Having never taken a chemistry class, I unfortunately cannot name each structure correctly in Daves organic chemistry 1 nomenclature exam. Cool names though. Give the person who came up with those names a raise!
Immediately saw this and picked C Reason: Numbering from the methyl substituent clockwise gives the lowest-value sequence of locants (1, 2, and 4 for the methyl, bromine, and ethyl functional groups, respectively), and rearranging the prefixes by alphabeticity gives 2-bromo-4-ethyl-1-methyl- as the prefix for the alkane, followed by the root word, cyclohexane, as the alkane in question is a cyclic six-carbon chain.

Professor Jesus please bless me with Organic ❤😭😭
I’m on the spectrum so there are things I’ll never understand and chemistry is up there. I’ve tried and tried to understand but just don’t get it.
