Qigong Immune Boost for Older People, Immunocompromised, and Chronically Ill - Immunity Booster

  • This special Qigong routine is meant to build a solid foundation of health and "chi" to support a strong immune system in people who are older, immunocompromised, or suffer from chronic illnesses. Of course, anyone can practice this and gain benefit, but it will be especially useful to these people.
    People with a weaker constitution will find this gentle program helpful in improving their digestion, increasing their energy, and lowering stress as well, all of which will support a more robust immune system.
    NEW LIVE OFFERING:
    I am now teaching via ZOOM EVERY DAY at 9AM California Time.
    It is a lot of fun, and a great way to make new friends and get new customized Qi routines every day!

    Hey Nick. Looking forward to practicing this routine daily. In my early thirties I was sick with Pulmonary Sarcoidosis, but was lucky to spontaneously go into remission. I’m now learning to support my system as I deal with CLL, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. But, these don’t define me. I’m an active guy with a positive attitude. Practices like this support my body and mind. Thank you for all that you do.

    My new favourite channel too! Thanks for bringing these powerful but easily judged as “boring, slow, and for old people” practices to a younger generation. Despite it’s indeed labeled for older people!!! Ha ha ha!!! I loved it!!

      @TheNickLoffree  4 роки тому +4

      Great! Haha thank you. Yes, labelled for older people but everyone can benefit! My other immunity routine was a bit more of a "workout" so I thought I'd highlight a gentler one for people who need it - but hey, I like a nice lazy Qigong practice too now and then ;) Everyone can benefit from slowing down!

    hi Nick, I love your teachings, I can really follow you. Your explanations are wonderful as well. I heard you had suffered from depression. I have suffered from depression for many years and it was inspiring to hear that through a better diet and qi qong you got through your depression. thanks so much for sharing all of that and I thank you for your huge inspiration towards a better and balanced well being... I look forward to doing more of your videos.... namaste, Mark

    • @TheNickLoffree
      @TheNickLoffree  3 роки тому +3

      Thanks Mark! Ya, depression is rough, especially because it makes it so hard to do the things that would help heal/prevent it. For myself I've found that I can completely keep it at bay just by taking care of my gut. I'd recommend as a baseline just eating easily digestible foods, and eating often (3 square meals a day) to keep the metabolic fires burning.

    We don't know how we missed this one! What a wonderfully gentle and meaningful flow of mental, physical, and spiritual activity. Besides the qigong, a shout out to your videographer on this as well (perhaps that's you, too). We're so grateful that you are sensitive to the perspective of.your viewers (right vs. left orientation, mirroring, pausing, taking plenty of time to get into the flow of each rhythm, etc.). Anyway, a belated 3-year thanks. Geoff and Marcia

I love this exercise but can you tell me which ones I could aim to do perhaps alternatively with this one to build up immune system and strength in my body. 8 brocades? Should I I this one every day and perhaps build in another later? I feel like I have found the golden ticket and just want to learn more and more....and I am sharing little bits with my mum with dementia. Thank you again Nick, you are a true guiding ligt.

    I noticed some Qi Gong teachers say exhale as you lift your arms up, with your fingers together, and some say that you inhale when the area go up. What is the difference in what it does for the body if anything. I am going to do some of your workout to warm up before I do my daily tai chi workout.

    • @TheNickLoffree
      @TheNickLoffree  4 роки тому +2

      I'm not sure which exercise you're asking about here. In general, most Qigong exercises have about 1000 different variations being taught, and each school will tell you their's is the best. I find it simplest to just try each one for a bit and see how it feels.
