Took mine to Donington for my first ever trackday and it was really good, redlining the engine and it screams!
IMO the best thing about this bike is how comfortable it is compared to a supersport. It was ahead of its time now that they are doing the same with R7, Daytona 660 etc.
A very informative video I've just done my CBT after not being on a motorbike for nearly 40yrs that bike is unbelievable value for money when a 125cc will cost you around £3000 for a decent used one
I have the all black 2012 version of this. I absolutely love everything about it. I had to get used to be up there over 8000 rpm and shift an awful lot, but that only makes it more fun to ride I think. It asks to be ridden aggressively.
If the main use is as a daily commuter I think there are better options though.
I was soooo close to buying the black version just never found the right one. Yeah I do agree to be fair you do have to shift alot but again agree it makes it more fun! Probably wouldn't buy for a commuter again tbf, naked bike for me next i reckon.
Fuel economy is often governed by the right wrist. In my head I know the bike can stay under 4k revs and still keep up with traffic and more without draining the tank. Then I bounce it of the rev limiter in 1st gear because I'm a child and love it. Ah well its only money.
Hahaha yeah it just has to be done sometimes mate!!! That is very true to be honest, when i've been out riding on sunny days and the right hand is excited (wheeeeey) I do tend to run out of fuel strangely fast
Same as that, hoon it a bit and watch the fuel disappear, but isn't that why we buy them
It absolutely is why we buy them haha don't mind paying abit extra to have fun getting from A to B
The upload frequency is 🔥 at the minute mate. Know you planned on being consistent but it's genuinely noticeable and the content is on top form
Thanks for noticing mate!!! Yeah I'm serious at this now, it'll just continue 👌👌💪
love it as always love the content every uploads i be hoping to own a Suzuki GSXR125 At some point this year
Thanks so much Andy! Love the support!!! Oh mate that would be awesome! Let us know if you end up getting one
@@pudmoto ye bro i will let you know buddy
Agree! it is a great looking bike.
Thanks very much bud 👌👌👌
Agree with everything you said mate, even tho mine is 22 years old it’s still bullet proof!! And I get about 160 miles to a tank.
Exactly mate they are brilliant, I think mine may getting more miles because I believe yours is more powerful isn't it being the predecessor.
I think that’s the case about 8 more bhp, I doubt there would be much in it in a race tho 😊
@@DaveCBR600F Yeah perhaps not much difference there then haha
-1/+1 sprocket change and get the Ermax double bubble windshield! I want to get it reprogrammed also, maybe add 300-500rpm to the limiter as well, I think this bike can manage this hehee
Not a bad shout at all mate! Especially the windshield haha
@@pudmoto I just lovee the racing appearance a double bubble has! I got the clear one, but the light smoke always looks nice as well. Look into it if you have stock! Supposedly it increases top speed by a couple and the wind protection is better but it really is more of an aesthetic upgrade for me. And it's 2 screws you need to do to get it. But everyone talks about removing one teeth from the front, it makes a massive difference in this bike. You're gonna lose some top end speed but 99% of the time you aren't doing top speed runs, at least I hope.
My seat could do with a bit more cushioning 😂❤
🤣 Sore ass?!?!
@@pudmoto yeah! 🙈🤣
I am riding 2012 honda cbr600f
When I give it the throttle it cutoff
I sent it to the mechanic he said piston 1 and 4 are not working.
They checked electrical components and there's nothing wrong there... What might be the problem?
Oooof I wish I was much more mechanically minded and could really help out
Yeah . Definitely Suzukiesqe... especially in the blue.
The later 650F looks a bit edgier before going twin lights with the 650R
Still loving my 600F though
Your soggyness makes me feel better about not getting out at the moment though 😉
Yeah absolutely, yeah definitely started to go edgier but the 650r looks much nice imo. Hahaha yeah never pleasant being out and soggy but it must be done 🤣
@@pudmoto I quite like riding in the rain but need to sort some wet weather gear.
I had an eye op a week ago and my vision is not fully back yet so I'm not allowed out 😭
Yeah I must admit I don't mind it from time to time. Oh really? That's no good when the sun has been out is it. Hope the eye is doing okay!
Any buzzing, rattling in dashboard/windshield area @ 4K RPM ?
@PeraNS0 I haven't noticed that but when I bought the bike it already has a bung installed I'm guessing to stop this problem
Supersports don't really have usable rear brakes mate. The ratio is 90-10% front-rear , on supersports. This may be a "sport touring" but it's not it's just a supersport, with high clip ons. That's why the rear brake does nothing. Plus if you've got the ABS version like me , it will never grab hard.
Yeah I mean front brake are bang on! No complaints there. I changed the rear pad recently and i'll be honest it has improved massively!
@@pudmoto I think I am due to buying some rear pads as well. But I rarely use rear brake, it's also combined braking, so whenever you hit the fronts a little bit of the rear is applying. But it's probably only good for low speed turns, or adding 5%-10% stopping power.
Yeah bang on for slow speed stuff it is great, I'm due new front pads now anyway so I'll get that mighty stopping power back!
@@pudmoto I got the EBC sintered pads and they are stopping you amazing, just make sure your mechanic greases them correctly if you aren't the one doing the deed. They squeak a bit else. EBC or BREMBO , sintered ones. Never go cheap on the brakes!
EBC exactly what I have bought! Absolutely spot on!
I got the same bike, which screen do you use on the bike, whats the brand?
I believe the screen I use is just stock to be honest bud, been after a bubble one though, just waiting on funds improving
Oh yeah oke, i wanted to change the screen with a original size MRA screen, but the screen was not made good enough to fit the bike correctly on to the same attachment points. I just wanted to change the screen because of irritating vibration noise with the original screen. But it worked because of the screws you need the use with the MRA screen. Now i just drilled 2 hols in to te original, i thrown away the MRA screen 😂
Hahaha no way! Thats crazy that you had to do that and then never got to actually use the MRA!!!
Do you have any vibration noise?
Not that I have noticed to be honest, but a foam insert was put in mine prior to purchase which tells me the previous owner may have had some shaking/ vibration
