@@Some_guy_passing_by Not even, it's a forehead cut, you can literally see it above his eyebrow as well as the blood is leaking from the forehead into his eye.
Bang! Bang! This series is marvelous, and the magic is so overwhelming. Best upload as always, and I loved it as always.Thank you for uploading, I really loved it.🥰😇😊😊😍💖💓💓🔥🔥❤😊👍👍👍😁😁😇😊🤩🥰🥰
Linie would be absolutely terrifying if she wasn't so arrogant and did some proper training. Can you imagine having to fight an enemy that constantly shifts their weapons every few seconds? One moment you're defending against ranged attacks, the next a close-in dagger or shortsword, the next a long-range spear. If she was good, she could even change it mid-attack. It would be impossible to predict her attacks or build a strategy to defend against them. And if she trained, her strength could have made those weapons far deadlier.
Linie was more composed, the thing that held her back was just having no capability to learn the same way we humans consider learning as. Plus Melee focused Demons display a sense of fairness in their fights 100% of the time, and Lugner just giving commands(making it clear that coordination is not something demons actually do). Its something a curious demon can achieve, but not someone like Linie or Lugner
Starks lightening strike left me breathless. It was done so well, the sound coming after from him breaking the sound barrier. Fern being an absolute monster too. This whole show was absolutely amazing.
Remember in FMA when Ed was wailing on Envy, and Envy took on Mustang's face to make him pause, but it just made Ed punch harder? I feel like Linie saying she's imitating a mighty warrior who was afraid of Stark so much he punched him out of sheer reflex is the equivalent here.
I love this fight, it's a textbook example of Flamme's demon fighting strategy and how well Frieren trained Fern, turning her into a demon Terminator. Lügner is ostensibly one of the smarter demons, he's cold and calculating. Not giving in to rage, analyzing the fight as he goes and the whole time he's using the demon combat playbook to a tee. He is so convinced of his superiority he doesn't even consider he's being tricked by mana suppression. And that is exactly the point. Lügner never stood a chance. If Fern had fought Draht for instance, she might not have survived. Lügner being a stronger demon, actually lost him this battle before it ever began and it shows how perfect the strategy is in defeating them. Frieren understood Ferns potential, as a human who grew up with an innate understanding of Zoltraak and advanced defensive spells. She has the potential to be the next Flamme. Essentially, if Frieren is a T800, Fern is the T1000.
I think 1:12 this is where start realized she can only copy fighting style not the power when he noticed he can still open his eyes (idk guessing ) or when he fell down
Well, it is entirely possible she was rushing to aid Lugner as Lugner called out for her and given how little damage that did, trying to kill him immediately may have taken too long. Maybe as little as a minute but as Lugner was also in a battle that's too long.
She was fighting logically, since Stark's Endurance was beyond what she expected for a warrior(since this man will soon endure the most brutal of attacks from another OP DKG) and she would've focused bleeding him out if Lugner was not in a pinch.
To be fair to Linie, she was using a weapon that was NOT optimal for her build.... She did when she equipped a spear, a knife, and a standard sword. She was baited in a strength duel which she was outmatched...
I can never look past the fact their casually having a conversation that either stops them fighting or makes it seem like everything went on pause so that they can finish what they were gonna say. Another thing that’s weird is their wasting oxygen plus giving away all their strengths and sometimes weaknesses by doing this. Still love this scene. I understand this is a type of story building style but it just takes me back sometimes.
the thing with Linie fight is that Warriors at a specific strength category do not suffer loss of breath as much as humans do, added in that Linie was cornering Stark as much as she can, and they do use their tongue to manipulate a battle as well, deliberately forcing Stark into a standstill. So for Linie conversing against Stark is nothing more than mind games, revealing your card is something you can exploit to force a warrior to stop and despair or slow them down while toying with them. It will be a similar thing to a certain arc will be.
It’s just occuring to me, but Zoltrack is meant to be a spell that can pierce any Defence. But it seems even demon magic has since advanced beyond it (or using your own body as the Defence technically counts for the spell)
Well , Fern isn't showing any emotions because demons are adept at using human emotions against humans . Frieren does the same thing. Himmel made the mistake of showing his feelings to a demon once , but only once and that cost a life .

Her victory can be achieved only from others belief that they can't win this fight i guess. But animation of Linie is so damn good that i can't stop feel for her.
Lots of skill, but little strength behind all that skill. She can copy someone's skill, but not the strength behind it. Stark was trained by an insanely strong dwarf, and the dwarf even said he was afraid of the boy's potential. Basically, it was the classic case of unstoppable force against immovable object, the problem is that the unstoppable force had no strength behind it to finish off the immovable object, and the immovable object only needed one blow to end the fight.

Stark is just her worst matchup. Its like Frieren losing to 3 Demons and made her scared shitless to one of them.
