As the traits matter not the weapons. If you want more traits then yes you need a duplicate staff.

While you could do that.. you could also find the cheapest max mana trait for ANY weapon and buy that instead, to level it up. You only need the exact same item when unlocking a new trait slot, not to level up an existing trait.
Pro tip don't do any of this and stay with blues with what you want and farm multiple purples to farm the traits. What he said in beginning is also false the guild merchant only sells that if your in a lvl 10 guild. Didn't mention that. Don't rush to purples and only use a purple if you max your blue piece to lvl 9 and transfer to purple it will start level 6. What this guy did is perfect himself with temporary useless junk. Guy pretty much saying the weekly gear is best caut you get purples. Don't rust purple and read

Quick question I've seen no content creators cover in any gear guide videos, but when gearing your character how important is your off hand weapon? I know in general it can add to your combat power, but I'm asking about wether or not it's any good to go for traits on my offhand weapon after my main hand weapon is done. Also aside from traits what about the off hand weapons innate attributes. Like for the offhand would it be smarter to have a slightly lower attack with good attributes like heavy attack and crit, or would it be better to have a higher attack weapon with crappy attributes. Also on that note do the innate attributes of the offhand weapon affect the main hand?

The litograph lets you craft the weapon if you dont have it ( kinda like a craft recipe ). Trait extraction is to upgrade the weapon if you already have it. Note that making a litograph needs much more mats to do, but also sells for much more in the auction house.
This is a great video, and showed to me, perfectly why I really dont like this game. This material grinding is so boring it hurts, wits such a pitty that a gaje with these graphics and atmosphere have such poor understanding of fun.

You dont need that lvl 10 guild stuff to make money. Made 35000 cash store credits without using any of this. Grind. Rip traits from desirable gear pieces that drop. Sell those. If you get world boss drops sell those for big money. The ways are there. Id say wasting your guild currency is a poor method.

Videos can be filmed and uploaded at any time. You don't actually know their playtime here. You also don't know what their current gear score is, you just know what you see in this video. It's a fallacy to assume current time when viewing a video, even if it's just been uploaded.

The more hours you watch their stream the more things you get. It's like a promotion Pro tip: turn off the sound on the tab you have the stream on and lower the quality of the stream. That way you get the loot and dont have to listen to it nor does it affect your pc performance. Just make sure to mute the browser tab and not the stream itself

bro u explaining it all wrong xD to upgrade a trait level, for example the max mana on the epic staff of resistance, U DO NOT NEED THE EXTRACT OR THE STAFF ITSELF WITH MAX MANA, this is only if u dont have this trait on your staff of resistance and want to add this trait to it, to level it u can use ANY weapon or weapon extract with the max mana, purple ones will level up the trait guaranteed, blue ones 10% and green 1%. dont make a video if u dont even know the system yourself....
CP isn't everything , there are a lot of good blues that you can easily acquire and fully trait as f2p that out value a purple with one trait people shouldn't jump on every purple they get transfering to purple is a big sollent sink, you should stick to blue and only switch to a purple that really compliment your build also transfering a fully traited blue to a purple will give you purple a lot of blessing so you can enhance ur unlocked traits with blues with high success chance I'm at 2.2k CP with just one purple chest, rest of my armor is blue and still have few green accessories and I'm sorry if I'm sounding like neglect your information, I think it still good info for getting items but my point is it's not always worth upgrading to purples yet the market is still fresh a lot of things will drop in price too which will make them more accessable

Endgame gear has mostly boni on attributes, my daggers e.g. have +7 on strenght (actually +10 since they're upgraded to level 6)

You should farm lucent to buy the battle pass and level pass. They give insane rewards. Most value per lucent.
