      Thanks for coming on the adventure hopefully a bit more memorable than our last 1 🤣. If you are still thinking about cutting your weight back for hiking definitely consider this wee stove.

      I am very impressed with the xboil and this camp has definitely given me confidence that it's not just a gimmick and can be relied upon. I can't wait for you to come up for a camp and show you some of my favorite locations.

    It was a fantastic camp! Was great to see you again. The location was absolutely brilliant, I even enjoyed the little hike in! This has made me think ill need to dig out my wee puck stove and give it a go, I haven't used it yet lol. Thank ally for me for the shout out while you were cooking 😂
    Hopefully we won't wait as long until the next camp! Brilliant video as always gus, and it didn't take you 6 months to edit it 😂 atb mate 👍🏻

      I needed it that camp mate, it's always great getting out with you lot and definitely won't leave it so long. What puck stove have you got? ALLY shouting that out was just natural chat in the back ground.

      Cheers mate. I have had that stove for about a year but not really used it. I think I had it in my head that it would be rubbish in the wind and go through a lot of fuel.

    Nice first camp ⛺️ Gus looked great up there (mind I’d of thought there’d be a little snow left )😮
    But the stove definitely is good ! super light and effective 👌🏻

      The weather is nuts, it gets so warm between the cold spells. There were only small patches of snow at the top of the munros. I did take my dog for a walk up Corrie Fee yesterday and there is a decent amount of snow again, not sure when I will get for a camp though. Hope you and your family are well, cheers Simon.

    You’ve got it all down to a fine art. I’ve got a couple of those meth stoves, great when you don’t wanna carry a lot

      They are ideal. I have always loved my trangia but I really need to start cutting back my weight and the trangia is big and heavy. I have never been a fan of gas.

    Nice one Gus, looked a good camp. How did the ex-ped do in those temperatures?

      @GusExplores  10 днів тому +1

      It was a great camp mate, when are you getting out with us? The Ex-ped was grand, I did have a wee foil foam mat underneath it though.

      @GusExplores looked good mate but maybe a bit too cold for me at this time of the year 🥶☺😅. I've only used my Ex-ped mat in spring/summer time so was curious to how it performed at they temperatures. I'll be up for a camp in a month or two if yous are arranging one about then and me and you can organise a spot of fishing if you fancy it 🎣 🙌
