I have this stick and I have to say I'm very impressed with the stick both in design and performance. For $50 less than the Obsidian 2 it feels more premium than that stick ever did. The fact that this is also on the Xbox is also great since Hori is the only other arcade stick right now that has an Xbox Series S/X version. Definitely pick this stick up if you are looking for a new one!
What if I could get the Obsidian 2 for $245? Would it be worth it? I have a code for 25% off at the Qanba store.
If you can get the Qanba for that price then go for it. I personally like The Nacon over the Qanba just because it’s more easily accessible to change buttons and artwork over the Obsidian.

Trust me its harder to get it in certain countries in EU than in US. Got lucky and got off an order theough a local electronics store thats partnered with nacon
PS5 version is always out everywhere
It is just about that layout, the light buttons are crooked. But I like the shell, it is kinda like panthera

Disappointed that the aesthetics aren’t as good as the ps3/4 version,,, but who am I to complain when I can actually buy this one lol. Gonna check your review then decide from there

@weplay_foryou6402 it's a good stick. Slight pain in the rear to mod. If you want anything other than a sanwa or Hayabusa lever, you will likely need to file down 2 plastic pegs. This was the situation I ran into installing a Seimetsu LSX-01 Nobi Bullet Pro.

Looks very promising. I am very tempted to upgrade from my old Hori Fighting Stick 3! 👍 Stock is very limited in the UK at the moment. It might have to be a Christmas present to myself.

Great video! Hey, I saw you screw in one button, but did you see if there are enough clearances if all the buttons were screwed in, both between buttons and also by closing the lid? I feel the clear screws will hit each other if the rest of the buttons were replaced by screw ins. Please let me know. Thanks.

Would there be any advantage or disadvantage to using any of the variations of this controller on PC or MiSTer? It seems like they all have a PC mode button as far as I can tell.
The Xbox version has the buttons labeled in the traditional Xbox layout, which may be beneficial on PC.

Do you think that cable sag will be a problem over time ? USB-C, can be flimsy sometimes, and I know the Victrix has had problems with its cable in some instances; could the Nacon potentially develop such a problem ?
It did become a problem for me. In the process of returning mine now. I don’t want this causing me to get DQ’d in a tournament.

Man cost more than my x-arcade tankstick
Do you play with the X arcade ? I bought one 10 years ago, and modded it full sanwa. But for me it's the worst stick ever, because it actually hurt my forearm.
