I really want to know the inner workings of this arena. Like do they have just a crap ton of mages using Mold Earth just for the show? Kinda reminds me of China's Olympic opening ceremony
The Romans had moving floor levels and parts for the Colosseum that could even host ship combat.
@@magdalenavalentinastegaru8531 True, but that's the boring real world equivalent. Give me your off the wall theory fit for a fantasy world.
@@evancampbell7048 I imagined it's just a bunch of pillars that have had an enchantment placed on them as a whole, with some contraption or magical artifact built in as a control. There's probably a bunch of businesses who employ mages as construction crews, like a magical equivalent of the people who build sports arenas and theme parks in our world.
Those crazy Artificers! LOL ;)
@@AristophMarloque Did some one say Acquisitions Incorporated?
They did their homework!
Hugh Grant, performer thespian, an excellent performance. A great type casted role I can't wait for Dungeons and Dragons next film credits with title!
Just seeing this clip makes me feel more excited for this movie! Also, loved the special easter egg to the classic D&D animated TV show as well!
Yeeeesss, a displacer beast anda a mimic, isn't that cool?
Dumb question, the other group on the right @ 0:56? Any ideas? Guessing the guy that went into the Cube was a fighter? Barbarian maybe? Wulfgar? Also the dwarf that was gottenby the DBeast? Bruenor? Anybody see a drow in the clip?
1:56 I absolutely LOVE that they put in the characters from the old 80's cartoon, "Dungeons & Dragons". It was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid: ua-cam.com/video/hHnsMKQJBDA/v-deo.html
...and in case you missed it, the D&D cartoon kids finally make it home, thanks to "Renault", lol! ua-cam.com/video/jrKh70QnnMw/v-deo.html

Mimico 🙅🏿♂️🎲
Yes! Anyone catch the easter egg for the old dungeon and dragons cartoon party?
Judging from other comments, everyone.
what if it isn't just an easter egg? What if the two group join forces and finish out the movie with the four protagonist?
Why is this giving me Willow vibes
Anyone recognize the third adventuring group? Are they from the movie, or are they someone I'm supposed to recognize?
The one with the dwarf, not the one with Presto and Eric.
Yes, it was the adventurers from The Realm.
@@LordJonRay, which Realm is this? The PvP show?
@@trollsmyth No, "The Realm" was the original world used for the Dungeons & Dragons Animated Series back in the 1980s. It wasn't Greyhawk or Forgotten Realms as some have claimed.
really wish i had time to see this in theaters!
I enjoy most of Chris Pine’s movies so I will go watch this when it comes out, what with it looking very Thor: Ragnorak / Potter-esque. I am not a D&D player at all, but the really positive and enthusiastic comments here by folks that are make me even more hyped for this!
