Teoscar resigning, Kikè as well, then they get Sasaki. Tempted to say Tanner Scott but it’s not in the dodgers nature to give 4 years to relievers. But who knows maybe they change their rules a bit for Scott.
Been a Dodger fan for 40+ years. I hope you're right, they sign all three. Kiké needs to come back as well. In all my years as a Dodger fan, this is the most exciting era. The Dodger organization wasn't run very well before this ownership group came in. They're now competitive every year. I appreciate that. They may not win the World Series every year, but even when they come up short, it's not for lack of trying from the front office. That's about all you can ask.
4:30 there is another possibility to that timing. Originally Darvish had recruited Ohtani, Sasaki and Yamamoto to all join him in San Diego. They all talk about how they decided they wanted to play together during that tournament. But then Peter Siedler died a month prior to free agency. The new ownership no longer wanted to go through with Peter siedler’s plan of trading Soto and signing Ohtani and Yamamoto. It’s well known that Darvish was absolutely furious during that time. Because he was promised that they would be coming. And this year we saw an intense hatred in him towards the Dodgers that we had never seen before. After the Yamamoto signing Darvish was pushing for him to be posted during that time and even encouraged Japanese fans to put pressure on the ownership to allow him to come to the USA. Which is something that backfired and caused Sasaki a lot of issues in Japan this season with the media and the fans. It’s not known if Sasaki‘s announcement timing correlated with Ohtani and Yamamoto coming to the Dodgers because he was working behind the scenes with them or if he was working behind the scenes with Darvish to join the Padres. But one thing is for sure he has a deal in place with one of those two teams already
It’ll be hard for Sasaki to turn the Dodgers down when Shohei and Yamamoto join the meetings. They already have a relationship from WBC and they’ll sell him on building a dynasty together.
Tanner Scott, Roki Sasaki, Teoscar Hernandez, and Kiki Hernandez if there is a 4th. They may pass on Teoscar if they think they Young Guns can come up. That is why they are on hold out for fewer years.
ohtani, glasnow, yamamoto, snell, and sasaki, are all number 1's. add may, gonsolin, kershaw and you trot out the greatest starting pitchers in history. plus the best bullpen in the game and powerhouse offense will get you a threepeat or more. i'll take the dodgers vs the field for a ring in '25
HOW TF was 2020 not a "real championship"? Didn't every team have the same opportunity to win? Sure the season was short but the the offseason wasn't. They actually had to win MORE GAMES.
Hey Dan! How come you keep removing my post where I shared Sasaki's agent's presser indicating that Sasaki might go to the Padres? Wait until I share that with SF Giants Sportstalk live! I lost respect for you today!
I really think the Dodgers will have new ownership prior to the 2030 season. These are investment guys. They had a plan. First phase was bringing in talent even if it meant going over budget. Phase 2 was building up the farm system. Phase 3 was hitting championship level. Phase 4 is bringing in high priced talent again to maximize the winning window while deferring much of the payments in order to build the value of the franchise. Phase 5 is selling high when the team has 3 to 5 Championships in the 20's and the new owners get to pay the Ohtani deferred salary as well as all the rest. They also want to get out before that 25 year TV deal gets closer to ending.
Agreed, right? In the NBA, they sadly put a stop to what the Warriors were doing. The MLB is allowing the Dodgers to build a dominant team without a salary cap and allowing players to defer money. This is BS The Dodgers can build a complete team while most the teams in the MLB can barely put together a formidable everyday lineup and starting rotation.
Back to back baby !
They’re gonna get Sasaki for sure, that’s a no brainer.
Dodgers are definitely not done. The word down here is they will signing Sasaki at least and Teoscar is likely too. Go Dodgers!
Norcal Sports Network 👍
Yes
Why?
Sasaki seems poised to sign with the Padres
Norcal Sports Network: The BEST channel for round the clock Dodgers news!
That says a lot about the fan base and Dodgers content that you need to get your information from a Giants content channel.

As a Dodgers fan, I love this video.
Glad you liked it!
You know it's true Dan, this team is never done...DODGERS 2025...
True
No team is ever done. This is not unique to the Dodgers
@tocadadj2951 yeah but the Dodgers do it better than any other team.
Hey coach
Good video
They have a deep rotation! I keep forgetting they also have Bobby Miller! He’s young and has the potential to be a stud!
They’re done
Dodgers need teo. Conforto is a bum
Yeah but Conforto is signed. Hes getting paid 17 million. No matter what he's playing

This is what's wrong with MLB that the richest team can build a super team.
Lol, Mets...
All the MLB owners are rich. The only difference is instead putting money back into their teams. They put in their pockets.
