- One of the great things about being based in Nashville, Tennessee is the opportunity to meet and work with some of the best musicians in the word that live right here in our own back yard. Our friend Leigh Reynolds dropped by last week and while he was here, we asked him to check out the Epiphone Masterbilt DR-400MCE.
I have this guitar and I am absolutely in love with it. I bought a mid range Martin the same day that was actually more expensive than the Epiphone. The Martin doesn't even come close.
Epiphone guitars are great guitars.I own 4 of them. The sound and quality can't be beat for the money. I've never been disappointed with Epiphone.Whether you' a beginner or have played for years, I highly recommend them.
Epiphone really is the most interesting guitar company these days. Always taking chances and putting out different guitars. Like the Matt Heafy Snofall. If only those pickups weren't muddy in the normal models ....But yeah, knocking it out of the park lately, Epiphone. Good stuff
I just got one and am impressed with it. Sounds awesome and looks great. Thanks to Mr. Reynolds for putting on a great show.
Ive been playing the DR400 since I took delivery awhile back. Love it. Found a Faswin gig bag for it and it fits like glove.
I just ordered the DR400 this week. I'm primarily a Bluegrass accoustic bass player. But I'm sometimes called on to play standard guitar. I've been
Sounds great!
I ordered this guitar today? Why? Cuz it's solid wood not laminated. I've played a 1968 Martin DB35 since 1973. THis will be my back up guitar.
Cool Guitar and Player
Nice playing, Mr. Reynolds.
Went to music store the other day and i played both the Gibson J-45 and Epiphone DR400mce, the Ephiphone 400mce has superior sound than J45, i cant believe it coz of the price range DR400mce only cost less than a quarter of the J45, so i talked to the attendants about it what explanation they have, and they told me that its because of the finish, j45 with glossy body and Dr400 matte, matte and satin guitars let the wood vibration more room while the glossy one make the body wood tight.. so i decided to plug them both coz i thought if thats the case maybe gibson will sound better with electronics.. im wrong the Dr400 still sounds better and accurate in every chords while the J45 sounds tight i dont know why but the J45 has shorter scale than DR400, marked my word go to music store try both you will be amazed by the epiphone DR400mce. its GOLD with a price tag of a METAL..
I have one of these guitars and it plays and sounds great.
I bought my grandson a used Yamaha F335 yesterday. He wants to branch out from playing the basoon in his HS orchestra.
Awesome Sound @Epiphone
Sound's beautiful, you're very talented.
Beautiful playing and sound.
Jimmy Page could take lessons on how to not play sloppy live from this guy. Going to pick this guitar up today, very excited.
this man could make a rubberband sing
This videos is what urged me to buy the Epi DR400MCE. That and the solid wood Spruce top.
