Stumbled on this by accident. Didn't realize Campbell's voice was so smooth and agile. Wonderful, free flowing performances. They obviously all respect each other's talents. Goosebumps
I came to this video because I'm a great fan of Glen Campbell's voice as well as Miss Warwick - just wanted to hear them together - certainly not disappointed

Check out Glen Campbell's version of MacArthur Park. The man could sing - a tender, textured and powerful tenor voice. Oh, and he's one of the greatest guitar players of all time too.
I am always disappointed when people talk about Bacharach songs and never mention the guy who wrote the lyrics Hal David, These songs would be nothing without the words!!!!!
I think we can recreate such simple performances again without all the over introspection/analysis. Just knowing that the magic is there and we, the audience, are able to appreciate it. This is truly beautiful and heart warming 🙏💖✨
Jimmy Webb, Burt Bacharach, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Michel Legrand, Henry Mancini, Gershwin, Hammerstein, Jerome Kerne, Lennon/McCartney, Bernie Taupin, Roger Nichols/Paul Williams, etc etc- so much talent and good taste came to fruition in those golden days . Makes you want to cry when you look at today's 'music' and try to compare.
I remember watching the Glen Campbell show as a child. My aunt was absolutely crazy about Glen Campbell and Tom Jones. She never missed an episode. This was a treat watch pure talent on that stage singing without computerized synthesizer. Dionne Warwick, Burt Bacharach and Hal David were one of music's greatest teams. My goodness! What a helluva catalog of music!
Ms Lavender: Your words reminded me of when I was a child as well. I was always facinated by Glen Cambells talent. I grew up watching the Glen Campbell Show in Belfast Northern Ireland and he finished a show one night playing the bagpipes and he was brilliant on them also. He always carried himself with the most incredable confidence, but never in an arrogant way whatsoever!
I'm impressed! Dionne Warwick sings Glen Campbell's songs, and vice versa. The best part is, how well they performed. One of the best that I've watched.
God I wish I would have grown up in this era, real talent, real music with actual musical instruments, I love this performance, and Dionne is just incomparable
