Not being able to get an Archboss weapon if you aren't on a top guild feels kinda demotivating tbh
I gave your comment a thumbs up, but you have to think different. Whales, HC or "competitive" ppl grab the Archboss weapons and pump money into a game, that on the other hand, lets you enjoy all other content and chill. They did say, that they will add equalized PvP in the future, if your into PvP and competition and having some Top Gear, that they hopefully add to the rewards connected to the equalized system. I gave up on competition in MMORPGs a long time ago...there are other games for that.

there are pve spawns of these bosses for the same archboss gear. you just have better odds in a guild that deems you worth helping

Kanon has mentioned before everything is viable. it's more so say you are doing a dungeon, someone running greatsword/daggers is going to be a better DPS role than say greatsword/wand. You can play everything but certain weapon combos are just going to be better than hybrids. But play what you like cause in the end it pretty much all works!

I thought it was obvious from the comment... the fact with top top guilds having mainly no-lifers is the simple fact that you can't be the top top guild without having mainly no-lifers... but people don't understand that... if they join a guild with some no-lifers but they contribute less than someone else would, why would they take you?
No-lifers go with no-lifers, semi-hardcore players typically go with other semi-hardcore players and casual player usually go with other casual players... why? Cause it works... cause everyone contributes about the same and they're all happy... if you work 8 hours a day for the guild and I work 5 hours per week for it then I'm sorry but if I want to be treated the same as you I'm either joking or I'm stupid...
People need to realize that in MMOs you're given what you're worth... if you wanna play a few hours a week or even a few hours a day then you need to find a guild that matches that cause no-lifers will think that you're not contributing enough to be useful unless you're some uber talented player in PvP that despite playing less you're shitting on people left and right...
Yeah to be in a top guild you need to be nolife or really good. Why would a scrub be in a top guild?
Lets be real I'm not even joining a guild and probably stop playing after 1 month max. the pvp and guild focus is was will ruin the game so

How friendly is this game to someone who is gonna probably play few hours each day and maybe go midcore on days off? I loved playing lost ark but I eventually got lapped several times by the grind lords and got kept out of the game and just dropped it. Don't wanna put time into this game just to have it happen again.
Just got to find yourself a good guild there will always be people who no life the game or have slots of free time to play do what you can and have fun
The same thing happened to me, and I didn't want to swipe pretty sure this game goes down the same path, but it will probably be fun for hopefully for a few months
if you're not that into competing at the highest level, it's very friendly. Daily stuff takes about 2-3 hrs and even then you can put off a few days and not miss any aside from log-in rewards

I think you will be fine its sorta designed for casuals. Defiantly join a guild you will log in and just get massive free stuff.
Appreciate the information for the game, but i luled when you said choose a top guild my head said so if you are casual you are fucked unless your willing to swipe and how as a new player would you even know who is a top guild; regardless i didn't plan on making this game my long term MMO but I will definitely enjoy that initial fun hype/grind

He made it very simple if u Wana try hard join a top guild but if ur wanting to play casual an join a casual guild and your progress will reflect it... idk how u got I gotta swipe to play casual. Not sure why ppl think they can play casually and be able to keep up with sweat lords. It's like saying I should get paid more than the guy who works longer and harder than u. 😅
@trapazoidspl6075 What if you are a mid range player where you can't fully try hard because you don't have enough time you're forced to go casual and because from my minor understanding the guild is extremely important; do you just f it no point and go full casual because the top guilds just want grinders thats a double negative to the casual/semi hardcore. I want the game to succeed, but if there is too big of a gap between someone who has a ton of time vs. a someone casual/ semi hardcore it's dead in a few months, which, tbh korea has a big drop off from the videos I have seen. Obviously I am speaking from videos I have seen the top guilds destroy everyone and servers get forced merged because they die it's literally the same issue NW had; GVG games and hardcore guild that get rewards and benefits do not work in MMORPS you can't have massive gaps; all these massive incentives towards hardcore players don't work because they are the minority of your player base; it's just a fact and if you are going to reward the top guilds with important power producing items and currency vs those who are not in them it's doomed.
@@Cjbreezey mate a hardcore, a whale and a casual player have the same fcking amount of daily activities to grind/farm etc.. Every guild has a chance to get drops from PVE OPEN RAIDS. Top tier guilds are just going to dominate the PVP OPEN WOLD AREAS and the SIEGE nothing else. On the other hand if you dont have enough time to complete every day all DAILY activities then thats your "problem". If you believe it is fair for a 10 hours a day guy being in the same lvl/gear score/dmg as a 1 hour a day player you have to reconsider your thinking.

One question, what happens if you extract a trait from a item that has been upgraded to T4? The extract becomes T4?
So we are limited to a certain amount of item we can sell but not limited to buy items if i understand.
the limited amount of stuff we can sell for lucent seems to make an even bigger gap between a F2P player and someone who will whale.
The top guild will be the whales guild for the first few months. i wouldn't be surprised that you wont be recruited in those guild if you are not willing to "P2W".
I don't see how this game can succeed with this kind of approach, i hope it's not as bad as it sound tho.
It's exactly as you described. Top guilds own servers until they do merges , and then it just happens again but even faster
The trait system reminds me of star trek online, you could have a blue item in the marketplace but because it has a certain trait on it it could be worth millions just cause you can extract that trait. So id say take advantage of the market early game cause later down the road those same items could be worth something
Hey Kanon, if I want to be a gs and sns focused on damage, will it be a problem on the dg queues? I mean... am I supposed to be a tank 100%?
My only problem is that i will for sure swap weapons all the time since i can't decide what to play and constantly switch classes in most mmos too... gbye lucent

That was it
Two main points.
1- you can upgrade your traits by using lower grade items. So check the market and compare prices against purple gear. It has a pity system so eventually you will get it.
2- You can sell items as a scroll in the market, however that's limited to one per week, so choose wisely which item you turn into sellable. Also, don't turn into a scroll items with good traits, extract them instead.

Ngl you give really useful information, and I think the reason your channel is not getting bigger is because your videos are WAY too long. A quick guide on how to save Lucents should not be a 30-minute video, and I see this pattern in all your videos.

This sounds like a bad system though how much you enphysize us to join a big competitive guild. Also not being able to pivit from the build we chose is bad imo :( i love the swap of weapons on the same character like FFXIV or New World..
Unfortunately, the game heavily relies on guilds, and as a solo PvP player, I don't think it's the right fit for me. Still, I hope the game does well.

I'm the same way, played alone for years in garbage FFXIV because most guilds was RP Focused, felt like High School Musical, Drama Fest, or plain creepy or weird. I'm currently playing BDO, played this game for almost 2 years before joining a guild, I'm almost on my 4th year next year in March, and enjoyed the solo life. No guild means no responsibilities for having to log in or keep the guild happy or helping them out in their time of need. You can play like a literal Lone Wolf and do everything at your own pace without a care in the world
@@boneylockz3967 I hear you, however here’s the thing. I’m an old head when it comes to MMORPGs. Played WoW back in the 2000’s..when I was in guilds there were plenty of “lone wolf” players. Often times the Lone Wolf players were OP and it was a gift whenever they were online because they made the runs go smoother.
There’s no obligation though…that’s why there are so many more guild members that are available. Now, when it comes to high level raiding for example that’s a little different. Where if you have scheduled with others to do a raid then make sure you’re there, If you don’t want to, don’t schedule with them.
What I will say is that being a lone wolf is great because you can do matchmaking with people on the fly. However the bottom line is still you need other players to play with, thus multiplayer…not single player
Personally I prefer to progress on my own Pace. Im more competitive and savage than my casual PvE friends but I'm not sure If I could keep up with a guild pressured to take on other guilds than can go harder and out number your guild. Im still a little interested though.

NGL these upgrade systems are really offputting with the Lucent AH, the RNG, etc. Guess I'll just play and level up at launch then decide if I wanna keep playing or not.

Only thing that excites me is the content. Massive pvp content, a lot of variety, open world, wars, bgs, ranked, arenas... other than that........... not sure

not true at all. it actually enhances your gameplay, think of it like the real world , if you join a great work company youll get rewarded more. same with mmo guilds

Associating progression with what guild your in ensures only the top guilds get access to that gear and crushes smaller community based guilds. You need community in your mmos

the thing is someone did the math on the pay to win in this game. while i dont agree with pay to win this game is VERY lax with it. a pay to win player is paying for about a 1-3% advantage over a free to play player so some of the top gear hes talking about is really only for clout and not needed in any way.

lolll half the shit on reddit about me is fake news. My alliance was on top and we won the first castle taking down everyone. A lot of people hate champions, not even glazing myself, it's just true. Half the server loved me, half hated me. I assure you, when/if you join a top alliance (especially if you're leading it) you're gonna be "the bad guy" for a lot of people. Goes with the territory of being at the top in a PVP game. Also large scale pvp isn't even ruined in this game, it's better..so that statement doesn't even check out.
Ummm they made new rules for global that EVERY guild is on par with loot distribution so everyone can get Arechboss weapons they also nerfed Archboss weapons.

The progression system is realy trash, limiting people progression behing P2W or limited ressources like those stones and all realy is bad, slowing the progression especialy when there is a pay wall is ok to make people kinda progress at a more similar pace but if i want to reroll and progress a side weapon to have more flexibility or simply fixing a mistake im pretty fucked... the game limiting you early to encourage you to pay attention and build properly for late game and invest properly is fine, but limite the global progression is just stupid

To get an Arch Boss Weapon you need to save up 100K Lucent to buy it on the AH OR join a massive guild where your just a number supporting the core 15 people running the guild who wont give you the Arch Boss weapon when it drops anyway lol. No thanks, Small chill guild for me.

So us casuals getting "bis" stuff is jacked. Even if they join top guilds i would imagine top guilds will give stuff to those who are on a lot and grinding so the casuals will be in the back of the line. Which makes since fot that top guild of course but just kind of a bummer
