This video directly influenced my purchase of this guitar. I am extremely pleased. Thank you for posting a video which showed off many on the EF-500RCCE's diverse qualities.
Very nice playing. This Is a beautiful sounding guitar. If this is supposedly a finger-style guitar and sounds this good as a strummer then it must be awesome for finger picking as well!
DR500MCE is a dreadnought body, solid sitka top and solid mahogany back and sides. The EF500RCCE is sort of an OM shape. Solid cedar top and solid rosewood back and sides.
I play a Seagull A/E that also has a cedar top. I have used various sets of strings and found that Ernie Ball Earthwoods bring it to life like no other.. The overtones are beautiful. The guitar sounds like an orchestra. The downside is that the strings aren't coated and need to be changed fairly often. It's worth it to me.
Hi brother, I buyed this guitar a few months ago, but I feel very hard the strings and I want to know if you feel the same, because my guitar is the same that you are playing in the video, but I hate it the guitar because is very hard. Do you think that guitar has something wrong, please let me your comments asap.
EVERY guitar, specially new ones, need something called "set up." I bet everything that it has a high action, so it'll feel "hard." Get it to a luthier so he can set the guitar and you won't feel it hard.
Maravi in my opinion when you lower the action on an acoustic instrument you ruin the tone and volume. Among other's that applies for violin, Oud, rabab, sarangi and guitar.
You play your instrument and after a while the strings no longer hurt. So why on earth would you lower the action and lose the tone and volume for a temporary condition of weak hands and not thick enough calluses on the fingers. Just play and your hand strength will improve and your calluses will get thick enough so it no longer hurts.
Fastguitars It's not REALLY a finger-style guitar, even if it's made to the finger-style player in mind. In fact, I play strumming and flatpicking as often as fingerpicking and this guitar delivers every time.
+Maravi Yoso thank you for saying this! I am very close to buying this guitar (I found one for $450 - is that a good price?) - and everything I found says it is a fingerstyle guitar. I play strumming/flatpicking for the most part - and it is nearly scaring me away. Any other feedback on my situation would be a life saver! I am between this and a PRS Angelus Custom SE that I found for 499. Thanks so much!
+Maravi Yoso I actually ended up steering clear of this guitar after doing some more research I settled on a Yamaha AC3R, and I could not be happier. Unbelievable guitar for the money. I still might get one of these, or another from the masterbuilt series that does not have the wider nut. Just FYI - if you look for this guitar used, it can certainly be had for 450-500. You can also find them new in blemished/b-stock for 575-600. Just wanted to let ya know!

hi, please.. translate : devo comprare ..e sono indeciso tra ef 500rcce e dr 500mce.Quale è la differenza? thanks.

May I ask what strings you are using?
+alice SMITH I think it's by factory D’Addario 12, 16, 25, 34, 41, 53 but the best to use is Elixir 12 size or 11 is sweet

+MaleInMarchMusic what?
a finger-style guitar that is being demo'd with a flat pick is not really the idea.
nice playing, but,....

AC3R is a wonderful guitar but it doesnt have 1 3/4 inch nut unlike this Epiphone and the Yamaha L series. Unfortunately i need wider necks
