wait...is health regen bad you said this in a way that u cant tell since this is a guide of sorts. My feedback maybe we need a tier list to show importance of stats and traits as a new player even the stat stacking scares me cause. i'm thinking so far from research that as GS/Wand ill want HP, Hp Regen and then maybe i try get even amount of ranged and melee avoidance on armor and magic avoidance on Accesories.

I liked this video because it gave more ways to save. Definitely the last point about upgrading a bad trait to build blessing to use on an expensive trait
@@MeistGamingChannel so basically you take a blue piece with a bad trait and start throwing everything inside to build blessing, when you have enough blessing you transfer all the blessing into a good purple item which has a good trait so you get the 100% chance to upgrade it right? Basically i need 450 blessing on a blue piece before transfering to a purple one, because with 450 blessing we can upgrade a tier 1 trait to tier 2 trait at 100%, is it right? If i got all this right...i just need to know 1 more thing, how do i get more traits and the traits i want on an item? I have seen the items have 1 trait unlocked but 2 locked, how do i unlock them? And how do i get the traits i want there to make a BiS piece?

Yes, these mechanics turn me off. Same with lost ark and new world. It was fun exploring the world and then moving on.
This makes sense but I have to ask. What makes more sense to you? Building a full traited blue gear set as you collect your purples. Or just work on gettimg purples with the right traits you want? Do I even want to fully trait a blue set them transfer the blessings then have to try and roll good traits all over again. Or do I full trait a blue set. And keep that until I max trait a purple item with other purple items so it never fails?

You use conversion stones. It takes a lot of resources or p2w, but its possible.

Thanks, can i get rid off the Ranged Evasion Trait at the end? Otherwise i think it wouldnt make sense to build nice traits on an item with a shitty trait on it.. :D
yes, with trait conversion stone (purchased from guild store vendor 100 limit weekly, or earned through lithographs, or mystic globes/portals)
@@nick11925at this point is better to drop a piece with a wrong cheaper trait, so it’s possible to unlock the other two traits stacking the blessing coming from the cheaper trait

Yes u can. Either buy the extracted trait from auction house (used lucent), get lucky for a drop with the trait you want, or use the conversion stone (in traits tab just click on the traits and it’ll have the option to either roll or select: selecting requires diff materials).
Btw, in order for you to unlock more traits from that gear, you have to have another price of that exact gear with the traits you want. Either buy extracted from auction house or farm of a drop
I think this part was the only confusing bit of the guide and it's because it wasn't mentioned that you can reroll the shit trait. It just came across like you'd build traits into the second and third trait slot and ignore the shitty trait. If he mentioned you could reroll the first bad trait when you're done it probably wouldn't have been confusing at all for some people.
everything else was pretty straight forward, just the last bit I'm assuming is what confused most of the comment section.

Is there no way to recraft traits? So when you get a trait you don't want and use it to boost up the other traits (as far as you can obviously) is there a way you can change the let's say "health regen" trait for something else? Or when it's on there, it's on there?
There’s trait conversion. One is random trait swap. The other one is guaranteed. You just need the mats to swap them.
How much blessing you got from a green feeded into a purple?
Thats a really great video that will help most people once they start to understand the potential of traits and how to aquire them. However the last part was a little hard to understand and I had to watch twice. Good content! Keep it up!

Does it make sense tho? To invest resources to stack blessings on a piece you already now has a bad trait? So you can get just the 2nd and 3rd right?

Is there no way to respec or overwrite traits like you do with Sovereign Weapons in BDO? Is that the reason why so many say some gear are noob-traps? And that you should min-max at level 0 already?

yes, which is dumb as shit, by the time you are done traiting your full blue gear you could have done the exact same with your purple gear.
Sorry for a noob question, how would I know if the weapon is T1 or T2 especially for purple equips? TIA.
Kanon, would you say its better to full trait a blue item(the type of trait doesn’t matter), if we are aiming for purple gear , before we transfer it to the purple, to maximize the amount of blessing we get? Or should i just focus on keeping blue gear with per example Hit(which im going to have on my purple gear) to then stack it or actually hit the 10% chance on getting it to lvl 2 trait on purple gear? Whats more worth ? Blessing or keeping the hit traits from blue gear to try the rng on the purple gear?

Any chance for advice on how to choose between selling gear in action house (since a lot of streamers/yt suggesting selling as early as possible to earn a lot of lucent from early whales) and keeping it for trait/xp?
in this game it seems every gear and any rarity is useful in some way, especially in early game (granted, later rarer gear becomes more useful): sell in auction for lucent, feed it in other gear for xp, save it/use it for traits.
Any suggestions?
in mine, in every gear it says "trait enchantment unavailable" ? does it become available in a later patch or do I need to do something to unlock it?

I think another option is to earn $3 by selling water and then directly buy the extraction of that trait instead of spending the time it would take to drop 10 items of the same trait. However, you can sell so much water in the time it would take to drop them that you can have enough money to fill all your traits.

How do you add a new trait? I purchased a bunch of blue helms with the extracted trait I wanted but they don't show up in the material window. Do I need to find the exact epic with the trait I want first? Then use it to unlock the second trait i want? Then I can use any blue helm extracts with same trait to level that trait?
To add a trait, you need the same exact item with different traits. To upgrade traits, you can use any armor to armor and weapon to weapon.
Will those outside of major countries need vpn's for this release of the game? I was hearing that there are some region locks

Build up pity using an undesired substat to proc a guaranteed upgrade on the desired stat. Pretty cool.
So with the fail stack purple pc you just get 2 new traits you want and once that is done you reroll the 3rd trash trait that you were stacking on for a final 3rd good trait?

Do you have any recommendations for places for builds? Brand new to T&L and i keep hearing that knowing your build is super important but i have no clue what i'm doing.
I understood 90% of it but I still have a simple question about that last part about stacking blessings using a "bad" trait.
Lets say I have a purple helm I need for my build with the "bad" trait being hp regen, so I feed greens and blues with that same trait until I have 2k blessing stacked (number is just as an example), then I unlock the 2 extra traits that I need for my build which are god tier for that purple helm, but now I have 2 god traits maxed out and 1 bad trait. What happens then? Can I switch out that bad trait for another trait that I want? Also, is the blessing that you get tied to that particular item or is the blessing counter something that you can use on whatever piece of gear you want?
They each have their own blessing count brotha
So use the bad trait to get stacks then use that stack you have for your other two good traits. Once those are maxed out then get the stone that converts your bad trait to the one you want . Hope that made sense.

full trait blue is better than no trait purple unless the purple has a great effect for ur class, for example Duke Greatsword is amazing for Greatsword passives
Can you change trait? Or you can learn all the trait options in that particular gear?
You can change traits using Trait Conversion stones.
When looking on the AH for traits how do you tell if it's hit/crit etc..?
Can you remove a trait that is already on a item?
You can change a trait to one of the 6 available traits for that piece using trait conversion stones. You can either 1. choose a duplicate piece with a good trait to transfer over to your main gear or 2. You can gamba and reroll to get a random trait amoung the remaining 3/6 available traits of that particular gear since you already have 2 good ones that you maxed out and the 3rd bad trait, so now you have a chance to get one from the remaining traits

Kanon I watch your videos but none of them tell me what stuff I have to do at end game currently, I see you have loads of purple gear but from where do you get it??? I tried to queue for dungeons at level 50 but can't even get into a single dungeon, I feel stuck at 50
thats his korean account, he's not that geared rn and uh i havent hit 50 but looks like u must be in a guild and do activites, do your world bosses and contracts dailies u have to fill some sort of weekly stuff like(vault in wow) as well

I think you can explain this in a far more simpler way by stating what we have to be doing at the start, rather than climaxing halfway through the video after a complicated introduction.

What he’s trying to say is if a trait on a your gear you want to upgrade is 5x more expensive to find the matching item with that trait then just getting blue traits, it’s better to get the blues. Your going to save a lot of premium currency by doing that. Let’s say attack speed trait on a epic glove I own is 500 but the blues are 10. 5x10 is only 50 so it’s better to do the blues for blessings then spending 500 to get the trait upgrade.

Man, I miss when crafting in MMO's actually made sense in the context of the game world. Want to craft a metal helmet? Go mine some ore, smelt it into bars, and maybe use a few other relevant materials to create your helmet. Instead we get some lazy gatcha gamble spitting out gear.
Even Aion let you put the stats you wanted on the gear the only rng was failing and you lost all of the stones. But at least I have the choice to get what I want
