I just rented a ‘25 RR Velar and loved it! At first I missed having a knob for basic functions like volume and vent, but the screen is very user friendly and I got used to it very quickly. The ride was smooth and comfortable. It’s not quite in my budget to actually purchase one, but I’d love to!
Ben, I get that as an automotive journalist you HAVE to review the cars the manufacturers offer you. If not they might not call on you again. I get it. However, keep in mind that your viewers who might go out and buy one of these, may not like you much once they discover the reliability factor of these overprices metals tubs. JLR is probably going out of business soon.....In Europe, they are having problem after problem after problem. From reliability (from a few days old!!) to how easily they are stolen, to the un-insurable factor, to repairs that take months. Yeah.......wouldn't touch one with a ten foot pole. JLR products right now are the Poster Children for "Cheap". It's sad. But hey, it's life. Cheers
