Survive won't make it. If they're successful with the remake, I reckon they'll make a whole new MGS game. Hopefully one right after the manhatten incident based on Raiden 👀

MGS4 seems inevitable. What I want in the Master Collections are Ghost Babel and Portable Ops. Those games deserve to be remembered, especially Portable Ops
You'd think so but I honestly don't know if KONAMI is willing to dedicate themselves to getting it off of the PS3 and running well on modern platforms. I agree, though. Both Ghost Babel and Portable Ops are great games.
Peace Walker and portable ops really would benefit if they added a few features that they couldn’t put in the original games and make the models and graphics a little nicer and maybe big boss would even enjoy blinking

A MGS4 remaster would be so awesome. I replayed it recently on a PS3 emulator, and whenever I got 60fps it was a sight to behold. The game chugs on a real PS3, and it deserves better.
Yup! That's all it really needs. The game still holds up REALLY well graphically and the camera/aiming is a bit more in line with most modern games (at least more so than the original MGS trilogy). Just need to upscale the graphics as much as possible whilst also managing to keep a steady 60FPS at the very least and we're golden.
My dream line up for MGS vol.2: 3 main title games: * Metal Gear Solid 4: Gun of the Patriots * Metal Gear Sold: Peace Walker * Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes Additional Spin-offs: * Metal Gear Solid: Ghost Babel * Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops and + Most likely what we would get for MGS Master Collection Vol 3: Main titles: * Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes * Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Additional Spin-offs content: * Metal Gear Solid: Survive * Metal Gear Rising: Revengence * Metal Gear Acid * Metal Gear Acid 2
PO isn't a spinoff though since it follows big boss directly between 3 and PW and it sticks to the classic formula of previous games stealth. Twin snakes should be treated as bonus content since it's a remaster/remake of the first game which were already getting
Snake's Revenge was included in Vol 1 which is great. I hope that Vol 2 is Twin Snakes, Guns of the Patriots and Portable Ops and you'll get Ghost Babel if you buy the whole collection Vol 3 can be Peace Walker, Rising and Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain with both Acid games thrown in if you buy the whole collection.
@@kobra6660 So is Snake's revenge, but yet here we are. Regardless how bad they are, a game is a game at the end of the day. So all the Metal Gear games are gonna be ported over regardless.
good point, if they put snakes revenge as a bonus in vol1, they could add anything to vol2. however i would have expected twin snakes to be released in vol1 with mgs1
As a MGS fan and PS3 owner who bought it for MGS4, I agree. MGS4 should be re-released or preferably remastered for all platforms. Video Games today are mainstream and clusters of them released today are just filler until the next release. The MG brand is amazing and I want it thriving along with Resident Evil and Final Fantasy.
Indeed, the brand definitely deserves to be preserved. They're amazing games. Same with RE, I think only the original versions of RE2 and RE3 Nemesis are not available on modern consoles
I really like the story of Portable Ops, but the refined controls of Peace Walker would help it greatly - also, the Fulton System! Portable Ops needs Something like that, retroactively They won't do that, of course - but the literal dragging of people to the truck was so tedious - even if you spaced out teammates in your sneaking group
I hope not. The point of these collections is to make every game available in the definitive way possible (minus the fact that they're using the Bluepoint remasters of 2 & 3 which are notably worse). If they want to change anything in these games, they can do a remake of them like they're doing with MGS3. Otherwise, just give us all of this series exactly as the creator intended. The last thing we need is MORE developers doing what Capcom and Sony do where they give us a game that is in NO WAY the original intention, and does not fill that void, but because they made that remake, they do not care in the slightest to give us the original versions now.
I hope you continue to make MGS content. Most UA-camrs who make mgs content seem to get a bunch of views and subscribers so please continue. Also your voice is surprisingly pleasant and not annoying lol. Thanks.
Imo Master Collection V 2 should have the following: MGS4 MGS Peace Walker MGS 5 Definitive edition PS5 Upgrade (Ground Zero and Phantom Pain) MGS Revengence(I need)
No offense, man but, at this point, why are we all still saying things like, _"THIS or THAT game should be in the collection..."?_ It's 2023. At this point, *_EVERY METAL GEAR_* related game should be included in the collcection. Why are we willing to settle for "this or that" when we should be getting *_ALL_* of them? I agree with the games you listed but, it reminds me of when the _'Metal Gear Solid Legacy'_ disc was released. I remember saying it should include _'Portable Ops'_ as well as both _'AC!D'_ games and I remember everyone losing their minds *_(GASP!),_* going on about how _'P-P-Portable Ops isn't really canon a-a-and neither are the AC!D games!!!'...._ Well, fast forward to the present and _'Snake's Revenge'_ is getting included in Vol. 1 and guess what? *_IT WAS NEVER CANON EITHER._* I personally don't and never had *_ANY_* interest in _'Metal Gear: Survive'_ and yet, I *_STILL_* want it to be included in the collection, be it in Vol. 3 or 4 or whatever. Along with _'Metal Gear Rising: Revengance'_ and the _'AC!D',_ _'Portable Ops',_ and _'MGS: Ghost Babel'_ Gameboy title. I'm sure there are people that enjoyed _'Survive'_ and I know there are lots of others that enjoyed the other games I have mentioned. With game preservation being a serious issue nowadays and the rising cost of games, we should all as fans of this series and gamers, be asking for the most "bang for our buck", not just getting or asking for "bits and pieces" of our beloved titles and series. Again, why settle on *_"this"_* game or *_"that"_* game? At this point, we should all be asking for *_ALL_* the games in the series - after all, isn't that what a "Collection" is and should be???
No offense taken at all. I appreciate you taking the time to type this all out and for sharing your opinion with me. I completely agree with the sentiment of wanting/expecting every single METAL GEAR game complied in these Master Collection volumes. I'm forced to use this specific wording because; 1. It makes for a more interesting and compelling title/video over making a video and naming it "We should get every metal gear game ever." 2. Given KONAMI's recent track record these past few years - it would be a pipedream to assume we're getting every single game in the series as part of Vol.2, Vol. 3, so on and so forth. I am actually surprised that the amount of effort KONAMI is putting into Vol.1 is at the level that it is. I honestly expected the HD Collection 2.0 and we're getting so much more than that on every single platform. I do fully agree with you in regard to MG fans. So many people bitch about certain games being included like they're forced to play them. I would LOVE a collection with AC!D 1 & 2 as well as every other spinoff.
Same here. Even though it's not my favorite I do think it deserves to be played by more people. It's a shame that it's been stuck on the PS3 for so long.
The First Step in getting the game to be opened up to be playable on a PC is to have the source code on hand (which hopefully they do). This game does have a 360 camera and would really benefit from the mouse in this. I do hope Konami can figure out how to open the game up to add in Keyboard and Mouse, Graphic Settings, etc. At this point its hard to say what they are going to do, but they need to really try to work on getting the game to run on other systems natively and not emulated.
My guess is we get MGS4, Portable Ops, Peace Walker, and Rising. I don’t really care if they put all of 5 on there since they are readily available on last gen. Twin Snakes and Ghost Babel would be the most surprising inclusions
peace walker and portable ops(despite being non-canon) according to kojima still needs to be on the collection. its still a complete game. along with MGS ACID it should be at vol.2 intact with online coop play as it was on the HD COLLECTION.
This is my prediction for Volume 2: Metal Gear Solid 4 Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker Metal Gear Rising (all DLC included and localize the Hebidamashii DLC)
Maybe, MGS4, MGSV, and MGR? I could see Peace Walker on there too. I probably won’t play MGSV again because it’s soooooo long lmao but I’m really down for MGS4 on vol. 2, because I’ve never played it because I didn’t wanna use an emulator and I didn’t wanna buy a ps3. I really would want to play MGS4. So yeah we need it
I think no matter how you cut it they will have to remake 4 from the ground up because, as you touched on, it was developed using playstation 3 core optimization that even emulators can’t perfectly replicate. but I don’t think vol 2 sells without some version of 4 that’s been redone. that being said, Id also love to see PW with updated boss fights (that don’t drag in single player), graphics and controls (more so the gunplay). I think it’s one of the most slept on MGS games just because of its graphics, but the level design, cqc, and base building are great.
Vol.2 without MGS4 is definitely going to be a hard sell for sure. If that does end up being the case, we absolutely need an update from KONAMI stating that they're working on it OR that it can't be done and we're never getting an MGS4 re-release. PEACE WALKER is a top 3 METAL GEAR game for me personally so I absolutely would love to see updates to PW.
I feel exactly the same about Peace Walker (although it might be because it was my personal first MGS). I have bought it twice, on PSP and Xbox and played it on two different emulators and if it was included in Volume 2, I'd commit the cardinal sin and pre-order it.
Guns of the Patriots should have been included in the first Master Collection as it's even more important to include than MGS1. As you stated, GOTP is the only game in the series that's never been re-released. At least in the case of the original, there's a PC port and Twin Snakes so while I appreciate them showing it a rare bit of love, they should have considered replacing Snake Eater in the collection with Guns of the Patriots since we're getting Delta Snake Eater anyway
I say hold off on those that you can already get like peace walker, rising vengeance, you can get those digital/backwards compatible or on disc but lets focus on those that you can't...mgs 4, mgs twin snakes, etc. Lets get those in
I echo your opinion on Peace Walker, Boss. I also cannot quite specify why I love it so much, but I do. Side note... One of my favourite things to do is just listen to a certain set of cassette tapes you receive at the end of the story.
Best way i can describe where PO stand in cannon the event happened it just one of mission Big Boss went on after Snake Eater and it would be cool if they remade PO as DLC for Delta as what basically PO is for MGS3 as for MGS4 i wouldn't mind If they remake MGS4 if they can't manage to bring it in vol 2 and for MGSV they probably going drop PS5/Xbox series X\S version
For sentimental reasons I would like them to add Twin Snakes, since I loved that game because it was the first game in the saga that I played and the one that made me fall in love with MGS, leaving aside the ridiculous action scenes, I still have enormous affection for it.
Twin Snakes is a fun time for sure! The game gets a really bad rap from most MGS fans but I think it’s great. It would be great to see it on a modern platform in some capacity. I think the Switch desperately needs some METAL GEAR on it.
This is THE game I want to be included in MGS Collection VL2. If not, it will be so disappointing. It's one of my favorite MGS games. Also, I don't have my PS3 anymore and it's a lame not being able to replay it
when you look at all of the content in Vol.1 they kinda need to include everything but MGS5 (GZ+TTP, or TDE) in Vol.2 or they're gonna have a very lop-sided collection. MGS4 Peace Walker Portable Ops Portable Ops+ AC!D ACID2 Ghost Bable
If it has 4, peacewalker, and portable ops they can have my money and theyll be printing that green too. Lotsa folks i know would love to have 4 again. My ps3 yellow lighted a long time ago.
My prediction is that Vol 2 will be PW/4/V and Vol.3 will be Portable Ops/Rising/Ac!d 1&2. I hate to say it but I feel like if we were getting Twin Snakes it would have been in Vol 1
I see Konami making a remaster instead and asking $50-60 for how a massive undertaking working with MGS4 again would be. Now in Vol.2 it's pretty much a given we're going to see PW, a nearly impossible one (and kinda redundant because of MGS1 in Vol.1) would be Twin Snakes and the last one i say MGR:R considering it's stuck on the 7th gen.
I mean, I don’t know how many people would buy a MGS4 remaster for that much but I certainly would, haha. I don’t know if they’ll ever touch Twin Snakes again but I hope so!
MGS4 and PO are both the only two locked to one console (their original console) and neither consoles are very available. The biggest reason these games NEED to be in Volume 2 is because they are the next games you are meant to play after 3 (the last game in Volume 1), so if they aren't in that one, Volume 2 is a collection I'd be forced to recommend to new players to not touch at all until we do get MGS4 and PO (or at least just MGS4). Also, if they don't get the gun names license, I'm refusing to get this game until modders fix this. The whole point of these collections is that we are supposed to get the games AS THEY WERE INTENDED. If they're going to change anything, they don't want my money. Konami isn't some small studio, they can pay for the licenses. And MGS4 is not as hard to port as plenty of people like to pretend, so it better be in Volume 2. It's a requirement for Volume 2.
Yo dude, good video. I don't just think it's that Konami don't wanna renew the licenses for the products. I bet Apple don't want their old out of date tech being shown in a new release of something. It's just not good for their brand.
Appreciate you watching, man! That’s a very good point I didn’t even think about. Either way, KONAMI definitely have their work cut out for them. Honestly, I’d be very surprised if MGS4 ever gets ported but I’m remaining hopeful as stupid as that may be.
@@PerfectStealth Yeah man same, I am with you on it as well. IT won't be easy at all, it will be a complete nightmare. But if they are a company that care, they will make the effort!
I don't think they can port it sadly, the shader format they used for this game was completely inhouse, and getting it to work on PC or any other console could be very difficult, if it wasn't it would have been ported a long time ago. - If they wanted to be nice to longtime fans, they'd provide pc gamers with an ability to cloud stream the game somehow even if it's sub-optimal
well considering there is a 360 build of the game that supposedly runs really well and the fact that naughty dog ported the uncharted series and last of us from ps3 to ps4, i dont see mgs4 being held back bc of the source code
@@Boofener That's Naughty Dog though, I consider Naughty Dog quite a lot better than Konami. Who do they have left? (It's not important really just a joke), but seriously, I think it's a no brainer that they of all companies keep their old material around for ports later. Not so sure about Konami though...
It would not not shock me if this got split into three volumes. Vol 2: portable ops, portable ops +, acid 1 and 2, mgs4, rising revengence, ghost babble. Vol 3: peace walker, ground zeroes, phantom pain, survive.
Vol 2 will be 4 peace walker revengance and maybe portable ops and acid 1 or 2 coming and twin snakes thats never happening after how much of a disaster it was for most people
Not a popular opinion, but MGS4 is one of my favourite MGS games and would absolutely LOVE to see it released on the PS5. I gave up on the idea that PS3 games can be ported to other consoles so I decided to just buy a used PS3, just for MGS4. Also, people who start the MGS franchise with 4? Eeeeesh
I think MGS4 is loved by a lot of people! Even if it's not my favorite I enjoy replaying it from time to time and it's close to my favorite when it comes to how it controls. I definitely think it is needed on modern platforms. if I were KONAMI, that would be my main focus - getting MGS4 off of the PS3. And yes, I have heard from quite a few people (including close friends) that MGS4 was what got them into the series, haha.
i literally just want mgs5 to be rereleased so i can paly it from scratch without all my existing mgo upgrades and resources. also mgs4 will almost definitely be on there, leaks suggest PW MGS4 GZ and MGS5 will be included.
haha,,, i really wish that would happen... my prediction: vol 2: MGS1: Twin snakes, MGS2 subsistence, MGS 3: subsistence.... and everyone will eat it up!!!!! hahaha from Konami!!!!!! NO MgS 4 and Chapter 51 for you!!!! we just want to keep on re-re-re-re-releasing these games!!!
It's a great game that looks amazing even by today's standards. They just need to get it off of the PS3 and running at a constant framerate on modern platforms.
The thing I heard and I’m not absolutely certain that it’s true is that when they were making mgs4 they made it to be ps3 exclusive and made it without thinking about being able to port it to new consoles and they may never port the original game to newer consoles but I’m not sure if that includes remasters or remakes what ever you prefer to call them
Vol 1 had MGS 1, 2, 3, MG1 & 2 as well as MG NES & Snakes Revenge. Vol 2 should have MGS Twin Snakes, Ghost Babel, Portable Ops, Acid and Peace walker. Vol 3 Should have MGS4, MGR, 5GZ & TPP, Snatcher and Policenauts.
They not only need to include it in Vol 2, but they should also unlock the framerate so it runs at 60fps, which was the original target, but the PS3 just couldn't produce that type of performance. 60fps MGS4 is giving the fans the chance to play the game the "proper way" for the first time ever.
@@PerfectStealth - The game is definitely playable for a 30 fps game. Some parts drop to the 20fps mark, but since most people stealth their way, they get through these busy sections without actually having to aim and shoot, so the dips aren't that costly. But I was merely referring to the 2005 TGS trailer where it said "This is no FPS, it's MGS". Before that reveal, it mentioned "FPS - forget pre-rendered stuff", indicating that their trailer was, in fact, an in-game capture, and it was running at a silky smooth 60fps. Unfortunately, their engine was running the specs they thought the PS3 was going to have based on what was briefed to them, but Hideo's team wasn't yet able to use actual PS3 dev kits when they made that trailer. So once they did work on it, a lot of concessions were made, particularly on performance. It's a mighty achievement that the final version looked pretty close to that TGS trailer. But I always feel that the TGS trailer running at 60fps was the original vision that players never got to experience because of the limits of the PS3. Hence, I'm really looking forward to experiencing MGS4 at 60fps with the PS5, just like that TGS trailer: ua-cam.com/video/ys9y_QBMovY/v-deo.html
I completely missed out on this entire franchise growing up, (being born in 99 and kept Nintendo only) So I would love to be able to legally play MGS 4!
I really hope they do a good job on these Master Collections mostly for people like you. This franchise is way too important to not have easily accessible on modern platforms.
Ok, buddy you're atleast 23 now, so nobody's stopping you from spending 70 bucks on a used ps3 and another 15 to get a copy of MGS4. go ahead and behold....Guns of the Patriots!
I feel like the metal gear solid master collection volume 2 is going to have Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops, Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, Metal Gear Acid 1 and Acid 2.
Konami recognizes Revengeance only to make more money from it.. but they don't have the honor to bring a Sequel. They should hold the Guns of Patriots to upscale THE Experience for the Fans a love letter cause they didn't put effort with the Ports for PC .. like come on $59.99 for a "Master Collection" recycled HD collection without effort to function correctly and bring the setting needed for the consumers. Metal Gear Touch I paid for it and this cash grab Pachinko vice people.. they took it out. For Guns of Patriots they should do what COD Modern Warfare 2 Remastered did.., adding depth to details and adding more textures it felt like a different game but the essence of the game stills there.
Another game stuck on the PS3 for me is Grand Theft Auto IV. I have been wanting to play this one for a while. Oh, but I can play other PS3 games on RPCS3 on the steamdeck.
MGS4 is not a concern. A PS3 is $60 on OfferUp and a copy is of the game is $10. What we really need is the Twin Snakes. It is the title imprisoned on the oldest console.
Not everyone can free up space for a PS3. Besides unlike TTS MGS4 GOTP is literally the last canonical MG game in the series, where as you can literally play the superior OG MGS1 on Vol. 1 if you want to experience that game. It's clear which of the two should be more important to include in Vol. 2.
@@Xxandrew01 No, it’s not clear. MGS4 is $10. Twin Snakes is $95. GameCube doesn’t have HDMI output and the Wavebird is $75. It’s very expensive to play Twin Snakes and the Twin Snake discs are highly susceptible to disc rot. It is very cheap and easy to pick up a PS3 with MGS 4. It’s much more difficult and expensive to pick up a GameCube with a copy of Twin Snakes and a Wavebird and an HDMI adapter.
I really thought you gonna mention THE TWIN SNAKES... Imagine playing MGS3, TTS, MGS2 then MGS4 in a collection. No Pixelations. Just plain 3D with HD Textures and 60 fps.
That’s a good collection for sure. If MGS4 isn’t on it, it’ll probably be Portable Ops, Peace Walker and Rising. Not the worst but I’d still be a bit disappointed with no MGS4.
@@PerfectStealth I think out of all of them 4 will be the No brainer because 4 is still ps3 exclusive meaning unless you have a ps3 you can’t play the game. I think out of all of them 4 is the one that should DEFINITELY be on there.
I really wonder if they will be able to port 4, GZ and TPP to Switch. Those games all ran on PS3, so maybe they work from the older versions. I could see that having an impact on which games are included in Volume 2 (and 3?)
The way that game was made, it was specifically for the ps3’s architecture. It’s the reason why emulating the game on pc is still pretty difficult, without a high end pc and a certain build of emulator. Even then there are many bugs in the emulation. Who knows when we will get volume 2, my guess would be AFTER (IF not around the same time as) GTA 6.
Like isometric top down view almost? That's a cool idea for sure. I'd like to see KONAMI revisit those games. I think there is a lot of potential there.
4 months later and 13hrs to go for Vol 1. launch, MGS4 HAS TO BE INCLUDED SINCE THAT IS THE LITERAL END FOR MGS SAGA. It would be stupid to not include that since MG1&2, MGS1&2 include Solid Snake and MGS4 is the finale of that story.
I personally predict that volume 2 will consist of MGS 4, Peace Walker and Rising Revengence

Just need to upscale the graphics as much as possible whilst also managing to keep a steady 60FPS at the very least and we're golden.
My dream line up for MGS vol.2:
3 main title games:
* Metal Gear Solid 4: Gun of the Patriots
* Metal Gear Sold: Peace Walker
* Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes
Additional Spin-offs:
* Metal Gear Solid: Ghost Babel
* Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops and +
Most likely what we would get for MGS Master Collection Vol 3:
Main titles:
* Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes
* Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
Additional Spin-offs content:
* Metal Gear Solid: Survive
* Metal Gear Rising: Revengence
* Metal Gear Acid
* Metal Gear Acid 2
PO isn't a spinoff though since it follows big boss directly between 3 and PW and it sticks to the classic formula of previous games stealth.
Twin snakes should be treated as bonus content since it's a remaster/remake of the first game which were already getting
Perfect!!!
Snake's Revenge was included in Vol 1 which is great.
I hope that Vol 2 is Twin Snakes, Guns of the Patriots and Portable Ops and you'll get Ghost Babel if you buy the whole collection
Vol 3 can be Peace Walker, Rising and Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain with both Acid games thrown in if you buy the whole collection.
Twin snakes never happening that game is never talked about and disliked just as bad as acid
@@kobra6660 So is Snake's revenge, but yet here we are. Regardless how bad they are, a game is a game at the end of the day. So all the Metal Gear games are gonna be ported over regardless.
@retroman5432 i don't see acid or twin snakes being ported what they need to do is bring back the online mode that they had
good point, if they put snakes revenge as a bonus in vol1, they could add anything to vol2.
however i would have expected twin snakes to be released in vol1 with mgs1
Nah, we need Peace Walker in Vol.2.
MGS 4, Portable Ops, Peace Walker, Rising.
And twin snakes ;-;
MGS4 was definitely a PS3 seller back when it released. I think if this collection and the remake do well, MG will thrive for the foreseeable future.
@@PerfectStealth They should add Ghost Babel and Portable Ops as well :)
Portable Ops needs Something like that, retroactively
They won't do that, of course - but the literal dragging of people to the truck was so tedious - even if you spaced out teammates in your sneaking group
Thanks.
Thank you! That’s very nice of you to say. I’m definitely in it for the long haul.
Imo Master Collection V 2 should have the following:
MGS4
MGS Peace Walker
MGS 5 Definitive edition PS5 Upgrade (Ground Zero and Phantom Pain)
MGS Revengence(I need)
No offense, man but, at this point, why are we all still saying things like, _"THIS or THAT game should be in the collection..."?_ It's 2023. At this point, *_EVERY METAL GEAR_* related game should be included in the collcection. Why are we willing to settle for "this or that" when we should be getting *_ALL_* of them?
I agree with the games you listed but, it reminds me of when the _'Metal Gear Solid Legacy'_ disc was released. I remember saying it should include _'Portable Ops'_ as well as both _'AC!D'_ games and I remember everyone losing their minds *_(GASP!),_* going on about how _'P-P-Portable Ops isn't really canon a-a-and neither are the AC!D games!!!'...._
Well, fast forward to the present and _'Snake's Revenge'_ is getting included in Vol.
I completely agree with the sentiment of wanting/expecting every single METAL GEAR game complied in these Master Collection volumes. I'm forced to use this specific wording because;
1. It makes for a more interesting and compelling title/video over making a video and naming it "We should get every metal gear game ever."
I keep a PS3 just to play MGS4. Such a good game. Those boss fights ;-)
Some of the best in the franchise!
Honestly ihope MGS 4 get brought over to modern hardware. I want to see it on PS5 Xbox, Switch and Steam so that people can play this amazing game.
Vol 1: MG1 & 2, MGS1,2,3
Vol 2 : MGS4, Peace Walker, Portable Ops
Vol 3: MGSV, Rising, Twin Snakes, Ghost Babel.
Mgs4, acid one and two, alongside portable opps and peace walker are must haves on vol2
My guess is we get MGS4, Portable Ops, Peace Walker, and Rising. I don’t really care if they put all of 5 on there since they are readily available on last gen. Twin Snakes and Ghost Babel would be the most surprising inclusions
i want 4 100% on volume 2 and i also wish they let portable ops story in there too but thats just me
peace walker and portable ops(despite being non-canon) according to kojima still needs to be on the collection. its still a complete game. along with MGS ACID it should be at vol.2 intact with online coop play as it was on the HD COLLECTION.
This is my prediction for Volume 2:
Metal Gear Solid 4
Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
Metal Gear Rising (all DLC included and localize the Hebidamashii DLC)
I think Peace Walker and Rising are definitely safe bets. I would honestly be very surprised if we ended up getting MGS4.
Regarding Vol.2, all I care about is Peace Walker and MGS 4. If these are in Vol.2 I'll be a happy man.
Same here to be honest.
My wishlist is mgs4, peace walker, portable ops, both acid games, and twin snakes
I feel exactly the same about Peace Walker (although it might be because it was my personal first MGS). I have bought it twice, on PSP and Xbox and played it on two different emulators and if it was included in Volume 2, I'd commit the cardinal sin and pre-order it.
I'm looking forward to playing through PW with viewers when it's re-released!
Personally all I want is MGS4 and MGRR. i'll be happy with whatever else they give us.
I have a soft spot for Metal Gear AC!D. I really hope we get those again.
I say hold off on those that you can already get like peace walker, rising vengeance, you can get those digital/backwards compatible or on disc but lets focus on those that you can't...mgs 4, mgs twin snakes, etc. Lets get those in
And we should have Portable Ops and Portable Ops +
I echo your opinion on Peace Walker, Boss. I also cannot quite specify why I love it so much, but I do.
Side note... One of my favourite things to do is just listen to a certain set of cassette tapes you receive at the end of the story.
I just question, why they added date mission,it is just weired....
Vol 2 should have MGS4,5, Peace Walker, and Twin Snakes.
I don’t think so on Twin Snakes, it should of never been made
4 dont get enough credit
It's not my favorite METAL GEAR game but it is a very important one and a game that fans need on modern consoles.
Make sure the bug them and ask them a lot about information about Metal Gear Solid 4 coming out in the collection
This is THE game I want to be included in MGS Collection VL2. If not, it will be so disappointing. It's one of my favorite MGS games. Also, I don't have my PS3 anymore and it's a lame not being able to replay it
Mgs4, Peace Walker, and V probably. Id like a remaster of Revengeance too, for modern systems, that game was dope
when you look at all of the content in Vol.1 they kinda need to include everything but MGS5 (GZ+TTP, or TDE) in Vol.2 or they're gonna have a very lop-sided collection.
MGS4
Peace Walker
Portable Ops
Portable Ops+
AC!D
ACID2
Ghost Bable
Damnnn Stealth, back at it again video another video
Gotta do it to em
It’d be cool if they made like a directors cut version of mgsv with the cut content being added.
That would actually be great!
If it has 4, peacewalker, and portable ops they can have my money and theyll be printing that green too. Lotsa folks i know would love to have 4 again. My ps3 yellow lighted a long time ago.
Since on vol 1 we got snakes revenge for vol 2 we could get portable ops and ive never played it would be a good add to have with pw mgs4 mgs rising
Ive played every one except 4 very exited to relive this series. I really want to play 4
Hopefully it's included in the Master Collection Vol.2!
My prediction is that Vol 2 will be PW/4/V and Vol.3 will be Portable Ops/Rising/Ac!d 1&2.
I hate to say it but I feel like if we were getting Twin Snakes it would have been in Vol 1
I can’t believe it’s been 15 years since MGS4 dropped… Realizing this makes ME feel like Old Snake. lol
MGS4 arriving on Multiplatforms would be historical.
@@zion6680 give me a firm handshake father
I recantly went back and played MGS4 and i still holds up well today although i agree i would love a 60fps updated graphics version on ps5
It's a great game that looks amazing even by today's standards. They just need to get it off of the PS3 and running at a constant framerate on modern platforms.
As much as I'm hoping for MGS4, I'm also hoping both PO and GB are included. And maybe Ac!D ²
I hope the first two MSX games get the Delta remake treatment
Peace walker will definitely be on vol.2
The thing I heard and I’m not absolutely certain that it’s true is that when they were making mgs4 they made it to be ps3 exclusive and made it without thinking about being able to port it to new consoles and they may never port the original game to newer consoles but I’m not sure if that includes remasters or remakes what ever you prefer to call them
this is false as there was a 360 build that never released bc ps3 had blu ray while xbox 360 didnt so it would have been way more discs
@@Boofener like I said I’m not certain
Vol 1 had
MGS 1, 2, 3, MG1 & 2 as well as MG NES & Snakes Revenge.
Vol 2 should have
MGS Twin Snakes, Ghost Babel, Portable Ops, Acid and Peace walker.
Vol 3
Should have MGS4, MGR, 5GZ & TPP, Snatcher and Policenauts.
They not only need to include it in Vol 2, but they should also unlock the framerate so it runs at 60fps, which was the original target, but the PS3 just couldn't produce that type of performance. 60fps MGS4 is giving the fans the chance to play the game the "proper way" for the first time ever.
It performs pretty well on the PS3 all things considered. Just a shame it does dip in frames during certain portions of the game.
Hence, I'm really looking forward to experiencing MGS4 at 60fps with the PS5, just like that TGS trailer: ua-cam.com/video/ys9y_QBMovY/v-deo.html
mgs 2 and 3 will run at 60, like in the hd collection, i imagine 4 will also run at 60 in vol2.
fingers crossed for unlocked framerate on pc tho
I want the twin snakes to be in vol 2 sooo bad
I would love an hd remake like 2&3 of TTS in volume 2 but im skeptical 😢
I completely missed out on this entire franchise growing up, (being born in 99 and kept Nintendo only) So I would love to be able to legally play MGS 4!
I really hope they do a good job on these Master Collections mostly for people like you. This franchise is way too important to not have easily accessible on modern platforms.
@@PerfectStealth Amen to that. I'd hate to have a whole generation miss out on Metal Gear.
Ok, buddy you're atleast 23 now, so nobody's stopping you from spending 70 bucks on a used ps3 and another 15 to get a copy of MGS4.
go ahead and behold....Guns of the Patriots!
This vid makes me wanna install MGS4 again on my ps3 and start a new play through
I wish vol 2 will have Mgs4,portable ops, peace walker, V and i know it wont but i hope it somehow also includes twin snakes.
Tbh it should be mgs4,peace walker, twin snakes and port ops as a bonus like snakes revenge was
I feel like the metal gear solid master collection volume 2 is going to have Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops, Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, Metal Gear Acid 1 and Acid 2.
For Guns of Patriots they should do what COD Modern Warfare 2 Remastered did.., adding depth to details and adding more textures it felt like a different game but the essence of the game stills there.
we gotta have MGS4, Twin Snakes and Peace Walker + Revengeance or Portable ops as bonus
Another game stuck on the PS3 for me is Grand Theft Auto IV. I have been wanting to play this one for a while.
Oh, but I can play other PS3 games on RPCS3 on the steamdeck.
God i hope they put this on vol.2 this is the only metal gear game ive not played and its killing me
MGS4 is not a concern.
Hands up if you want to see Sunny cooking eggs 🍳 ✋️
Vol 2 should be, Metal Gear Portable, Metal Gear Ac!d 1 and 2, and Peace Walker
I love metal gear solid 4 it’s very epic and has to be on the master collection vol 2
I think the most obvious options will be 1. 4 Guns of the Patriots 2. peace walker and 3. Rising: Revengance
War, has changed
Bro speaking facts🙏
Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes for VOL 2 please Konami!
I think its gonna be mgs4 peacewalker and mgs5 with ground zeroes and maybe the cut content like on the disk version
based on certain rumors vol 2 will be Portable Ops, Peace Walker, and Rising.
Remaster for all platforms
That’s the dream!
They need to add Metal Gear Solid 4 and Twin Snakes.
I started with metal gear 2 on nes I found in a garage sale in 92
I would love the 2 Original games metal gear and metal gear solid snake to be more like the ps1 metal gear solid I would like to play it that way
Like isometric top down view almost? That's a cool idea for sure. I'd like to see KONAMI revisit those games. I think there is a lot of potential there.
The question is whether or not we get a Vol 2 and a Vol 3 or if just a Vol 2
In my opinion, it would be perfect if it was mgs4, mgrr and ground zeros
4 months later and 13hrs to go for Vol 1. launch, MGS4 HAS TO BE INCLUDED SINCE THAT IS THE LITERAL END FOR MGS SAGA. It would be stupid to not include that since MG1&2, MGS1&2 include Solid Snake and MGS4 is the finale of that story.
