If you're not sure what a piece of equipment is going to do or how it's going to handle, something I'll usually do is rent it first. That way if you don't like it, you can return it for minimal cost.
I keep a 'mods.TEST' folder in my game's root directory, along with a dedicated 'savegame' (e.g., 'savegame9') that I have prepared in advance with, for example, at least one small newly cultivated field, one small field that is ready to harvest, etc. When I want to try out a new mod/addon (e.g., a seeder), I first rename my default (active) 'mods' folder to 'mods.SAVE', and then rename 'mods.TEST' to just 'mods'. I then just throw the new piece of equipment into this test folder, choose the test savegame on startup, and then play around with the new mod to see how well it works. After that, I just exit the test savegame without saving changes so it will be ready to test the next mod.
Yes! The lease system is great. Sometimes you might just want to do something once (like root crops), so you don't need to save up a half million dollars to try it once. Just lease it and try it, then you can return when you are done. It's silly when people are afraid to try things in a game. :) There's no win condition in farm sim. Keep playing.
Going to wait till I get a chicken house on the mod hub I hope this time we actually use the dung from the chicken houses its pretty powerful fertiliser
I wouldn't recommend selling off the bees. They give something like $50 an hour, so in one in-game day they will give you what you could get selling the hives. They don't require any maintenance, so just be patient.
I need help, crop destruction im not sure what I need. Is it all just down to running narrow tyres or is it the weight of tractors and / or implements like i just can't seem to find anything on FS25 crop destruction and how it works, especially with added in weather events and so on. Would be awesome if you did a video on that too please Farmer cop !
Kind of an expensive route but in fs22 I would use a flat bed trailer with a forklift towed on it. Drive it to the store with a semi and use the forklift to load my trailer. After that I would load the FL back on and drive them back to my farm. Or if I was lazy I'd have the ai drive the fl back to the farm. Kind of a pain to do it that way maybe but I thought it was fun
This is my first time playing a farming simulator game 😂 I never thought farming will be a complex game so many machines and trucks. Post more tutorials of new players
Hey dude, I think a Farm managar guide would be good for people who are beginning out but have maybe played FS games before? i.e what are the basic machines to buy/land to go for for logging/animals/crops/rice etc. do i need a tractor, trailer, hose, silo, etc etc. ive only ever brok 2begiining the game" once and then it was pretty basic in fs17, but dont want the hand holding of new farm guy, know what i mean?
I cant start in farmer mode as gonna start playing multiplayer on tuesday with a couple of friends ^^ so we gonna jump out in it without any experience beside the little I watch in your steam earlier ;P and then for experience players in other games I will say I always start different xD
Any Modders out there --- Can someone make a 1940s Ford 9N??? My Grandfather had that tractor and I have the best memories of riding that thing all day long when I would visit him. I would love to roll around on FS25 with it!
Kinda odd to go in depth on how to sell things for money, to then immediately say not to spend it on new stuff...heh. Just go slow. One tip, go slow. Grow slow. Take time to learn. It's all you really need for gameplay tips.
I'm sure there is more than just storms that are new , better visuals and performance .Buffalo, rice farming . Mod hub will fill with stuff . Just play and find out I guess , that's what I'll do
Actually a good amount of stuff, I was kinda surprised. New livestock, buildings, crops, productions, maps, visual overhaul, ground deformation, ai overhaul with gps, new vehicles etc.
I recently olayed FS23 on my iphone bc i was stuck in a car with 2 kids for 12 hours and needed something to play and got ADDICTED. Im playing fs25 right now but its so different from mobile. Not complaining i just have to figure it out

I do that a lot as well. Sometimes I even lease Harvesters if I have large fields, such as Texas Plains.

Dang Right!!!!!!!!!
I would actually recommed going for chickens, they only need a tipe of grain to be fed and you can sell the eggs for much
Going to wait till I get a chicken house on the mod hub

I just start this game and it is my first game of simulator!
Your videos help me a lot! Thx so much ;)

Agree with that. Same with the 2 small solar panels you have on your starting farm on Riverbend as they generate passive income.
Man I would really appreciate it if you made a best crop/yield sheet like you did in fs22!!
Which map is the best to start on.. They're very different from what I can tell
Will I be able to plant wheat in June instead of July
13 minutes, full of usefull facts, perfect Video and absolutly underrated

I bought a truck how do i load fertilizer bags or any of those big bags and other things onto the truck?
Use a forklift or big bag handler attachment for a frontloader
@@FarmerCop and then drive the forklift all the way back to the farm every time I have to buy things? A bit weird
@@FarmerCop thank you anyway 😁
@@matheuskg123 use the forklift at the store to load a truck, bring the truck load from the store to your farm :)

Love your videos along with sealy p! I don’t even start playing the new fs games before watching all your help videos ❤
This is my first time playing a farming simulator game 😂 I never thought farming will be a complex game so many machines and trucks. Post more tutorials of new players
Just downloaded this last night, now the wait begins. I'm going to follow your advice, except I'm going with a new farm 😊
I always learn something new from your videos. Thanks!
I personally always keep a spare tractor and I allow the AI worker to do contracts with any of the equipment I am not using.

What is the "roped" off area to your right at the end of the video (on your starter farm)??
Great video, very helpful. I am on console, and I am experiencing a lot of game crashes 😅😊
If you buy property, does the npc stay there. Really don't want grandpa just hanging around
All the npc characters remain unfortunately
@@farmerwillieb thats great!
Another Awesome Vid
Thank You!!🫶💚🚜🫡
Good luck for a successful year farmer cop thanks for all the tips
Ye start with the basics like soya beans which require a whole new planter to do so
I'm a new player and TY for giving people like me = Much Needed Help!!!!
Disagree with turning off growth seasons, otherwise a very good starting guide.
So the hay baling contracts are screwed up?
Love the new intros
I can’t sell the farmhouse!! Can you confirm this?
Cant sell farm house. No sell option. Xbox series s?
Hey is there a setting I can change to get the laggyness to go away...game is stuttering I have the recommended system requirements
Better internet
Try lowering things like lod distance the stutter is when the cpu is on its arse
I was reading that there are shaders that are loading in certain areas but doesn't have anything on screen telling you. Maybe that's it?
How can I increase the font size in the game
Like the hud size? It's in the main menu under options
Dumb question. How did you get your screen to use Dollars and not Euros?
Is the AI better in this version?
yes, they dont get stuck on trees and stuff anymore. they are actually useful now
@@Dampiix nice, thank you
how do i ste your game for pounds to dollars and kph to mph
how do u change your game for pounds to dollars and kph to mph
Grandpa in the Tutorial: "Thank God you came by. Your father hated this farm and wanted to get rid of it."

It was has to find the vehicle repair. It was far away from the shop, while internet said "behind"...

Honestly I think starting that way is kinda boring, get a farm sell everything on it. What's the point.
I'm agreeing with you btw
The beauty of the game is you can play it however you want
Look, I just want a modded smaller more affordable roller.
