But start it out slowly. Don’t start with storm camping. Without experience it can be very dangerous. Start with dry weather then maybe some rain camping

I agree with Luke. AquaQuest makes excellent tarps. I’ve used my 10x10 Safari for shade or cover in a thunderstorm.
Camping at campgrounds is a good way to start.
I like checking out other peoples gear and test out my own. And I’m close to my vehicle should I need it.
My Big Agnes Copper Spur 2 person tent has great ventilation and has remained waterproof in several storms.
      Good luck in your adventures.

Love your channel nice to see a young gentleman on UA-cam. You are very knowledgeable and your vids are excellent. I am a 72 yr old marine Nam vet who also spent 30 yrs on the st louis police dept. Just recenly bought 35 acres of woods in se Missouri and loving it . We have a pole barn and very small cabins with a well andvslectric to the barn but never to the cabins they will remain either campfire or stove heating and cooking. I just love to go there and just explore or just sit on my rear and do nothing except appreciate there quiet and scary noises and movement at night . It reminds me of being in the jungle many years ago. Keep up the good work GOD BLESS YOUAND YOURS

I have a gazelle T8 and it has been an absolute fortress. We never get any bugs in it and it and it breaths well enough through all it's windows. It has withstood 40+ mph winds and rain and held up like a champ. No leaks no problem. It is important to guy out the sidewalls. It's held up to snow and hail too no problem.

    • @larryfisher7056
      @larryfisher7056 Рік тому

I have used the Gazelle T3X extensively ( about 45 nights). No bugs and very snug shelter in weather. The orange color of this Poler tent would be horrendous in more northern areas where it never gets dark in the summer. It would be like trying to sleep in a light bulb. No thanks.

Hey there! As an e-bike user who loves outdoor exploration, I stumbled upon your video about freebeat's new product, the freebeat Morph 2-in-1 e-Bike. I must say, I'm impressed by the outstanding features this e-bike offers. The ability to charge the bike in indoor mode is a game-changer! The brushless 750W motor, 80Nm torque, and top speed of 20mph sound exhilarating. The 80mm front suspension and puncture-resistant fat tires ensure a smooth ride in any terrain, while the IPX5 Waterproof finish makes it perfect for any weather. The Smart Saddle Detection+ feature and the conversion of indoor calories into CO2-free miles truly showcase the unique blend of fitness and technology. I'm excited to support this crowdfunding project and can't wait to experience the limitless freedom it offers! Keep up the great work!

If it were me I would just send the tent back. It was expensive but cheaply made. There are other tents on the market that are better. It’s not worth further testing. Excited about your trip to Japan. I lived there for a year and half. Love Japan. I have been back a couple times. Camping there will be different. All I ever saw were private campgrounds but the beauty of Mt Fuji is worth it. Japan is a beautiful country.

The test of the tarp provides an awning owning in front of the tent entrance. They cook drink, eat, chat . In comfort under the owning and enjoy the rain it snow.

@@jordyjakequeen8404 I live in Southwest Louisiana and we can have some torrential rainstorms. I don't like to hear there are hail and tornado watches, plus we get hurricanes and tropical storms. I don't like to be out in those heavy rains, though. To stay dry in a heavy rainstorm, one would have to be covered in plastic from head to toe. It started to pour down when I was leaving work, once, so I went back inside and fashioned a full-body rain suit by putting two eye-holes in a huge plastic bag, put it on and got home without getting soaked. I wondered what people would think, if they had seen me wearing that huge, black plastic bag. LOL! 😂

Haven't seen Susie in awhile. See if you can get her to come along soon. You sure know how to set up tarps! A 20ft by 13ft tarp with 4 tall and 4 short Elephant poles!---Wow that's 260 sq ft! For sawing wood, I like my Bauer small 20V chainsaw although I do own a Silky Gomboy too. I was glad to hear Susie on the phone. It reminds me of Charle's Angles.

Luke … Outstanding video!!! Love your music and can’t wait to see the trail can videos!!! Send the tent back with a letter describing its initial faults … and make them aware these were initial observations and faults … and not an in depth review! See what they say and then let us know. That’s what I would do. Finally, I just wanted to tell you how impressed I am with how you and Susie so complement one another; you are two very lucky people to have each other!!! Until your next video, take care, be safe, best wishes and God bless!!! Chuck Knight from Buffalo, Texas. 👨‍🌾✝️🙏🖖👍🏼

As far as that horrible tent goes, I say, keep the tent and test it to see how bad it fails!

Hi, I would return this tent and have it replaced…….thereby eliminating the (remote) possibility that this is a one-off fault. When you test the replacement and it fails you will know, within reasonable statistical probability that this product has a generic issue; get your money back, and publish, with confidence, a recommendation not to buy.

18:58 Did Luke just do a step 2??🤣 Loving the tent despite the horrid color...looks great for Spring and Summer. I mean forget the leaks, it's a car camping tent anyway, only take it out in dry conditions and IF you get a surprise rain, just retreat to the truck. The thing looks top notch for ventilation, no condensation and being bug proof.

You should make rain "ASMR" videos based on all the different rainstorms you camp through. you could even loop them if you need for longer videos. But I think based off how often you get storms that often might now be long enough."

Luke I am happy to see your Aquaquest monster tarp get so much use and it holds up well under heavy rain. I got one back about a year ago and rarely get this type of rain levels to use it in. I am in SC and it is way too hot most times of the year to even try during rain events.

I was hoping he wasn't going to try out that tent in that storm. He has changed how we camp no more "surprise showers" when you have a good tarp.
