Sure can, I seen one of the Charlo bros do that. He was showing that in one of their videos. You just have to tape the wrist each time because that’s where you’ll cut it

This wrap looks good but the more u punch the harder the gauze gets causing your gloves to feel like a brick

How do I make the knuckle padding
Hey, you can use gauze !
What I meant was how many times do I go around my knuckles with the gauze to make the padding
@@hashayyanez6380 if its 5 by 10m gauze then you can do 35 to 50 or a whole roll depending on your hand size and comfort and depending on the weight of the glove.
16oz can use 1 roll
14 also a roll or wrap it 50 times round you knuckle area
12 oz may be 35 to 50 depending on hand size.

It doesnt need to be tight, tape finishes the job for you.

Jack Ridge Circulation. You dont want circulation problems when still on gauze. When on tape its fixable and you can still make it compact with the tape.

The tape makes it snug and as you punch the gauze tightens up (compacts). This is why you do not start too tight. I've had a friend quit midway through sparring because his hands were wrapped too tight by another fighter with no experience in wrapping hands. He lost circulation (and subsequently feeling) in his left hand and we had to cut the wraps off and have them done by our coach.
