I’ve been subbed for a while, and my wife absolutely loves the Hide and Seek Series. It would probably make for a longer video, but I think having ScrapMan, Moonbow, kAN, Yzuei, Lil Corndogs, & Cosmo would be hilarious. You could do one of the larger maps like the Old Fantasy Village, or Scrap City, or oversized room. Even a round of Sardines with a larger group would be really entertaining!
Side note: in outer space, firing a gun is actually enough to change craft trajectory. That’s why in “The Expanse” when the Gatling guns (PVCs) are firing, they include a rocket jet in the back of the gun firing off as well to counteract this and stop it from rolling the ships like what would happen and be needed in real life. Perhaps a thruster tied into the mini gun control firing off in unison would have done the same? Would be interesting to test!
scrapman on a previous video showed how easy it is to build an ornithopter with sails and i think it's be awesome to see an ornithopter dog fight. bonus points for melee.
Now I wonder how small you can make a dogfighting aircraft. Here would be the challenge for that: Both players build their tiny aircraft. The player with more parts gets only 1 weapon and the player with less parts may (or rather has to) fill up with weapons until their part counts are equal. The rule that all of the extra weapons have to be incorporated means that you can't just go for a seat+small propeller design, since that likely wouldn't lift the amount of required weapons. (But you could always deactivate extra weapons to reduce recoil.)
The recoil thing is similar to what happens with an A-10, because if they fire for too long it will force the plane to back, stall, and fall out of the sky
21:34 - Going frame by frame, Yzeui's rocket was _so_ close to hitting ScrapMan. So close! It would've been a mutual kill if it hit. Like, if ScrapMan didn't tilt to the right, it would've hit his left engine. Now I want another jetpack fight, but with multiple rockets. Or at least a mini-jet fight, so it would still be a one-hit kill. Super fast highly agile jets, in maybe the ocean map, and you both have to make a full lap around the map, all the while trying to shoot each other down.
I'd like to suggest in battles like these repairs are permitted ONLY while "safely" landed on the carrier. however being shot while trying to repair is also permitted. this can give a little more power to the faster builds. for example: when Yzuei lost his mini gun IF he could of landed without destroying himself (possible only because of his three thrusters vs. scrapman's 2) he could repair and re-take off or scrapman could have a slow moving target more focused on a safely landing his already damaged build then shooting back. plus landing equipment can count towards block limits. sniping his canon off is a cool game mechanic but he could still also ram you and call it a draw, just felt... not over yet.
i think a 2v2 relay type race with a car and plane would be cool. Have the car start and the planes have to meet them and pick them up at the end of the road section, fly through a portion, then safely drop the car down on the next driving portion. Alternating between carrying the car and seperating the car from the plane. maybe even throw in a water portion as well with a boat if you want even more challenge.
I'd love to see team-play with jetpacks... maybe one rocket build and one gun build per side? The 1v1 jetpack battles are awesome, but I feel there could be just a bit more chaos with 2v2.
Do an anti air race where one person is flying a plane, max power cores 8, can have a rear facing smart cannon as it’s only weapon, and an anti air car that has 20 power cores and needs to stop the plane from completing the laps in airborne. The plane has to have a max speed of around 50-70 MPH, and the cars speed is unrestricted. Max plane part count of around 150-250. Keep up the great content!
I think you guys should do a team battle against a train. Of course now we have the new guns, and someone builds a train and 2 wagons and the ones driving the train have to defend it and 2 others chase the train with a car, and if the train can't go anymore then the cars win but if it reaches a certain point the train wins or just who can get the farthest with the train. i think it would be a fun idea. kinda like the cargoplane vs 2 planes.
We need all out war with people creating their own Jetpacks like these. Maybe splitting into teams etc. That would be awesome to watch, especially with rockets! :D
Hey Scrapman, i know this suggestion may be quite difficult, but I would love to see a gliding submarine (meaning that it can jump out of the water and glide for a bit of time, but is not powered while in the air) land on a plane. To make it easier, you could probably use the large cargo jet Yzuei built for landing a plane on another plane. This may not be my idea originally (i tried this like a week ago but i think other people may have beat me to it), but im just trying to spread it around. If you see this and want it to happen, dont be afraid to copy this idea onto another video
A jetpack doesn't have to have all jets firing at 100% all the time. You _could_ have allowed baking in fine control via thrust instead of only seat controls :)
Scrapman should do a game where 1 person makes a car covered in dinomite and has to chase and destroy a slow armored car driven by another player before they reach a location. The armored car can have weapons on it to try to stop the exploding car from getting to close to it! :) also great video. Loved it

2 Ideas for a 4+ player challenge: 1. CAS (Close Air Support) assisted Tank battle 2 player make tanks and the rest make aerial vehicles (Jet, Helicopter, AC-130, ect) The main Idea is a fight on two turfs with fire support being provided from above and below in the form of explosives and bullets respectively 2. A similar but sillier version of the above idea, ground vehicles are anchored to helicopters, chaos ensues, video is thus funny
Challenge idea Extinct Evolution: Each player starts with one of their own old builds from a previous version of Trailmakers. Each round, you get to evolve your build, but you can only add parts that were added to the game after the build was made. So a newer build will start off better, but have fewer options for evolution, while starting with an older build puts you at an initial disadvantage, but gives access to a larger parts library in future rounds.
I'd love to see a drone evolution battle using the new blocks and weapons. Like, maybe 6 tiers of evolutions? As per usual limit things based on power cores, maybe start off with 5 or 6 power cores for weapons, upping the limit by 4 each round.

Day 12 of asking ScrapMan to make a 2v2 video where each team makes a cargo plane that launches a glider one person makes the glider another makes the cargo plane and whoever's glider goes the most far wins then each round both teams get 1-5 mins to upgrade the builds but they cant communicate while building so u have to be very careful with what u change. The cargo plane would launch the glider at a certain point or after a certain amount of time idk what would work better. I think this would be a great video and I really want to see it, keep up the amazing work you make my day every time I watch one of your videos.
You two should try a zero gravity dogfight with no wing or stabilization pieces, as it you were in space. It you also be interesting if you made your creations zero drag.
Video suggestion: You should do a Jet pack evolution. Because you basically done every kind of evolution you could do, except a jet pack evolution, and it would be chaotic and fun... Chaoticlly fun.
I would love to see a co op mission of you guys building either a rover or fighter plane but one person drives the other shoots on a turret, (no aim assist) with a goal of a certain number of enemys [Could be blimps or fighter planes, the zeppelin or the speedster] without either of you dying {for the rover version I suggest making the turret a launchable mini air-craft for an extra challange} Have fun!
ASW with depth charges and RBUs would be an epic challenge, each building a corvette and a submarine and then having to hunt down the other, whoever survives the longest as the sub wins.

guns would also need a different firing method than gunpowder, no explosive force without air to compress.

Yzuei's line at 22:50 reminds me of an old FPS. An enemy would chuck grenades at you saying "here, catch!"
I kinda wish there was a more combat oriented campaign. For now, Airborne co-op 2 man teams, down as many enemy units with 1 pilot, 1gunner

Recently I discovered you could invert a spoiler and it counts as a lift producing wing, build a plane out of just spoilers for wings.
