This week, I bought both the Bag-O-Bone and Contender. In previous years, I've either been silent or used can calls. I'm excited to change it this year.
I hunt public that everyone rattles and grunts every 5 minutes. I swear so many people have never heard a real deer grunt!! Only young fawns bleat like so called doe in heat bleats, every doe I've seen grunt just like a buck but softer tone, I don't know how many times I thought a buck was coming from hearing grunts and a doe walks by. I have heard a buck roar but usually when I jump one and scare it up . I've watched bucks chasing and tending a doe and none grunt like the Experts sponsored by a game call company. The original True talker to me is one of the best and I use it softly. All that buck roar and so called irresistible calls are a waste of money and I've heard huge bucks fighting. No man is going to imitate that sound! Wasn't much grunting but the antler noise was incredible!! To all you newbies don't buy into it, if you want to grunt do it soft and slow and not very often. I've hunted for over 40 years, about seen and heard everything in the deer woods and deer don't sound like the calls companies are trying to sell you.
You just explained 99.9 percent of the entire hunting industry. Soap, scent covers, pee, calls, noise makers, camo, attractant, show me a hunting show on network tv that isn't an hour long product commercial. You can learn way more about behavior and habits by watching old nature programs like wild America than you'll ever get from any hunting show with product sponsors.
@@willtaylor4084 they make them kinda loud for the deer to hear them from farther away but you don’t want to blow too hard in the grunt. To make them sound weird
I bought your first flextone grunt with the snort weez and I'm still using it. I've called in a lot of bucks with it, I love it best deer grunt/call I've ever had.
My first year rattling horns and I have seen the most bucks ever through my couple years of hunting. Rattled in a brusier into abour 45 yds earlier this year but never got a shot 😪

I bought one of their calls and I couldn’t even get a sound out of it. Air wouldn’t pass through it. They said they’d send another one out but I never received it. I even told em I’d send The other one back in another email to no response. Thanks
This year on the first day of archery (before rut...sept 15th) I called a doe with a buck grunt and buck urine. First time a doe came in....right to me with a grunt and buck urine. Called a 10 point in on dec 22nd this year in NC....I use 50/50 mix of buck urine and estrus on a drag string and three cotton balls around the tree stand.. He came by me in the dark from the scent....grunted about three times and he came out of the pines into open woods at 8 am...shot him dead. I use the cheapest scent out there....code red....works every year for the big ones.....if they don't come in they're not there or they flat out busted you. saw you move.
Cold is good, it's all about timing and herd diversity, if a buck is on high alert he may be able to pinpoint Exactly where you are...if hes all pumped up because of the rut, then his guard will be down some..you may never even see him..no movement is imperative, some come in on string(rare) most take there time and notice any little unnatural movements..obviously hunting pressure is a big factor as well Good luck..
Lol.. that sounded like a duck.. I aint hever heard a buck sound like that first call..😂😂 Second one was better. Tru-Talker is the best grunt call ever in my opinion but everyone thinks theirs is best.
It’s all different but I’ve heard that some really mature bucks don’t want to mess with a fight make your tone like a doe or a spike really soft non aggressive
This man started on private land. He started out in the same county I’ve always hunted. I’ve never had a lot of luck with grunts. But for you guys to say he don’t know what he’s talking about your obviously mistaken. I’m in Talbot and Meriwether county. Michael is a good man.
I love this guys instructional videos and products. Good stuff from Bone Collector
Getting to be that time of year to get the calls out, favorite time to be in the woods.

Yeah I never understood why the calls are so damn loud.

Was thinking earlier today, how did anyone ever kill a deer before all these calls, rattle bags, scents, etc. were ever made 🤔 😅

those calls RE SICK
thanks for this video I saw 8point come up right me your video is big help
I just tried this and 2 min later had 2 spikes run in
So I’ve looked to see what the call is made of and can’t find it. Is it made of wood or plastic?

How about you make some cables for the tree stands. Cant find the originals anywhere
How long do these usually take to arrive

How often do you blind grunt, especially if you're sitting in or around a bedding area?
Like once an hour or so
@@charlesg7926 how many social grunts should you do when blind calling ?I’ve heard 1 or 2 soft grunts . Just making for sure .
what are you calling in a boar ?
deer

I like the original true talker also I’ve called a lot of bucks in with it from young bucks to older mature bucks
I've had a couple buck come in grunting and it's cool
EVERY time i use a grunt call the buck hauls ass out of the area. EVERY TIME.

Just be careful because shy bucks will run form calls
Impressive... but not one mature deer came in... when is that part?
That da** kinky algorithm brought me here. This like the Weird Al of deer hunting?
That call sounds awful
might work on private land....this dude couldnt kill shit on public

Just keep baiting them deer on your private land don’t need any grunts or calls , hunt deer instead of them hunting you
