- What’s going on everyone, welcome back to another video! As many of you may know, I don’t fish saltwater very often so this was definitely a fun outing at Morro bay! The bait we were using was lugworms and we were able to catch a couple fish! I do apologize for the wind noise but I hope you guys enjoy the video! As always thanks for the support and good luck out there! 🎣😀
the small fish with big pectoral fins and big mouth looked like a baby ling cod, you can keep em when they grow another 28 inches 🙂 good eatin
It was a Staghorn Sculpin
Nice you should have used the sand dab on a live bait rig. Nice content bro
I’ll have to try that next time I go bro! Thanks man I really appreciate it 🎣😀
Nice catches brother
Thanks bro, I really appreciate it!
New sub ! Liked 👍✌️🔥😅
Thanks for the support! I really appreciate it!
I usually go fishing at Tognazinni's.
Ikr
Blackened halibut sammich.
Once you go black, you never go back.
Hi! Do you know if the piers at Morro Bay require a fishing license or if they're license required? Thank you!
Those are sand dabs that you caught at the end of video. Half moon bay is loaded with them. Good eating too.
That pound and a half perch was like a small mouth bass lol gonna go hit this spot today !!
You should go shark fishing on the pier
Forsure bro, I plan on doing that soon!
What was your rod and reel setup?
Honestly these are just old combos that I use for freshwater fishing they are medium heavy, I haven’t bought any dedicated salt water setups since I don’t fish salt water too often. I will be getting some saltwater set ups soon though 🎣😀
@@CertifiedHooksets oh ok no worries I was just curious cause I've never finished off a pier and was just wondering what kind of gear I should use for pier fishing
You gotta stop in Bakersfield!
That’s where I primarily fish! 🎣
A bro how did you set it up
Never!
There’s no flounder species in the west coast, that’s a sand dab.
Starry flounder
Cool video where is this pier at
It is on the Embarcadero where the Coast Guard office is. Right before you turn the corner on the way to Morro Rock.
Is it good for crabbing??
