Aaron Gordon’s dunk over mascot sitting in the air is the greatest dunk of all time IMO. It had difficulty, creativity, air time and precision.
Honestly agree. If it was not the mascot it would be 100x better tbh. Other than that it’s like, the best dunk ever 🤣
Flip Arrachi Derrick took care of business too
Fat OAF Definitely not AG dunked over someone who’s 7’5 and got a 47 those judges were tripping

True
I think I'm honestly more impressed with Spud Webb than anyone else. Anyone who is 6'10" can jump, dunk, and make it flashy. Webb's dunking required insane precision timing. He's barely getting up there. But the fact that he is at 5'7" and delivering those dunks is insanely impressive to me.
The one he did where it wouldn't have been a travel. That is the best one. Where he just casually dribbles up and does that nasty one handed 360 8:08. So damned impressive. Nate's one over Spud was insane as well. 6:11
For sure
He has a 40 inch vertical wich is insaneee
yeah, Nate Robinson dunking over Spud was also nice!
Dat boi cra-z
Vince’s elbow dunk still had the greatest and most unique reaction of all time. All other 50 dunks had the crowd cheering. That one silenced the building

Yep like everybody witnessed a massacre ✊🏼😲{ooh
Lies again? Serie A Leader
I was screaming at home, I couldn't believe what I saw
It's insane because it looks like a standard one-handed dunk. He didn't alley oop it, two hand it, didn't spin, didn't put it through his legs, nothing particularly impressive until you realize that he didn't *just* dunk the ball, he put his WHOLE FOREARM in the net with it and hung there. Just about everyone in the NBA can dunk the ball one-handed. Only someone with Carter's creativity and hops could pull off what he did.
Aaron Gordon dunk between the legs is arguably the greatest dunk ever
No single dunk can beat Vince's reverse 360. The greatest dunker and the greatest dunk ever, not arguable.
@@siyichen9149 nope. its been outdone by zack lavine. better. more degree of difficulty. off the bounce.

I think when Aaron Gordon got cheated twice, players just decided not to waste their time on this contest. I mean both times it should have been tie. The man has more 50 pt dunks in the history of this competition and NO trophy. NBA can't afford 2 trophies when it's so close?
Spud Webb i think is one of the most underrated dunkers EVER. I mean look at his height and he did an alley oop and finished it off himself. Legend

@@marieange5824 tf.
He ain't underrated lol. He actually won the contest.
However, Jordan is so overrated. Winning contest for same old shitty dunks over n over again.
@@patricialucero1767 He wasn't considered the GOAT in the 80's when he was winning those dunk contests. So that argument in null & void.
Wilt, kareem, Dr J, Magic, Bird, Big O were considered better than him at that time even when he had his first 3 peat.
Talking about Spud Webb, I get it, his non dunk contest career wasn't as lucrative as some of the other past winners. So that could be a contributing factor to the perceived notion that he is underrated. His height can't be held against him, coz he always had those hops.
If u ask me whom do I consider as underrated - it's without a doubt - Dwight Howard. He has had the most creative dunks of all time and still no one considers him in the league of - Vince Carter, Jason Richardson, Dominique, Jordan, Lavine, Gordon. Its a travesty.
And yet I play NBA 2K, and I do a 360 windmill catch off the glass from a teammate as I jump over four other guys and two motorcycles and I score a 36. That's some straight up discrimination.

How the dunk has evolved in just one video. Went from being amazed by windmills to now seeing people do 360 windmills in games.
Exactly. What was once spectacular has now become athletically humdrum. Even Jordan's vintage all-star dunks did not match Vince's all-time, next-level video-game-come-to-life dunks. That performance at the all-star game he did ruined me for life. I'm bored by nearly everybody else. Since that time, every NBA dunk contest has paled and failed in comparison.

Facts, and he was THE player in GS waaaay before they became a dominant team
i always thought derozan was very underappreciated in his dunk contests.. J-Rich was amazing
11:54
Vince Carter is unquestionably the greatest dunker of all time. He marked the beginning of the modern dunk contest. He had the perfect combination of athleticism, power, finesse. creativity, and swagger. All the other dunkers in this video have some of these but not all. People like to bring up Jason Richardson, Zach Lavine, and Aaron Gordon as they have all performed dunks that are more difficult from a technical standpoint, but they didn't have the same flair that VC had. If we were just considering dunk contests then I would admit that VC only barely edges out and all these guys would be in the same conversation.
However, if you also consider in-game dunks, then VC blows EVERYONE out of the water and it's not even close.
C'mon now. You seriously gonna compare Dominique Top 100 vs Vince Carter Top 100? I get it was the 80s and there is less footage to work with but it's obvious that Vince's repertoire of dunks is much larger. To be fair, in the 80s, the stuff that Nique was doing was considered very creative at the time. It's why I give Zach Lavine and Aaron Gordon credit for having the most difficult dunks we've yet seen at the NBA level (obviously dedicated pro dunkers like Flight Bros guys have come up with crazier stuff). Was Nique the best power dunker of all time? Absolutely. But as an overall package, he's just not as impressive as Vince.
Actually, Richardson was a better version of Carter - in all possible aspects except for jumping ability in which they were equal.
Carter is the best dunker of all time and has made an ingame dunk that never been repeatet.
That dunk there where he jump over a defender and dunk hard on him. best contest mj against nique and gordon against lavine by far the best contest. Gordon got robbed for sure he deserved 1 title the same way got robbed ibaka in his appearence in the contest. The worst contest was east vs west.
wuhanclan Maybe someone is better than him but, of course VC is the greatest dunker of all time IN NBA, maybe not in the entire world (before and now)
i agree with you, Vince Carter is the best dunker of all time. everybody has swagger, thats really a personal opinion, but i think what he has is a combo of flexibility and abdominal and back muscle strength. his dunk had the most in degrees from whole body extension converting whole body flexion, gives you sensation of the power.
When my son was about 11 years old he entered a Jaycee Relay Race. He’d never ran track before and didn’t know everybody wore shorts. He came in jeans, to everyone’s amusement. He ran the last leg for his team - and came away the fastest runner of the day, and made up considerable distance to win. This video made me think of that day. How I wish I had been able to see it, instead of only hear and read about it. I was a single mom and had to work. My son was an amazing athlete. ❤️

RageCage1701 It is true jordan was an amazing athlete and did great dunks. It s just that after the first free throw line dunk he repeated the dunk multiple times and still got 50’s. I believe a 50 should only be awarded to insane, groundbreaking dunks like the first free throw

That Aaron Gordon dunk is awfully nice, but you do get a boost from jumping over someone like that (all the professional dunkers say so, which is why they're always jumping over someone). Personally, the dunk I like the most is Gordon's 360 scoop with the Mail-man cock-back with his other hand while the mascot was spinning. Also, Oladipo's dunk was sick! McGee's 2-ball, 2-basket dunk is way underrated as well!

@soldier2009 Wrong. The guy who dunks alone is always more impressive than the one who is jumping over people, grabbing ball from their heads. You can always see the latter pushing down on the lower guy getting that extra air time. 2016 was judged perfectly.
So the guy that copied the dunk gets a 50? So a guy that does a overrated near FT line windmill dunk was enough to tie with a guy who cleared a guy's head while sitting in mid air? Lavine was sponsored by Drake, Drake is from Toronto, the all star game was in Toronto. Gordon was robbed
soldier2009 how is a free throw line windmill dunk overrated? You sound like a hater right now.
MJ is a legend, and Zach Lavine's Dunks were phenomenal...!!!
6:54
13:45 one of the greatest "final" dunks ever. That catch is sooo far behind his head.

Listen spudd webb is only 5'7" and had like 3 dunks on here..... that's ridiculous.... he was amazing
Dion Santana 5'7 is just listed stats just like KD list himself 6'9 no way we can confirm. But spud is crazy to be under 6 feet and do those dunks.
meat loaf we can confirm by seeing him taller then most centers lol
the best reaction ever was almost zero reaction to VC's elbow in the rim dunk. no one stood up, they were all processing what just happened.
VC gives goosebumps
I always love spud webb’s dunks

10:03 “you ain’t gonna make it!!!”😂😂😂
INSTANT REGRET!
Aaron Gordon got robbed in 2016
But we got 4 extra dunks, though - I say it was worth it XD
Chuy Garza zack lavine copied one of AG's dunks and he pretty much did the same dunk twice
tell me where lavine is living, I'm gonna drop nukes
Dude I commented the same thing the first 10 minutes the video came out....I guess some people get lucky with likes
in the last round tho, his dunk was blunt
Vince Carter's 360 reverse windmill dunk... brooooo I can watch that all day long. Over and over and over. It's over!
Jordans slow motion replay dunks are something else just something different.
