrapping. Also learned that Jeff is a great teacher
If Jeff was doing this for me I'd be asleep in minutes, but in a good way. Is this the dude version of getting your nails done? Very relaxing. 🥊💅
Good job Jeff and Yuyu 👍🏻🥊

Thank you an your coach for this informative video. 👍
What a beautiful wrap 🥊
Wow, damn i didn't realise this much wrap is required lol
this looked like overkill to me but I've never wrapped so maybe its cause of that.
Great video 💪🏼

Stacking is putting a layer of tape underneath the layer of gauze
Good job 👍
El yuyu & Jeffrey Wayne 💯🥊
Looks good
Can i use reg. Hand wraps with the tape?
So with if i did these hand wraps they would fit in a 10oz or 12oz glove and it wouldn’t feel uncomfortable? Please answer lol and nice vids you got

El Yuyu Thanks a lot man have a good safe weekend 💪🏾
16 oz gloves are my training gloves
Is this for all sizes or how do you wrap smaller hands & if the boxer fights in 8 oz gloves ?
Now if you want to use that wrap multiple times u would just cut down the middle on the bottom of the wrap and retape just the wrist part?
Available now on Amazon new release
Can i just use big 16oz for a quick 15-30 minute bag workout?
How can I get a hold of that gauze,
Came for the wrapping, stayed to design a workout program for the trainers heavy breathing.
Look like the guy in myth busters
Yo I like that coach
Thanks!
You can like him. But he is loved but many!!!
How much time begote a fight we have to do that.
Can we use clothing material
How will tje blood glow in these tight wraps
can these wraps be cut down the wrist and reused ?
Do I have to wrap like that even for training? Or I can make a simple one without a pad? ??
You dont need pad but you can use a sponge. Old school mexican style
you can just use velcro wraps for training

Can u please teach me sir am in Uganda
Why don’t pro boxers use the wraps were it has the loop and Velcro during fights?
because those are TOO THICK and too short . Those are amateur and training wraps
Where can I find that flexible gauze ?
Ringside or Title
Amazon $20 for 16pk leroy premium mexican
8:00 so that’s the fluffy part
4:52
Bags are moving at the same time
Didn't know this much pading goes into it
Similar to Naoya Inoue hand wrap, but why the loser had a complaint about this type of wrapping?
Your not worried about blood circulation to the hands
How much Krill does this guy eat at night?
i was planning to leave after 2 or 3 min in but it was just way too ASMR... relaxing voice and way of talking, and background noise. Idk something's VERY ASMR.
Peooer way if wrapping. NEVER wrap between the fingers Only tape. Amateurs use the " in between the fingers way"
I’m not trying to be disrespectful but is it me or he blinks ALOT

You've never boxed then
Pass forward video to 6:31 , so much talking
