I remember being at an auto show, and touching a brand new, 260k USD Range Rover SV's door handle, and it rattled and was loose. Look man, they are very luxurious and desirable cars but there is reasons to hate on them. Quality has been very bad for a lot of the models

can't even extend your legs in the back. either you're tall or there is no backseat leg room.
I'm 5.7, not a lot of leg room to be honest but keep in mind this is not the long wheel base version.

When I first lived in Dubai in the early 90s I saw so many crashes where Range Rovers were virtually unscathed compared with demolished Toyotas etc. Well worth the expense! 😎
Yet Toyotas never go to get fixed and the Range Rover are always at the workshop 🤣

@@grahamvincent9065 it’s probably because people think they’re getting a good deal but not realising the amount of maintenance they require. Like all cars, they all have issues and things will break during its lifetime.

Dad had a Range Rover in Abu Dhabi in the early 1990s, but got rid of it because of issues with the electrics. Turned out to be a common complaint. Toyotas are king over there today. In fact he switched to a Land Cruiser then a Nissan Infiniti SUV before retiring.

Problem is they are big fuel guzzlers and with climate warming are a NO GO...i got rid of my 3L diesel for that reason alone. It amazes me how these cars are actually allowed to be produced knowing their impact on climate. If the next generation buy them they will be driving them to their graves.

The car is very sterile. Exactly what I would be expecting from a modern car. No soul, no character, no style. Everything overflowing with electrical buttons and touch screens. I miss the days when you could be actually proud of the car you own. Now it's just a mode of transport from point A to point B.
