As a moroccan I am so thankful to you for giving this old man that money you really did a good deed 😊
Hello, i'm moroccan and understood that the babouche guy didn't charge you more than others people. He said 20 dirhams also to the moroccan old man in red jellaba that came across. This man couldn't afford the 20 dirharms bowl so proposed to the seller to give him a small amount of soup in exchange of two dirhams and that's what he did. Also about the pigeon, the seller proposed you only 50 dirhams for BOTH of the pigeons, but the guy who "translated" and gave you the box lied about what the seller's said and told you 100 dirhams for only one, that's not cool :( Overall, thank you for not forgetting about the guy who helped yoy with your chanel !
I was looking for someone to explain to him that the seller of the pigeons was asking 10$ for both , but the other guy tricked him into not giving him the second one.

This video made me so teary. Im Moroccan and ive been living abroad for the last few years, i totally forgot how hospitable and humble my people are. Chris, you have a kind heart and soul, not only are you so humble and friendly but you didnt forget to go back to the first person that was featured in ur first successful video on youtube! keep it up!!
Hi Chris, I am Moroccan and living in the Netherlands. Just want to tell you that first of all you did a great job with the pigeon and with the baboush man. Actually I can tell you that the man with the pigeon asked for 50 dirhams for the two pigeons. But the other man who translated and put the pigeon in the box did an awful thing to ask you far more. Back to the baboush man, he didn’t charged you at al. Actually he told the other man the same price. So that means he didn’t make any difference between you and a local. Keep doing the good stuff!!
I hated so much that ass.he acts like a nice guy but he's a cheat (the guy that put the pigeon in the box)he was ugly
Klopt wat je zei over de prijs van de duiven, dat vind ik juist zo vervelend aan sommige mensen in marokko

Nice video bro! 🙌 The guy translating when you were buying the pidgeon agreed 100, but the seller said in Arabic: “50 for both”. Video was nice but I really hate when they cheat on tourists with a smile. Wanted to share that with you!
i was telling the same here. he is a bad man
@@ghizlac I truly dont like when they do that to tourists. They do that to me too... I will share that on my channel so people can be aware... like Chris does!
No he said 100 for both (50 per one ) but he gaves him only one for 100 , shame on these scammers
لاحظت نفس الشي مع الاسف 😓
Yeah like with the seller was very nice but he couldn’t speak English. He said 50 but the other man translated wrong 100!
The guy who said 100 dh, shame on him, he just made a commission for himself immediately... stupid that he didn't see the camera. The vendor said 50 dh for both pigeons, and the other guy just made his commission .... very sad. Shame on Him.
Just recently during the world cup, a taxi driver’s licence was completely suspended because he charged a youtuber a higher amount than it should be. Hopefully the same guy here in this video will get busted.
Chris, you have a heart of GOLD, man! Thank you for freeing Paco, and for looking back and helping those who helped you! You're an amazing man, and we need more men like you! See you on the road, brah!
Thanks so much! I appreciate you!
The seller said at first in Arabic: 09:54 “50 for both pigeons” ejjouj=for both.
I am sure that the other guy will force the pigeon seller to share the money with him, for the translation and scam because he received for one pigeon 75 more than he wanted.
Anyway, take care and keep doing good things to people who deserve.

Wow it's just amazing what you did with the babouche man 😍 he really deserves that he's an honest man thanks soo much for that great deed🙏❤️, you can't imagine how you made him glad even he didn't understand you well. he didn't even believe when you gave him the money. and by the way he didn't add 10dh for you because he told also the other moroccan man the same price, the price it's a quite normal in this period because snails are almost rare especially with drought in our country last year so he also bought it with a very expressive price that's why, in the other hand there is also some not honest people like the guy who give you the pigeon I'm not taking about the one who had them he's a nice guy he wanted to sell them just for 50dh but the other one who told you 100dh unfortunately. Any way you're welcome bro in our beautiful country Morocco any time.

Very generous Chris. Everywhere you go You will make people happy 👌🤗
This is one of the few times I can truly say a Western travel vlogger, at least that I've seen, reciprocated the hospitality and also returned and paid forward what they have made off the content they created by visiting. As a Moroccan myself, I believe we are sometimes too polite to say such things, but when you consider the difference in the value of the currency, and how much more that money probably is worth/means to him, I don't know. You did a genuinely kind and good and just thing, and it made the world a better place, and gave me hope. Thank you.
Edit: also my mom is from Fes so it's even more impactful 😭
The peigon owener was about to give you 2 peigons for 100dh (50dh for each); He was very honest. However, The man who tied up the peigon in the pack told him to hold on in order to scam u.
Thanks for giving back.

Man, you're an absolutely great person, thank you for helping street vendors, they truly need it !
About the pigeon story the man said 50DH which is roughly 5 dollars but the man stepped in and he first said 150DH which became 100DH that's why the pigeon vendor was trying to give you two when you handed him the money (100DH). You never run out of opportunistic people but overall I hope you enjoyed your stay in Morocco!
Thanks so much for the support! Where are you watching from? 🙌🏻
