Luchi Paratha Recipe | Fluffy & Soft Luchi Recipe | Indian Deep Fried Puffy Bread | Luchi Snacks
INGREDIENTS & PROCESS:
1 Cup Flour / Maida
½ Tspn Salt
1 Tsp Sugar
1 Tbsp Oil
Mix Well
1/3 Cup Warm Water
Make Dough
Knead For 2-3 Min.
Rub Some Oil
Keep For 10 Min.
Take Some Dough
Roll
Fry In Medium Heated Oil

Call it by any name lucchi or puri but is simple and yummy
It's like Puri in our South Indian side
The difference is - Luchi is made with all purpose flour (Maida) and is Deep fried in Ghee unlike Puris which are made with wheat flour and is deep fried in Oil.

Luchi should be cooked in a kadhai and the size should be small and round so that it is puffed up from all sides.

I took luchi in my childhood in Amritsar. It is luchi Puri not parantha . It is very thin very soft. You should go to Amritsar and know first hand what luchi is

I'm Assamese from Guwahati, Assam. This is not Luchi. This looks like in between paratha or bhatora. Puffef up to the size of your palm made with flour or wheat is Luchi.
It is just puŕi with little sugar
Luchis are made of Maida while puris are made of ata, enormous difference

This is not luchi. Its smaller and fully puffed up
I am a Bengali. It's not perfect luchi. Until or unless it's puffed up, it's not luchi. No one will have it. You need a half big kadhai smoking oil for puffed up luchi. Don't even think of frying it in a frying pan.Luchi is not paratha , so don't call it paratha in your thumbnail. It's not a crime to know nothing about something but don't pretend to know it in right direction. Very disappointing

Extremely hot , but never in a Fry pan,with so little oil. This person has NO Idea of making Authentic Luchis. BTW Luchis and Parathas are as different as Bhaturas are from Chapattis. Sad Story.
