- This chair pilates session is solely focused on Pelvic Floor exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles. It will be particularly helpful for anyone feeling less confident in their bodies and wanting to improve control with safe and gentle exercise. Supporting your pelvic floor is very important and in this video I teach a very special breathing technique to help you reconnect to your pelvic floor. Some women can feel quite emotional with these exercises so please take your time, don't put yourself under any presssure and just allow your body the time and space it needs to reconnect. This is a great video for anyone who experiences weak pelvic floor muscles, prolapse, pelvic or back pain, incontinence or diastasis recti.
I have also made a video using this technique in a mat based pilates session so why not try that as well as see what feels best for you. You can find that video here: • Strengthen Your Pelvic...

I will recommend your very encouraging video to my daughter, who has been told the list of women needing surgery for these problems is so long, she can't be added to it!! Many thanks from me as well, Rachel!
Thankyou Rachel. I finally got around to these pelvic floor exercises, wish I had taken them up previously. I’m 85 and work out with you on osteoporosis sessions just about every day. If I don’t, then I really feel the difference and tight Your videos and instructions do so much good for so many of us. ❤❤❤❤❤
Hello Valerie, wonderful to hear you enjoy my osteoporosis sessions and have discovered this one for the pelvic floor. Remember it’s never too late to do anything you set your mind too so why not add this to your weekly practice? You’ll feel the difference in 6-10 weeks if you can do it 3 times a week. And keep up the other sessions too, you’re doing great 😊❤️⭐️
Rachel, my love...thank you for the pelvic floor exercises....when chiropractors...first entered the Healing Health Industry.....doctors were calling them quacks... .I had a fractured tailbone....I wasn't able to sit down...young mother..so I opted for the surgery... easier to have a baby..I met 2 other people in my life that had that surgery..both with canes and living on pain pills...I at 70 young..am healing...the whole pelvic girdle....My balance is off..and thanks to your wonderful classes...reconnecting so important!!! Love and light 🙏🌻💫💙💫🌻🙏
Thank you for sharing your story and sending love and light to you xxx
Easy to do, feeling a difference already and only once a day for the last week. Starting twice a day today. Thank you Rachel.
So glad xxx
This is so needed by so many women Rachel and not necessarily older women, you are doing amazing work! 🌷thank you 🦋
Thank you Anne, and you are so welcome xx
Been doing this video for a week, twice a day. It feel like I did a 100 sit ups. It sure is making a impact.....thanks Rachel :)
So glad xx
Yes I have a pelvic organ prolapse and I really like the way you teach and I go to a therapist on the outside but I also do these at home and I was wondering if you could provide some more pelvic floor Pilates exercises? I would really appreciate it! I love the way you teach! Thank you
Thank you. This has been so helpful!
Found your video 2 weeks ago and it is making a difference!
So glad xx
Oh my goodness, the timing of this is incredible! I was just diagnosed the other day with bladder prolapse. Seeing a specialist in 2 weeks but in the meantime I will be doing this video. (The link to the mat video in the description box says that video is private.)
Hello JoAnne, I’m so pleased this has come at the right time for you. And I hope it felt ok to do. Thanks for letting me know about the Mat link- it should be ok now as the video went public an hour ago so the link should work. Any problems do let me know. Take care and wishing you all the best, Rachel 😊
Just what I need. I will do this EVERYDAY!
This is so great. Been waiting for you to do something for the pelvic floor and so grateful.
This is so useful Rachel . You really care about issues that affect older people .Thanks for all your great videos 🤗
Thank you Rachel! I’ve been looking for something to help my leaky bladder. I seem to have a hard time remembering to do kegels often enough so looking forward to getting some help from this workout. Blessings to you.
Not sure if doing it quite right but will keep trying! Thanks
Thank you lovely lady.
So important for us women of a certain age.
This really helped me as lying on the floor or even on the bed with my knees bent isn’t easy for me right now, so thank you for these exercises for the pelvic floor.

Thank you, Rachel, another excellent job. 😊
How did it work out?
So needed.Thank you.,
Taking it down a notch…I call your session today, “innersize” and it is so important for everyone! Thank you for resetting my root chakra♥️
Wonderful! What a super phrase to use, you totally got it. Glad it was helpful to reset your body ❤️
Excellent, Rachel! I’ve struggled with pelvic floor weakness for years, including PT and even medication, but this FEELS like it is working the right muscles and I have great hope of some real and lasting improvement! If I do your mat and seated pelvic floor routines each once a day, can you give me a time frame of when I may expect noticeable improvement?
Hello Cathy, I am so glad to hear you could feel this in the right places, that's wonderful, that means it is already starting to work. To answer your question, if you were to do both sessions daily you should feel some improvement in muscle control within 12 weeks. As you have had a weakness in this area for many years it may take longer as you need to allow your body the time to strengthen. But in my experience it realy does work and as you are feeling it, it clearly is doing you good. So take it easy, do it daily and remember to really use the breath to help you. Little by little you'll start to notice how your pelvic floor strength is improving. Wishing you well, Rachel x
Thank you Rachel, what a great exercise!!!!!
You’re welcome ☺️
Thank you Rachel This is just what I need and explained sooo well. 👍🏼 Xx

Thank you for this excellent excersise. 🤗
Thank. Totally awesome

Beautiful.
Are we meant to just imagine it or actually do something besides breath?
Listen carefully to what I say and you’ll understand exactly what you need to do. Best wishes 🤗
