- FREE Nasi Lemak to Everyone I see in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In this video we will be walking around the Chow Kit area of Kuala Lumpur to hand out meals to those who need it the most. I like that guY when you were offered him 2 packs nasi lemak but he only took 1. He was so generous. You are right never offer money to them. If theyneed money for foods i rather buy for them. Its not surprising for malaysians… i used to frequent chow kit markets in my childhood but nowadays its considered an unsafe area of KL… and there were not that many beggars/homeless pol back then…not here to be negative but it is what it is

Thank you for feeding the less fortunate. I'm a local resident, and it seems like 95% of the people you assist are foreigners. But as you mentioned, they're still human beings who need our help.

That's not true though. KL has its own food kitchen run by volunteers for years. A lot of charity in Malaysia are from anonymous donors. That's why during any disasters here we can see Malaysians working together for charity and volunteering works.
You would be surprised that even pet shelters and pets rescuers receive constant donations for their works. A friend of mine who was losing her mind for a stray cat that was hit and had to amputate its leg, with just a Facebook post in a Cat Rescue page she managed to collect the fund needed for the surgery in just under 2 hours.
