Thanks man. First season hunting whitetails. Bought this and it didnt have any info in packaging. I was headed in blind and you just helped me understand the call and now im confident in the sounds im getting. Absolutely grateful.
Im a box stand at the moment but hunting close trails with a crossbow. Always scared these would scare deer off. How hard am i supposed to press down on this call on each button. Cause the harder i push, it chnages sound 🤷♂️
Harry Johnson it’s one of those things you need to practice. The harder you press the higher pitch tone you get. So I guess it would depend on what age class deer you’re trying to imitate. Normally for buck grunts I like to imitate a younger buck. If you would like a big mature bruiser all the time, you will scare off more bucks than you will bring in. Good luck out there!! I’m jealous, I’m at work in the rain lol.
@@undertoeoutdoors8317 lol yea hurricane laura an delta have me missing work. The refinery i work in had to shut down and now crank back up an its dangerous. So they send most workers home. Wish it was cooler an in the rut tho 😁
I have the plain one I've had for several years now, probably when they first came out, and if they still make them they must be pretty good calls. I've called in a few bucks and does with mine over the years.
I just got one with the snort wheeze and a black muffle cap last week, but it's called "The Buck Rage II" instead of "Boned Up". I think they just renamed it and added those this year.
Yes I would use either the doe bleat or a young buck grunt. Dont over call. It’s hard but less is usually more. And don’t blind call with the young buck grunt. I usually only blind call with a doe call.
@@undertoeoutdoors8317 hey man I appreciate your response but I figured it out I've had it for almost a year and in the middle of my hunt I realized my Reed was upside down when you showed yours in the video. Thanks for the info
@@undertoeoutdoors8317 im glad I noticed it in your vid because I could never use a doe bleat with it sounding like a dying duck, so I was stuck only being able to blow a rut and with it being this late in the season I really needed it. Thinking I must've put back in wrong but I dnt know

I passed on some more expensive calls with more attractive packaging for this one because of its size. Glad I got it after seeing this video. Thanks.
Just got one for $5 at Walmart excited to try it
Just picked up one at my local hardware store. I swear it has the best sound I’ve heard in a call.
Thanks for the vid. Very helpful. I bought one the other day. I think i am going to like. Good luck out there and be safe.
I am about to buy one so I looked at reviews on UA-cam and now I know I’m going to likebit
It’s a great call. Still have mine. Still use it.
would be awesome if hartford would have run up behind you!.....nice video....thanks
Called in some does and 2 bucks this year. A 4point and then a 7point this passed Sunday. Hopefully I can call in a doe with it tomorrow.
Nice!! That’s good stuff, brother! What part of the country are you in?
i use my deer call and sounds like a deer to me and i loved your video
Thank you!! It’s a pretty good call for the price

Oh wow that sounds crazy. The biggest bucks I’ve ever seen while hunting have been in October. At Least here in New England.
pq
I got the same call for Christmas
Great little deer call isn’t it? Lightweight, compact and sounds good!
Just got the same one. Hopefully I can call somethin in
+OhGod Prankz it’s a pretty good little call. Light weight and small. And produces good sound.

@@wizardofahhhs759 same thats the one I have. Called in some does and bucks this year first using it.
Did that one come with a cap on the front and a snort wheeze when you got it
It did not.
UNDERTOE OUTDOORS huh I must have a different one

@@JohnDoe-cx3gu you probably have the Extractor it has that black hose thing and a little snort weeze on the side
I got a decent 8 point buck on my property doesn’t seem too old. Which tone should I use to call it in right now? The doe call?

@@undertoeoutdoors8317 thanks for the response
Of course. I’m here to help
Hey mane I having trouble on how hard to squeeze the doe and fawn without out sounding ify
Is the plastic hard to squeeze? Sometimes taking the reed out and adjusting how it sits in the call, helps a lot

Oh wow lol. Glad you figured it out. I’ve gotten in the habit of always tuning the reed a little with each new call I get.

Hey it could of been a mess up while putting it together in manufacturing too. At least you got it sorted out.
nice call..
It really is. For the size it puts out good sounds and has great tones. Flextime makes a good product
