Bring back the Supersonics!
Ellis was my favorite player back in the day. His jump shot was deadly and he always had that look on his face like he was about to destroy someone! Also forgot how dominant The X-Man was!!!
13:13 "GET THAT SHIT OUTTA HERE"
And, on that day, a young Carmelo Anthony was inspired...
Melo: "Get the fuck outta here!"
Why did they discontinue the Seattle Supersonics in the first place? That franchise had so much prestige.
El Verona because the owner was so greedy .
El Verona cuz they had no money
El Verona they wanted a new stadium but the city didn’t make one
El Verona owner didn’t want to pay for a new stadium
The nba arena was out dated and the Starbucks owner who owned the sonics wanted bills to pay for the arena but no one wanted that so he gave up the team to clay bennett and clay bennett was supposed to keep the sonics in seattle and he also wanted the new arena to be payed by bills but he decided to move to okc....
Seattle Supersonics >>>>> Oklahoma City Thunder
BRING BACK THE SONICS
Bring Sonics back to Seattle, expansion team or moving clippers ethier is fine
Who will be the 2nd team that'll be added along with Seattle in the next expansion?
The same day the Berlin Wall fell!
Legendary game
This was 32 years ago, at this point NBA had been around 30 something years but still looks like they was playing in stone age compared to current NBA. Nothing flashy, just simple efficient basketball, even though boring at times. PG coming down the court with his back to the basket until he finds an open man, shooters had one job to just catch and shoot
Bird and Magic had been making flashy plays in the league for a decade by this point; MJ had been doing so for 5 years. Shooters had to play defense too!
But it certainly was a different game back then.
Bring back the Sonics!!!!
GanG Exposing Bronsexuals since June 19th 2016 GanG Honestly, move the Nets to Seattle at this point. No one cares about them in Brooklyn anyway
Exactly my city needs hoops
Jeremy Hayes Move the clippers. Sharing a stadium between 2 teams doesnt work for me
we don't want the clippers or the nets. the only trash we allow here is the mariners
William Le Lol
Ive been waiting for this video for 1 year
Robertson is a BEAST
the court looks smaller on this era, means average NBA players are taller back in the day. And they all look athletic.
OG's were shooting the lights out 🔥🔥🔥. Teams don't fight to win like this anymore.
Too bad Paul Mokeski has left Milwaukee by this time. Otherwise with this many minutes of basketball we would've seen a lot of Paul Mokeski. I want to see a lot of Paul Mokeski.
legendary game
Would love more of these
Alvin Robertson was incredible. His blocks in all the overtimes were mind bending.
That would be cool to get the Sonics back lmao. Much better than OKC.
why you gotta hate on okc
Zach Rezakhany
OKC is a great team because PG is on there
Lmao he's being sarcastic. No way was supersonic as good as okc the past 10 years but they did win a title... one time
For some reason I feel like old basketball is all fake idek y
Been awhile since I've seen unanimous approval on UA-cam
A friend and I were at this game. We walked out of the Bradley Center and into a blizzard but it wasn’t enough to stop us from getting some Taco Bell on the way home. I still have my ticket stub and the box score from the paper the next day.
i saw your comment about this on another video about really long games in sports history
@@obscuredood 😃 It was a game to remember that’s for sure
That was so cool!
They had to be exhausted.
Wow
hey Brooklyn Nets go to Seattle
Lol nice

*WOWSA*
Damn, almost 6 overtimes
Six Overtime is No Longer That Declared a Forfeited Walk Over Co Winner is a Draw of Tied.
No spacing whatsoever. Interesting era
Wakka wakka Bacl then, they're were real defense played, hard fouls hand checking, etc. Plus big men dominated back then. In this era, it's all about shooting threes which sucks.
Brandon S Lol don't watch it and STFU bitch
And why is there 2 three point lines? Wtf
Imback 2killu College team probably share a stadium. The inside line is the three point line in college.
Brandon S ahh aightt
They did. Marquette shared with them. You can see Marquette's name on the baseline on the one end in fact.
There truly we no losers in this game... Well, apart from the Supersonics.
Why not wait for the 30th anniversary ?
01-29-18.
Seattle Supersonics who?
