One of my tiny habits is to clean the kitchen before I go to bed. No dirty dishes or pots and pans waiting for me in the morning. My day starts off right when the kitchen is already tidy. For the longest time I would convince myself that I was too tired to deal with the mess and put it off until morning. No more
I wake up at 5am, get my coffee that I have automatically brew at 4:30, and put on worship music. Get myself positioned for reading the Bible and praying. One thing I think I need to change is after time with Jesus, I need to out away my phone and go outside. I think that’s a fantastic idea. Walk the garden, talk to the chickens. I have become complacent in staying inside for the entire morning. I really love the vibe when I have my battery operated candles on. It’s so cozy. What color is on the wall where you were using rub n buff? I LOVE it!
Bruce and I both do the tiny habit of when finished with an item ie book, or cup, or whatever, to put it back where it belongs! Tiny habits save time Big time!!
I’ve done the morning sun with no phone first thing the last two months and it has drastically helped my mood and stress levels. Also also making myself have even a little tiny breakfast with protein before my coffee has also helped.
I have been getting up at 4 am for a long time to have me time- no demands from anyone in the quiet- I exercise, shower, get dressed and hair/make up done, coffee and time with God by 5:30am, then it’s a load of laundry in the washer, dusting, feeding the dogs, sitting with the next cup of coffee outside in the warmer months and curled up on the couch in the cold months- all before 7 am. I am a clean as you go- as I bake or cook, as I go from one area to another- if I see something that’s not back in its place I bring it to the proper place as I walk through a room. I taught my children the same thing- clean as you go, if you are done with a game or project or homeschool assignments- put everything away where it belongs. I do a deeper clean at the end of the week and focus on one room a week for a deep clean. In the evening, my coffee pot is set up to drip for 4 am, my kitchen is cleaned and everything put away and meat in the fridge to thaw for the next day. It’s tiny habits that stop the overwhelm from happening daily or at the end of the week.
Perspective is everything. Everyone looks at the same thing, just from a different life lens. I feel we lose our gratefulness as our self-importance grows. When we keep our eyes on bigger things, we are more grateful for where we are.
One of my favorite habits is one my english grandma started. When I get home from work i make a small pot of tea which i sit and enjoy a bit before I transition to home and responsibilities. here. My mom also did this for us after school with a snack and talk about our day.
The biggest habit that helped in my homemaking, as a homeschooling mom of 7, was declutter declutter declutter. We need FAR less to do everything... school, cleaning, clothing, toys, decorating.
I so appreciate these reminders and new tiny habit tips. I’ve started cleaning up the supper dishes more and tidying up the kitchen a bit better, i’m still far from perfect at this but atleast i’m not plopping down on the couch right after supper and scrolling on my phone. Also working on having less piles and bringing things to their home right away, i find I don’t have a home for everything, so this leads to a long process of deculltering a space, organizing it and making a new home for something, but once that is done, it sure feels great to bring it to its own spot, instead of moving it from place to place. Our bedroom is still a catch all 😵
Morning prayers and Bible reading are always first on my list or even just prayer(depending on what's happening). I love cleaning and cooking while songs are playing. and I'm singing. I usually don't stop until I've finished cleaning, decluttering, or decorating whatever area I intend to. Unfortunately, sometimes the work gets bigger and I miss meals if I'm passing another area and happen to fix one thing, it then becomes part of the work, therefore morning becomes night, or night becomes morning before I conclude my task. I need to go walking more in the evenings. Good talk Angela!💖💖👏🏽👏🏽
Your 10-Minute Sprint has legitimately changed my life. I’m neither a mom nor a homemaker, but I have severe inattentive ADHD and much milder ASD, and giving myself a strict, timed block to do one thing is so worth it for everything from tidying the house to getting started on bigger work projects. I can’t believe it’s taken me 34 years to make these small steps. So, thank you! ❤
Oh and I forgot to comment that you had talked about the Bissel vacuum cleaner which works beautifully in your home! Bruce and I were both watching ( we often watch you together) we said if it works for you with kids and pets then it should work great for us! We have one kitty and we one three old grandson who visits about two times a week! So if it’s efficient for your home it should be for ours as well! We just got it the other day and YES ANGELA!! We love it!! Thanks for sharing your recommendation! Love ❤️ Barb!! 😊
So glad to see that I am not the only one doing at least one laundry load of washing a day 🤗 keeps me hopeful, helps me stay somewhat on top of my laundry, and the weekends feel more like weekends 😊
I get up in the morning, get a cup of coffee, and sit in front of my kitchen window with my knitting and enjoy my coffee. I pray while I’m knitting, (if it’s not a difficult pattern), and do general thinking about the day. It’s wonderful thinking time, and I get some knitting done, and enjoy my coffee. I’m retired and never had time to enjoy this while I was working. 😊
I’m catching up on videos and finally watching this one and lemme tell ya, there’s been WAY more times than I’d like to admit where I organize things then FORGET WHERE I PUT IT! I am 100% going to be trying the QR code scan labels!!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hi, @TwinMomPlus1vlogs We're glad to hear that you found the review helpful. We hope you will consider trying our products and experience their benefits firsthand. We are so confident that you’ll love your results that we offer a 90-day money-back guarantee.
Hi Angela, turning 40 with two young kids and an exhausting job (teacher!), I struggle with weight gain and cravings. Still have my postpartum belly and some people even congrat me for baby number 3 (that leads to very unconfortable moments ;-). Do you have any advice for mom who want to stay fit but want to keep it simple ?
As a woman who just turned 44, I found Pahla B Fitness Walk Off the Weight videos on UA-cam. They are about 20 minutes long, you don't need any equipment or even shoes! It's easy and gentle on your body and her commentary is so encouraging. ❤ She has a 30 day series one. Each day is a little bit different and she focuses on cardio, strength and balance.
Neeeeeed the QR code labels, I love that idea! Can't handle lamps. Ideally I would use lamps and cozy lighting but stupid retinal disease decided to thwart my cozy hobbit lifestyle dreams. 😂
they really are two very different products with different uses/outcomes. I like to blumene for almost "instant" results in jowls area especially. The Nira really helps with a wider variety of issues, and affects really build after multiple uses, especially in elasticity and texture! :) hope that helps!
Both the NIRA Laser and Blumene have their strengths. The NIRA laser offers deeper, targeted treatment for fine lines and wrinkles, while Blumene is excellent for overall skin hydration and brightness. It depends on your specific skincare goals.
Thanks for sharing your perspective! We totally respect your choice-everyone's journey with aging is unique. If you ever change your mind about exploring skincare options, we're here to help! 😊✨
Now I’m upset and starting to think your just trying to sell face products. I brought the previous bloomie because you recommended that because it was “the best” and now your advertising a different product with another code. I feel scammed and I love you, this sucks.
It's not about you.. she is here to pay her bills bottom line.. I watch what I like and skip over the rest. I think UA-cam is so over saturated you have a ton of people who made a lot of money and others who didn't get that big break.. I think that's what we are seeing now
Maybe she just found a product she liked better. If you like the previous product, then use it!!! If it ain't broke, don't fix it. You don't have to continuously but every product in every video.
To be fair, Enjoying a product and then finding a different product that you also enjoy, maybe even more, is part of life for everyone. Doesn't mean she lied to you, or that the thing you bought is bad, could just mean she found another product that also works. Yes she has to pay bills, but that doesn't also immediately mean she's somehow lying. The beauty of a rich economy is that two things can be true: two products can both work.

Would you mind sharing what kind of little breakfast meals these are?
@@Southerngirlinanorthernworld sure! Something with. Protein & fat, like a piece of cheese with meat , cottage cheese, bacon, a few eggs.

Yes! I have a playlist called Middle Age Mom Mix and it's my favorite songs from the 70s, 80s, 90s and early 2000s. It gets me pumped up!

Amen on no overhead lighting! I get a remote from Amazon that can control 5 outlets so I can turn them on and off quickly from one spot.

When I need to move it... get the cleaning or decluttering done, exercise, etc. I 100% put on Skillet!
Yes!!!!
I am listening to you and ironing - chore I really don't enjoy in a summer time, but you are making it bearable. Thanks! 😂
Been watching too much YT lately… after the Karen Reed verdict comes in I’m going to have to take a YT break! Love your videos! Such a great channel!
Your word is balanced! I like you!
