Absolutely nothing is wrong with keeping fish, I catch clean and cook fish all the time for food. However that lake has lots of yard chemicals and it is probably not the best idea to keep fish out of there
I totally understand how you feel my husband and i both sometimes have people to do us like that but we just kindly let them do them. We either move or just stay and fish on . love your kindness about it. Fishon.
Actually, I deal with that too when I’m fishing to be honest, that’s very rude for someone to do that, I won’t tell you how i handle the situation. My way is not always the best way.
