No body wanted to put Mookie Betts? Turned the Dodgers into a championship caliber team. Dodgers don’t win in 2020 WS with out him. Moved from the outfield to 2B and SS when the team needed him most and was the most consistent hitter this post season run. He’s arguable number 1 most impactful Dodger behind Kershaw since 2000.
Top 5 impact players and no Shohei or Mookie? I can understand no Shohei because it’s an easy response, but Mookie has been the most impactful player since coming in 2020. Star presence, championship experience, great fielder, and great bat
No Shohei? No Mookie? Their impact is so much bigger. I’m beginning to see why everyone likes DMac, Dodgers Nation, Locked on Dodgers better. A lot better.
Can't believe you two are airing a Dodgers podcast on December 26th! I'm very happy about that and I commend both of you for doing that. Thanks for thinking of the fans!
I'm new to this podcast. Really love your well informed content and takes. Not just regurgitating takes from national headlines like some other pods that tease inside info for clickbait. Keep up the good work folks. I'll continue to tune in.
Right? Not including Mookie is inexcusable. And I could understand not including Ohtani if they think the move is too recent to judge, but including Edman, Kopech and Flaherty instead is mindboggling.
How the hell is Ohtani not number 1? The guy got both Tyler Glasnow and Yamamoto to sign with the Dodgers, his contract gave them room to sign even more players, and his performance carried them to win the division. It’s a no-brainer. The Dodgers haven’t won a full-season World Series since the 80s, Ohtani signs with them, and they win it his first year.
Reliever Iron Mike Marshall, Reggie Smith, Dusty Baker, Betts, Ohtani, and Gibson would make my list of players acquired by the Dodgers who were not drafted or originally signed by the team. Marshall makes the list as the first reliever to ever win the Cy Young. Everyone else played key roles in winning the chip.
This is awful…making up rules as they go. They both mention players signed, but then say list is off trades. Naming players brought in by Colletti, while Mookie (trade) was Friedman and since they mentioned FA’s…Ohtani
Never thought id see the year where the Dodgers had better pitching than hitting. If you think they’ll win the Series as they stand, you’re wrong. They need at least 2 big bats. Even if you sign Teo, you’ll still need another big bat. Muncy hitting low 200’s won’t cut it.
Talk about “greedy”. 😂 First of all, how many teams have a Big 3 like Betts, Freeman, and Ohtani. You then have Teoscar which you’re assuming the Dodgers will indeed sign. So he’s like scratching the surface of making the Big 3 and Big 4. Will Smith and Max Muncy are 20+ home run guys. Conforto hit 20 home runs last year with the Giants and hit 33 hrs one season. Pages and Outman capable of 20+ home runs. Edman and Lux round out the group and they hit more for average. Lux hit over .300 in the second half of the season and can easily be a more consistent .275 hitter. Don’t really know what/who you expect the Dodgers to sign at this point.
@ funny you bring that up…if you think this lineup is something we’ve never seen, you’re wrong. The Rockies Yankees A’s Mariners Have had a way better lineup than the dodgers have. Just an example: Rockies Larry Walker .370 with 40 HR 130 RBI Galarraga .319 39 HR 133 RBI Bichette .312 24 HR 114 RBI Vinny Castilla .300 40 HR 110 RBI Burks .275 30 HR 75 RBI All in the same season and team 🤯
@@showcasegoldsoftball3166 and yet the Rockies didn’t win a WS with that line up. 🤡😂🤣 I never said anything about “all time” either. Name a team now with a better line up.

Yeah Mookie gave this team CPR and I love every bit of it

No Mookie???! Wow!!!!!’
Chase Utley was INCREDIBLE on the Dodgers! I agree with Alanna 100% regarding the amazing Chase Utley.
Fyi...Chase Utley is still a Dodgers employee! He is still influencing the Dodgers!
No Shohei? No Mookie?
Their impact is so much bigger.
I’m beginning to see why everyone likes
DMac, Dodgers Nation, Locked on Dodgers better. A lot better.
Try watching Dodger Blue if you haven't yet. I think it's the most balanced Dodgers podcast around.

I agree with Alanna about the Utley slide, just clean hard baseball. #TheresNoCryingInBaseball

When chris taylor stole that homer from adonis
Have they not heard of Mookie Betts? Shohei Ohtani?

This podcast a joke..
Utley was fantastic. Definitely in the top 5
Also, Andrew Toles. I loved that guy's enthusiasm and sincerity

Hi, (5) Edmund (4) Muncy (3) Otani (2) Betts (1) Freeman are the most impactful trades for Andrew Freedman in my opinion
Mannywood
Corey needs to put up about 5 years of elite performance for the HOF. He gets hurt too often.
Trades and not FA's ? Darvish,J.Turner,ManRam,Utley,and Mookie.
Bah Humbug!

Seager’s defense sucks. Not elite. He continuously made errors while with the Dodgers.
F@@k Santa Claus, Christmas bs & Andrew Freeman 💪🏿🌎💪🏿
No TeOcar Hernandez!!! Dodgers are Bloody Screwed if TeOcar leaves 🍃 😳 😢 😔 😕 😬 🍃
Seager is a trader ! I’ll never root for that guy!!
You mean traitor ?

Muncy is one of the best hitters on the team.
