#day29! My life has changed so much from last week to now. I am really grateful that I had a chance to learn yoga to ease all my worries and relax my body. Thank you Tim
20 years of yoga and I have never heard or realised I was sickling my feet in childs pose! What a world of difference it makes keeping them straight! Wow! Every day is a school day with you, thank you! Fay :)
The pups interrupt my practice; I pause and come back to where I left it. I won’t give up practice because I cannot do it in one shot! Forever grateful!
Loved the forward fold sitting on the block, one knee bent - felt great for my dodgy knee! As always, really likes your cues (my child pose is better after today) and all of the information you provide during the practice. I am learning a lot about the body at the same time. Thanks Tim 🙂
Each Day, i’m thinking : « This one is very good! I will do this one again »! So the best will be to do all the lessons again and again because they are all unique! And i have to practice my english more and more... Thank you Tim! Namaste 🙏
I really like your choice of words, Tim. ( "The participation of the spine, the fabric of the shoulder, the cultivation of a meditative state") So eloquent!
So on the third standing pose where we held the big toe and opened the knee to the side my right side was very wobbly then it was steadier on the left side. The last bit of the practice was super melow and relaxing. 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Interesting! 😊 Our sides are not perfectly symmetrical so it is fascinating to observe the differences between the right & left side. Glad you enjoyed the end!
Awesome Video Tim! I'm already excited to go through this challenge another time to reap the benefits! Thank you so much, these videos and challenges have taken my practice to another level
Really enjoying this challenge and challenging my mind and body. Still have a long way to go but wanted to say thank you for taking the time to explain the moves and the benefits of the moves. I especially like when you remind us to tuck in our bellys - this has always been a trouble spot for me and for some reason I find myself pushing it out instead of pulling it in. I am hopeful through this practice I can make it routine to just naturally pull in my belly to help strenghen my core all day long! Keep up the hard work - I sure appreciate it!
i happened to do this video at night bc of an early morning work meeting ... so "have a great night" was applicable for me, ha, thanks! truly, i loved this video. felt like a practice i want to continue as long as i can.
My favorite day of the challenge, so far! Granted, we are doing this one month after the series was originally posted, but we are following along and noticing improvement! Thanks, Tim
Thanks so much, Tim. My body is so much stronger and my awareness of muscles that I have drastically underused -- eg my left outer hip -- has made a difference in my walking. Your explanations are very helpful.
Thank you Tim, few challenging poses there but will keep steady and improve slowly. A good challenge for my morning here in Miami on holidays! Great start of the day. Namaste 🙏🏼
Continually amazed by what a difference in awareness and how my body feels with your cueing and overall instruction.......cannot thank you enough! My world is a better place and my body feeling notably freer.....happier! Sending tons of gratitude your way,,,Namaste
Great coaching. Many small (though important) pieces of information. Many thanks for this great series of practises. QQ on using a band or strap: what about using a block instead? Pressing instead of pulling apart, but to my mind with similar effect.
Hi Tim, and hello everyone else. Feeling greatful for this practice - to listen, to follow, to learn and practice. Seated postures were nice today, opening knees, hips, hamstrings. What is it called when you lift your hips out of virasana with your arms behind? And lastly, Tim, would you say that leading a class just with verbal cues, is something that just takes practice?
Loooooove the double pigeon, I wonder why I have never encountered that. Btw, I noticed that you never do king pigeon in any of your videos - is there a reason for that?
I once heard an aphorism, "The real yoga begins when one steps off the mat". Do you have any advice as to how to maintain the meditative state which accompanies corpse pose during the daily goings-on of life? I'm curious as to your thoughts. Most responses are maddeningly simple & paradoxical, so feel free to answer in that true yogi spirit.
My kids love Ollie! We even created a playlist of your videos that have Ollie so when they practice yoga with me we can do "an Ollie video"😊😊

Thanks Tim for the wonderful practise today. Was not too hard today, but it did allow some more focused stretching which is great. Greets from UK.
This challenge has been amazing! my core and shoulder strength has increased surprisingly quickly, and i love all the deep stretch!
