FEZ, MOROCCO - Welcome to the incredible city of Fez, home to some of the best Moroccan food in Morocco! Today for lunch we’re going to a popular restaurant that specializes in bbq meats, tagines and tangia and we’re trying it all!
A huge thank you to Moroccan Food Tour (moroccanfoodtour.com/) for arranging my trip to Morocco!
We arrived just in time when they were putting in a fresh batch of tangias or meat cooked in spices in a vase shaped clay pot. They then simmer in their own juices for hours over charcoal in the clay pot. They also specialize in famous Moroccan tanjia, the clay pan with a cone shaped lid. We also got a mix of meats grilled on the bbq. Highly recommended for a fantastic meal when you’re in Fez, Morocco.

the bread is called Tafarnout .. weach is an amazigh kind of abread we make it in our celebrations every house in my contryside have one in their houses big ones for celebrations frsh tafarnout with olive oil and a cup of moroccan tea is the best or even stuffed tafarnout is so delicious as well

Ramadan is an Arabic month, we fast during ramadan from dawn till sunset (month of fasting)
It’s not during ramadan, it’s old post , about 2 months, he was in Morocco, you can find his other one in mark wies, I think

Perhaps this video is a reminder of what can happen after the major fast. I have been to Turkey during Ramadan. I am not Muslim, but I did follow the fast during the day. I didn't have to, but I wanted to see and experience life during Ramadan in Turkey. Trust me when I say, a grand feast awaits at the end.

There is something very poetic about everything in this video. From preparation of the food to it being served. North African and Middle Eastern food as a whole, is very gracious. I think it's because it was food served to the Royalty centuries ago. Now, all people are served the Royal cuisine. Whenever I eat food from North Africa or the Middle East, it feels like an event.
I have traveled to many beautiful countries, but Morocco is something else and another world. Never tire of people being kind and loving. They go to the north, their culture alone, and they go to the south, not like the culture of the north. They go to the East, another world. They go to the West, different from others in every way. I loved Morocco so much and miss the delicious food and great fish. Morocco has different types. There are a lot of fish in the north, the Mediterranean Sea, and in the west and south, the Atlantic Ocean. I loved Morocco very much and I have friends there
