Hey thank you I'm a super small streamer and I thought this would be a good place to start building up from I know its not what yall are doing and I'm doing it for fun but I wish all yall the greatest success in life
I have watched several videos on this topic that were stuffed with filler, and all said the same things without giving any reasoning, background, detail, or breakdown of the why. This has been the best video I have found by far. And you took what could potentially be a mass of boring information overload, and made it entertaining and educational. Definitely made a subscriber out of me. Thank you! So helpful.
This is some sincerely amazing information mate! I have truly learned some marketing gems from watching this video. My only hangup is some of the edits where you repeat part of the statement. It is possible that this was done on purpose to emphasize an important bit of information but the way it was executed makes it seem (to me) that it could've been a mistake. NEVERTHELESS this is still an amazing video with outstanding value. Thank you!
This is really valuable for me, best video on the subject I've found yet. thank you! I dig your ninja vibe, and how you throw humor in the mix. Great content and style! Thanks!!
Amazing content Tim! It's early days for me but I'm starting to feel much more confident in Digital Marketing after watching a few of your videos. Cheers man! :)
If you're limited to 20 questions to put together a survey questionnaire for a chosen target audience, but the idea is for a broad marketplace, how exactly is one supposed to begin?? I've already chosen where they live, age, gender, have done journey mapping, figured out where they are... started a questionnaire it got to 400 questions and its too many questions.... if the customer doesnt know that they want what I want to do, how am I supposed to make sure they want it?
I’m a woodworker, making medium sized furniture and garden furniture, item design ect I have been doing anything Iv Ben asked to try see what’s popular, profitable , enjoyable but I can decide so I’m struggling to find what market to aim for
I know this is a 2 year old comment but oh well, I'm still learn about marketing myself but, try doing high value Custom pieces, your target audience is the person that loves hosting. You can literally hear that person telling the same story over and over again about how they came across your work and "oh this is a custom piece, one of one...this was specially made for me" its not the age or location we market to, its mindset Find the people with that mindset and market to them through the art of storytelling...
From a marketing sociological perspective, there is a continuing influence between the targeted audience (specific consumer group) and companies. The targeted audience is the one who determines the shape of the brand of the business , and this one who reshapes the tastes of the targeted audience.
I am setting up a online business but struggling how to find and market to my target audience and who it is as essentially the business is suited to anyone. Is it possible to launch the business as a MVP and just get it up and running and out there then find/figure out the target audience after the launch based on who uses the service?
Very great tips. Especially the example for dental ad. But how do you know the answers to these question you said? How do I know the age of the audience? Is it just asking them directly or any other way?
yep, still dont have a clue. i still choose everyone older than 15 for my target audience. i made a comic-graphic novel and in it the subject matter is focused on questions regarding freedom. im pretty sure anyone that thinks and asks questions to this level and about this subject is my target audience. obviously they have to like to read. so anyone that likes to read books thats older than 15 and lives in a "civilized" society governed by a corrupt group of people. what do you think?
I know that based off of my past insights that my target is women and the age is 18-34 but I’m not sure what specific interests to target. I was doing influencer marketing and social marketing and made some sales but I don’t know my niche.
If you already know and have access to an audience, it usually makes sense to design a product for them. The business graveyard is littered with companies that started product first and went hunting for an audience that either 1) didn't exist 2) couldn't be reached profitably 3) weren't in enough pain/didn't see enough gain to justify purchasing
What are you selling? Typically, finding a target customer first (or a group that has a particular problem) and then working out what to sell to them is the fastest way to get traction. It's possible to do it the other way around, but it is really important to try and find a customer group that will particularly value your solution and a message you can tell around it that motivates them to purchase.
@@ExposureNinja I sell Artisan Soap, bath bombs, lotion bars, wax melts candles etc… I have an Etsy conversion rate of 6.9% and do better then 76% of Etsy sellers as of last week. All without a targeted customer. My customers vary so widely that it’s almost impossible to narrow it down, nor do I think it would be beneficial.
Thank you for the great video. I love connecting audiences with brands. I have a few videos on my channel as well. There are several ways we can all listen to our audiences better and stay aligned with our ideal audiences. I can't stop talking about it.
Hello Tim, I have a question, please what will happen if I will post 20 blog posts per day, with good quality content, is google will consider that as spam and what is the maximum number of blog posts I can blog per day?
Although I pushed through, I nearly bailed out in the first 3 seconds. Feedback: don't add in little fake laughs to 'feel more personable' It comes across fake. The rest was a bit more natural. (Vocal warps and edits were a bit odd, but speaker came across real) Thanks for the advice anyway.
Not a bad video, but the title is misleading. You explained how to understand target audience, not how to figure out WHO is the target audience. Please correct me if I am wrong
I'm not sure how true that is, seeing as this video has 147,000 views. I'd love to know what "value" you think is missing from this? What would you suggest?
Um… step one finding your target audience is to go on facebook and find out what your target audiences likes an dislikes are. Does anybody see a flaw in that strategy? Next video.
I hope you enjoyed the video! *What does **_your_** ideal customer look like?*
Wishing the absolute best to whoever sees this. You will overcome your tribulations and become successful!
Wishing you the same, matey. Thanks.
We wish the same for you!!

Every video I’ve seen has been concise, clear, actionable, and useable. Honestly the best layout of UA-cam Training series you could ask for.

This is an absolute mountain of stuff to do to get to know your audience. Holy moly.
It's worth it though...
Thank you, young Elton John.
Haha, come on! This dude is good looking. Sorry, Elton John. ;-)
Elton John? I've had Bear Grills and Eddie Redmayne, but Elton John?!
Best 10 minutes I spent so far today.
Great to hear it Joshua!
Excellent video, well done. I think you did a great job explaining each step with just the right amount of detail. A lot of value in 15 min

What if the women are making the purchase from a male's (boyfriend or husband's) credit card? Would this affect the conversion % showing in analytics?

Thank you for this Ninja 🥷
If I don't have any customers, how am I supposed to stalk them on FB, or anywhere, for that matter?
Can I have animated Disney videos as not made for kids if it has cigarettes or if it has music over it? Should that be a general audience?
That'd be not for kids, if I know my UA-cam rules
OK question, how am I supposed to stalk my target customer on Facebook if I don’t know who my target customer is?

Is the older the site better for seo than new one?
Not necessarily, but older does generally mean that there's been more time to earn links, and links = rankings.

Typically, most businesses know who they're targeting with their products or services, but not much about them. These questions help to solve that.

Yeah I guess so. But maybe cos the subject is complex and there are no bullet point steps.
