      You can order them from TroutMagnet.com for sure. You might also find them in Walmart, Academy Sports, or Bass Pro Stores. On their website, Trout Magnet has them in different quantities, too.

    Thanks for the education on the Fin Spin Jig Heads - you are always sharing innovative ways to enhance the fishing experience. That was an expensive Slab at 4.15!!! Soon you will be patenting the Sawed-Off Rod...catchy! So many beautiful Crappie. That was a fantastic outing and very entertaining. You continue to raise the bar on Fish Per Video Ratio.

      Thanks so much, Ron! I was just thankful to land a few papermouths, even with a modified rod.😂

    My absolute favorite fishing channel on UA-cam! So many great options, colors, and sizes! Oh no, sorry that your rod tip broke brother but awesome resilience to not let it stop your fishing! " The Sawed Off Rod" Sounds like you just named your first pole series for Pistol Creek Panfishing Tackle Company! You wore them Crappie out Chris! You're absolutely right, any Crappie is a good Crappie! Awesome video brother! Thanks for sharing!

      Usually seems like around here, you will catch many crappie that are close in size schooled together. There’s always one or two that are significantly larger or smaller than the rest… but most will be close. For example, whenever I find a school of small juvenile crappie, for some reason I usually don’t catch any larger mature fish in the same spot. Thank you so much for watching!

    Awesome! Those are some beautiful underspins, and caught you some dandy crappie too! Love those stickers up on the front of the kayak! Haha. Hate you broke a rod!

    I've used trout and crappie magnets, under spins and more, for years and stand by what you say about them. I have other crappie baits, but the magnets are my favorite!

      @@pistolcreek Figured you could get in that lay down and get some more crappie. Now to figure out what bait works best for vertical jigging.

    "Fishing with the Ace Hawk Heavy Power Extra Extra Extra Fast 3' foot rod". Seriously... nice job on this one with what must have been a pretty disappointing event. At least it wasn't a $350 rod! Check out the stuff i_fish uses! His BG1 jig heads ad matching floats are awesome!! Another great fishing channel!

    • @pistolcreek
      @pistolcreek  7 місяців тому +1

      Your comment cracked me up, Chip!😂 That’s too funny. That rod was gifted to me by a friend. Hate I broke it, but awesome part is that rod came with 2 different tip sections. It had an UL and a L. Thankfully, I can still use it as a light action rod. I have ordered and fished the BG-1 before! Fun jig heads and they pair very well with a lot of the micro plastics. Thanks for watching!

    • @chipseiler1766

      @@pistolcreek Wow. Sorry for the loss of a gift. That makes it hurt even more. Good you had the extra tip! ..I love your channel! Your graphics work in your intros are second to none! Intros are the best of all fishing channels on UA-cam. You also have your own "jingle". How did you get that? Friend, wife, you? Paid musicians? Love it! ..I broke a rod 4 weeks ago. I had the worst fall of my life! I tripped over a broken flap on the front of my tennis shoe and hit the ground hard. Landed on top of one of the 6 rods I was carrying that day. (I always try to travel light for pond fishing. You know, 6 rods a tackle box and a fanny pack. ) Seriously.. if it hadn't been Spring and I hadn't brought a couple of bass rods just in case, I would have only had 4 ultra lites. Still too many by most folks pond fishing standards, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do! The short of it is, I replaced a broken one piece 7 foot lite action St. Croix Panfish rod and a Shimano NASCI reel with a one piece 6 foot 6 inch TFO Panfish 2 and the new Shimano Stradic 1000 FM. I was also fortunate in that my wonderful mother-in-law gifted me a new pair of shoes and the new rod. I splurged on the Stadic! I love it! The Stradic's a bit hard to turn compared to the old ones, but soooo smooth. (on a side note, I reached out to Shimano regading my damaged NASCI. The worst damage was to the spool. Can't be fished or it would destroy the line. A new spool is $40! Almost half the cost of my less than a year old NASCI. They were out and didn't have any coming in until August. That's what prompted me to get a replacement reel as well. ..but.. The rep went and looked on the shelf and found the last one ion the shelf that actually wasn't in inventory, and due to my "circumstances and trouble" he sent it to me at NO CHARGE! God is good!). Sorry to ramble. Blessings.

      @chipseiler1766 Sounds like you were definitely blessed there. No serious injury and you caught a “break” on replacing your broken gear. I’m picturing you carrying 6 rods to a pond😂 That’s dedication, my friend.

  • @swampstalkeroutdoors

      Thanks so much! Ha! That’s my DIY “retractable anchor rope”. I hook it to a small weight when I need to anchor down. Since it retracts, it doesn’t take up much space.

  • @The-Host
    @The-Host 7 місяців тому +1

    What do you mean when you say youre tipping the hook with bait bites? Wouldnt that throw off the action?

    • @pistolcreek
      @pistolcreek  6 місяців тому

      I should have did a better job explaining that! Sorry. All you need to do is place a Slab Bite over the tip of your hook. It won’t affect the action and will help attract more strikes. They work really well!
