Well 4 cylinders with low hp are hard to keep in power, you need to be in 1-2 gear all the time.. But it's way more fun than staying on second gear all the time like in a 1000cc imo. I trully miss my cbr500r , I just wish it was a little bit lighter. It was so much fun changing 3 gears to hit 100kmph
4 cylinder but hardly low power. This engine will be outputting over 100bhp, more than double what your twin CBR500R is chucking out. These inline 4s just love to rev right out and really come alive after about 6000rpm.
I had a CBR600F about 20 years ago and I used to ride like this-well nowhere near as fast as this, if I'm honest!-and this terrified the living crap out of me! I was shouting f_ck off, f_ck off, f_ck off at nearly every bend. I had to pause the video about half way through to calm down as my heartbeat was racing! I'm getting old! haha Nice video and great riding skills. Take care.
Yay! A new video of the King of the Mountains! 😊 Cool video as usual! Even at 62 kph, your riding is amazing... 😉 And it was nice to have all these Porsches on your way. You're becoming an expert at identifying the sound of things scraping on the tarmac. I can imagine you in a few years: SSSSRRRRRR!!! "It was the left foot peg of a Ducati Monster", FFFFFRRRRR!!! "That's was the side stand of a Yamaha Tracer" 😄
nahahaha just wait until you hear the scraping noise of the BMW R1200R I rode in the alps - cause those pegs were LOUD I tell you :) Thank you so much for the awesome comment my friend!!
you're the shit! By far the best youtube channel! I love how you scrap every corner....I found a little road I can scape my sv650 and I always get inspired from your videos.
Good timing you talking about the traffic, that's one thing I have been wondering for a while. The roads in your videos often look quite empty, is it just normal or do you go out when you know it's going to be like that?
This was on a Saturday so this was a very lucky run actually. I went back and forth 3 or 4 times on that day and this was by far the best run I had regarding traffic. Usually I try to ride on weekdays.
Oh, I see. I tried week days and weekends but I'm still on a small 125 for now and even 1 car can be a major pain to overtake without a fair stretch of road or the balls needed. The worse is that they're often very slow in the corners but accelerate on the straigthts, making it even more difficult...
Schaaf Ja.
I sometimes watch your videos end enjoy your scrapping pegs style!! Just wondering if you can do it with my Aprilia tuono as well because I can't!! If somehow you will manage to come to sardinia I'd enjoy a ride with you and i'm sure will enjoy sardinian roads!! Cheers man and ride safe
Really enjoy your videos, particularly this one as I'm considering this bike for next ! It needs an exhaust to sound a bit less shy (I don't want it to be a real pita though)
@@manbiteslife3110 Yep, kept it for 3 years, and loved every ride of it. Loved the chassis and the ease of use. Only downside was that it lacked character (but coming from a sv650 and having access to ducatis, it was to be expected from me) I finally didn't go the exhaust route because it can get painstakingly loud real quick
@@dantonchat71 I see and I am glad. What are you riding now? Everything is stock, has couple extras on it that I don't really care about, locks/immobilizer/couple crash pads, and new tires and chain. He wants 4500 euros, and it is the only example so decently priced (there aren't popular in Greece at all, currently there are like 4 of them for sale). I come from a cbr500r that is exactly the same bike ergonomically, and all I wanted was more power, without sacrificing a lot of fuel economy and comfort. I know it doesn't have a lot of character like a crazy supersport or whatever, but seems like a very reasonable choice, it does exactly what I want.. What do you think?
It's high mileage, I wouldn't worry to much about the engine but more on the chassis (shocks, forks etc). You might want to look at other European countries market and enjoy the ride home. I didn't replace it sadly as I was moving to the city without a place to store it or the time to ride it. But when the opportunity will present itself I'll probably go for a triumph 765 street triple or a 890 duke

Just tested the Ducati Supersport and I think it's better in that you can get into the power and torque sooner on the road and not have the scream around on it. In America you'd have to worry about Deer, Moose, Bear and countless small animals darting across the road.
Schaaf Really like the small bikes on backroads because they are fast without being fast. We have low speed limits here on backroads except out West and even there a Sherriff may stop you.
I think that with bikes like these you actually go faster than the bigger ones in the twistes, looks like a ton of fun!! :)

Vielleicht ein bisschen off-topic, aber: Wenn du die Lichter runterschraubst, dreh das weiß mehr rein. So ne graue Sonne ist irgendwie irritierend. :D

how come it's scarping pegs? Aren't the pegs higher on sports bikes?
because schaaf.
it's because it isn't a sportsbike actually. Thanks a lot though +AsRedAsBlood! ;)
I do enjoy that bike, still glad I got a super sport though :)
good choice ;) Thanks!
It's basically a CBR600RR with the same but detuned engine.
Aha
Just tested the Ducati Supersport and I think it's better in that you can get into the power and torque sooner on the road and not have the scream around on it. In America you'd have to worry about Deer, Moose, Bear and countless small animals darting across the road.
same here minus bears and moose ;)
Schaaf Really like the small bikes on backroads because they are fast without being fast. We have low speed limits here on backroads except out West and even there a Sherriff may stop you.
got the cbr 600 f lcr edition very sandsome Bike!
awesome!
Hey Schaaf :) Kannst du mir nen billigeren Audiorecorder als den den du benutzt empfehlen? :)
leider nein! Für einen Audiorecorder ist der ZOOM H1 nämlich schon verdammt billig :)
Oh kacke haha :D
Danke für die schnelle Antwort :)
Where is this?
Did u feel vibration on the motorcycle?
nope
Is it yours? What bike(s) do you have?
no. I only own a 1994 CB500
